"CAW!" exclaims the bird as it shoots forward, flying over the cots between it and the goblin. Once in range, it rips a chunk out of the beasts face.

Baku's glob of acid falls harmlessly at the goblin's feet.
Herra's bite does indeed remove a chunk from the yellow goblin's face. The other goblins start to laugh at the sight. The goblin in the dirty blue hat moves forward and slashes at Ahraq with his sword.
attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
However, he is laughing too hard at his friend's misfortune to aim carefully.
The goblin wearing the ragged purple scarf moves close to Raga and swings his sword.
attk, flank: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 2 = 10
He is giggling too much about his companion's attack missing, and so his attack misses also.

"Let the fires of Svarozic burn within us!" Ahraq yells gleefully. The flames along his arms seem to flicker more brightly, and the air around Herra, Khana, and Raga begins to glow as if superheated.
Ahraq, Herra, Khana, and Raga now have DR 1/- until the end of this combat.
Ahraq steps forward beside the kitsune and swings at the goblin with the pink scarf tied around his waist.

Yes, and yes. Sorry, I should have explained it better the first time he used it. The "flames" and "superheated air" were just me trying to put a visual description to something that's otherwise flavorless.
He'll do this as his swift action at the beginning of each combat (assuming there's no more than 6 combats in a day.)
He can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + his Charisma modifier. During a battle, he can change the allies this ability affects as a swift action. Ending it is a free action, but each time it is activated again during a single combat, another use of the ability is expended. He must participate in the combat to use this ability. If he is frightened, panicked, paralyzed, stunned, unconscious, or otherwise prevented from participating in the combat, any DR this ability bestows is temporarily suspended until he can participate in the combat again; this doesn’t count as ending the ability.
This ability replaces smite evil.

Ahraq's blow tears into one goblin, reducing it to a pile of goo. Yroh's attack just barely passes over the goblin's head.

Khana splits the blue goblin in half with her axe. Raga slays the goblin in the orange shirt with one swing of her sword. Elado kills the goblin with the red hat with one well-placed snowball. Hera bites another chunk out of the last goblin.

"What?!? You'd love it, it's a great country! They have the highest regard for magic...and you don't have to eat the street food. We are civilized, after all, and we have restaurants catering to ALL tastes!"

Quickly rummaging through the fragrant room, Baku ensures there's nothing of note to take back or use.
Sharing anything he finds, he and Herra return to their assigned position and signal for the group to lead onward. "Ready when you are."

"What?!? You'd love it, it's a great country! They have the highest regard for magic...and you don't have to eat the street food. We are civilized, after all, and we have restaurants catering to ALL tastes!"
"It is precisely those tastes that concern me."

GM Redelia |

Baku finds a variety of spoiled dropped food, and a few pieces of dirty goblin clothing, but nothing of interest.
You move on into the next room, and find an oddly shaped room. It is divided into two parts by a 20 foot long passageway. There are doors on both sides of the narrow passageway. Your way forward is blocked by a large pile of rubble, mostly wooden bits. The pile of rubble has a narrow passageway through, which only a small creature can squeeze through. You hear signs of goblins from the other side of the room, and also from the other side of the rubble.
Guys, I've misread something so far. If you don't have darkvision, your source of light only makes it 5 ft out from you in any direction. The green walls are sucking in any light. Sorry for the mixup.

![]() |

Understood - so there is a 5ft radius around me that is lit then I take it.
Stopping at the sound, Baku peers into the darkness. "You hear that?" he whispers. "Sounds like more trouble. Is there a way through? Or do we need to go around?"

![]() |

Do I smell anything significant?
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17 additional +3 to find traps, or +2 to find hidden things that aren't traps

GM Redelia |

Baku, you doubt you could make it through the gap, at least without making a lot of noise and making yourself a target. You would have no trouble travelling to the other side of the room.
Khana, you smell signs of goblins and rotting food all over. Your smell agrees with what the others have already heard, that there appear to be goblins through the gap and also on the other side of the room. You do not notice any traps.

![]() |

"More Goblins," Whispers Khāṇa as she points in the direction of the smell. Could I please have some sort of indicator for that?

![]() |

If I understand correctly, the way North (Up) is blocked by debris, but the way West (Left) is clear?
Pointing towards the far side of the room, Baku whispers "Shall we? I suspect we'll get flanked once we engage. Herra volunteers to be rear guard, if needed."

Herra |

Hearing herself volunteered, the bird turns to Baku suddenly and asks "buKaw?!"

![]() |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

"You're saying there's a small hole goblins would have to squeeze through? Would it be evil to tie a rope to some of that rotted food we found and toss it through, and then draw it back, forcing them to come through the spot they have to squeeze so they can be dealt with in order?" Raga offers with a feral smirk.

![]() |

Looking to the herald of Ragathiel, Baku blinks a few times. "Well...that...yeah. Not a bad idea."

![]() |

"Are they so foolish as that?" Yroh considers the plan for a moment. "Hrm. Perhaps they are."

![]() |

Ridiculous.. I love it.
Elado will stand behind the maulers and ready an icy blast should we get flanked. Holding my Wayfinder for light, no darkvision.

![]() |

"Neat idea! Oops, gotta be quiet, sorry"
Ahraq moves over to the northern hallway. "I can see what's coming. I'll keep watch this way while you guys troll for goblins."

![]() |

Raga will provided someone brings light over for her... she forgot torches in her trip-prep *facepalm* take some scraps of goblin clothing that are relatively blood free and wrap it around the nasty food, making a little 'food ball' out of it, then tie it together so some of the foodstuff is visible and odorous. She will then wrap her silk rope around the ball of nasty food.
She will take care to not bring it too close to Khana so as not to overwhelm the keen senses of the half-orc, then glance around to the rest of the party.
"Someone who can see the hole should probably throw this through, I can anchor it and if someone else wants to pull the line when we get a nibble that should do the trick, right?"
Raga can anchor, but someone with darkvision will probably need to toss it... Not sure what roll Raga would need, but I'm on board for Golarion Goblin Gettin' Fishing!

GM Redelia |

Raga finds the big hunk of rotten cheese that one of the goblins threw away from himself when you arrived and uses that to make a 'food ball.'
Hmmmm, I think that we will use a ranged attack roll for throwing the food ball. If you miss, you can just do it again, but several misses may make something reasonable but bad happpen.

![]() |

...was REALLY hoping someone with say, *Darkvision* would volunteer, as Raga can only see 10' away at *best*. However, if no one else steps up to do this, she can give it a shot, though it probably won't even make it through the hole, since she can't see where she's aiming...

![]() |

I had the same hope - this is a bout the best I can offer.
Noting Raga is preparing to toss the food with the same visual concerns as the druid, Baku frowns. "Just don't let them eat me." he whispers to Raga and quietly creeps towards the hole.
Standing just off to the side, with Herra nearby, he casts a sliver of light towards the opening.
Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

![]() |

Remembering to whisper only because Elado addressed him that way, Ahraq is initially excited by the idea.
"Yeah, that sounds like a great idea."
But then remembers a couple things:
"Oh, but you can't see. Cause this hallway goes quite a ways in the wrong direction." He then very sheepishly adds, "And my last party warned me against running off on my own. Verrrry sternly."

![]() |

REEL THEM IN! (CMD? STR check?): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 That is for a Strength check, if CMD would be more appropriate add +1
Raga is startled by the tug on the rope and goes to reel it in and starts wobbling as her vulpine feet scrabble for some sort of purchase!
"Lil' help?"

![]() |

Seeing that Raga apparently doesn't know how to pull a rope, Khāṇa cuts in front of her and gives her own best yank.
Strength check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 additional +1 if it's a CMB check.
"Maybe it's stuck on something...?"

![]() |

Because she was anchoring/pulling the rope, Raga has only her mouth free to actually attack with, and she snaps down at the hapless goblin!
Bite (vs. flat-footed?): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Assuming, of course, that Raga is in range to bite it, if allowed, etc.
