Karnog - the master of the treasure log - and others. When you get to the the goblin city several thing to note: 1. Any non-small item sold by a non-goblinoid is sold at 45% not 50% of it's value. 2. All small items are sold at the normal 50% value rate. 3. I'll need a diplomacy roll with when dealing with each vendor.

Influencing Goblins in Greznek

The goblin city details is unusual for The Dungeon of Graves in that it is not necessarily a dangerous place for the PCs to explore. In fact, depending upon how the PCs decide to deal with the locals, it could serve as a place to rest, prepare spells, and even trade in some hard-won treasures. Should the PCs grow hostile, however, Greznek, like all of Rappan Athuk, quickly becomes inhospitable and deadly. This is a roleplaying level. If the PCs take the time to get to know the natives, they may learn of a curse that has befallen the city.

Fair warning...the level of commerce here will keep me interested due to my deity, but otherwise, I will not be very interractive or much help, with a race my character views a dangerous monstrosity and an enemy.

Karnog will have a hard time with it too with Torag, being LG, and a dwarf. Even being LG and a holy person/pally your deity has no deathwish for you and understands the greater purpose of the limited association.

That being said, I understand the purpose is to reload and upgrade gear, so unless you all do some foolish things you should be able to accomplish your goal. There is also a may which I will explain with your goblin guide on how you all can actually be semi-heroes as long as you don't flaunt your deities/LG alignment.

Malcolm I see you have varisan as language I'll let you swap that out for undercommon if you want. role wise you would have learned the tongue of the enemy.

Feli I'll let you swap one of your languages you don't really use if you like maybe the sylvan. although the abysaal will be spoken by some of the more elite creatures you see.

The rest of you don't really have languages (which you haven't used) to spare or swap out form a quick review.

I can see you leveled up Sept 29th to 8th level. I could have swore it was after that but that did not happen. Apparently you rested up when you were corned in the spider cavern back in late Sept. Afterwards you fought the three advanced trolls and headed to 9A dragon/Gug level, which leads to the goblin city.

That being said everyone can level to 9th now.

OK, so more hit points, better Reflex and Fort saves, Know (Dungeoneering), Intimidate, and Spellcraft go up. Kalim's anatomy is starting to get weird, giving 25% chance of avoiding crits and sneak attacks. And some delicious new spells:

Hypnotic Pattern! Hold Person! Black Tentacles! Aaaaaand a DC 22 Phantasmal Killer (as Kalim summons images of Those Beyond the Void)!

Masterwork tools (woodworking, stoneworking, blacksmithing, armorsmithing, weaponsmithing) or some item/set which will allow their use.

Raw materials for 1 large suit of plate mail and 1 large greatsword (presents for Meathead once I can fabricate and masterwork transformation them)

Upgraded shield (+2 or better heavy shield, or +3 or better light/buckler)

Metamagic rods (extend, reach in particular)

Anything that will increase Cha or crafting skills (especially if something that will increase all craft(x) skills)
