Elathras smiles, wiping his nose with his sleeve and then pulling his silk scarf back up. 'Good job Gruk! you too Irenicus! and you Daal!" seeing the weapons on the floor, "Good job everyone! Look we have more weapons now!" Elathras begins to gather up the weapons and armor.

Some of the more notable items include several suits of chainmail, a breastplate, a full suit of dwarf-sized half-plate, two masterwork steel shields (one heavy and one light), a masterwork heavy mace, a masterwork short sword, a masterwork morningstar, a silver dagger, a masterwork composite short bow (+1 Str), 18 masterwork arrows, a masterwork dagger, a masterwork throwing axe and a masterwork warhammer. And these are all functional.

Elathras smiles under his scarf, walking around picking up different weapons, swinging the hammer, then thrusting at imaginary opponents with a short sword. At one point he lifts the dwarven halfplate up against his chest to see if it would fit. Smiling he turns to Gruk, "All this really nice gear, what do you think we should keep?"

While Gruk and Irenicus admire the magic items and Kaz tries on the armor and Mitleid admires the bow, Elatras gets a little bored and picking his torch back up, he rests his greatsword on his shoulder and returning to the hallway, finds another hall going north. He follows the north going hallway until he finds a door, "Hey look Dolgrin, a door!" Not being able to resist a closed door he carefully inspects it, looking for locks or traps.

realizing the lock looks very similar to the ones his new key opens Elathras calls back to Dolgrin "Hey look Dolgrin, these locks look like my key fits them." He rests his sword beside the door, pulling the key out of his pouch. Showing the key to Dolgrin he then looks from the key, to the lock and back to the key. Shrugging his shoulders he puts the key in the lock, and unlocking the door opens it up and looks inside.

after opening the door with his key Elathras realizes the room is where the stairs from the first floor lead to, "Look Dolgrin this must be the room we came in at." Elathras carefully shuts the door and locks it, returning his key to his pouch.
Elathras returns to the others and informs them: "Guess what Gruk I found another door that goes to where the dark room is!"

Elathras nods his head in agreement, "Your are right Gruk, now we have some idea of what's in here." Pulling his fallen scarf back over his nose. "Who would have ever thought, undead in a crypt, It was so shocking I almost wet myself."

Elathras busies himself filling his impromptu ruck sack with the coins they found, finally retying the knotted ogre pants to his back he adds. "Now we can leave, lets go straight back to the rope and climb back out." True to his word Einar leads the team back through the ogre room and into the cave, climbing the rope, they find themselves back out side.
I hope the narration was ok brv.
Once outside Elathras looks around to try and get his bearings; First attempting to figure out where the were in reference to the mausoleum they first went in, and then the way to go back to Zelkor's ferry.

Profession allows you to make money if you spend a week at your profession if you make the roll. This is a cheap version of Autonomous Cartographer which I do not allow either. Elathras has been doing your mapping.

Irenicus can, the player can't lol. I vote elathras as he is on roll20 the most. From my phone I rarely get to see the map.
We could roleplay it that irenicus makes the maps in game so we don't get lost, but Robert keeps track out of game?
That was over a year ago. Profession is a collection of skills. Cartography involves mapmaking. Plus this isn't face to face gaming, drawing maps in RL isn't happening on this end any time soon. Let me know if I can't make maps with cartography I'll put the points elsewhere.

Irenicus, I have provided maps for you in the maps section for overland travel. I merely asked that you look at them to determine where you are and where you are going. His cartography skill could be part of how you got these, but 1 point isn't going to do a whole lot. Your party says they want to go to Bard's Gate, but no one has even looked to see how far it is or how to get there. I will give you a clue, it is around 1000 miles so at 16 miles per day you are going to be walking a long time.

Elathras was looking for familiar signs to go to the mausoleum or Zelkors ferry, thus the two survival rolls, if I remember right, out of game I am mapping but in game Irenicus is. Did Elathras see anything that would lead him to either the Mausoleum or the little town?
also, we are apparently going to need to camp soon.

We should strike up a camp outside of the little gully the complex is in.
And if we go back to town, etc, we have lots of time to collate the information
we have already into more cohesive maps for the return trip.

All three mausoleums are in sight when you reach the surface. Zelkor's Ferry is a six day walk to the west.

Elathras looks over at the Mausoleums shaking his head. "Hey Gruk I don't know that I want to camp this close to the Mausoleums. Can we head west toward the ferry for a bit or go back and camp in a room under ground?"

Elathras leads the team west until dusk settles and they can't travel any more. "Hey Kaz, I think It would be best if we ran a cold camp and ate jerky instead of cooking, I still think we are too close to the cemetery for our own good. Shall we do our normal watch?"
