One evoker checking in. I promise that I'll try really hard to not get any party members in a fireball....
Maps for 50 gold? Hmm.... Have to check on that treasure map spell. Create Treasure map. Divination! I can do that. But, spell components: (powdered metal and rare inks worth 100 gp). Not sure it's worth that!

Helgash wrote:Thanks! The character is built for defense - she doesn't do much damage at all, for instance. Her saves aren't great either, and she has no spells, though she can do some combat maneuvers to better assist the party. But to answer your question - no, the AC there is without crane style, fighting defensively, or combat expertise. With those, it goes up a bit more.Hello hello.
And dang Samara! I thought I was tanky... You have AC28 without any buffs?! :O
Is that already in crane style and fighting defensively?
:O

Okay. I'm trying to work up the sheet into the format everyone else is using (along with the last minute expenditures, changes, and mistakes), but I have a question.
So the Toothy alternate racial trait for Half-Orcs says: "Some half-orcs’ tusks are large and sharp, granting a bite attack. This is a primary natural attack that deals 1d4 points of piercing damage. This racial trait replaces orc ferocity."
The Razortusk feat Half-Orcs can take says: "You can make a bite attack for 1d4 points of damage, plus your Strength modifier. You’re considered proficient in this attack and can apply feats or effects appropriate to natural attacks to it. If used as part of a full attack action, the bite is considered a secondary attack and is made at your full base attack bonus –5, and adds half your Strength modifier to damage."
The Tusked trait says: "Huge, sharp tusks bulge from your mouth, and you receive a bite attack (1d4 damage for Medium characters). If used as part of a full attack action, the bite attack is made at your full base attack bonus –5."
So...is the Tusked trait bite a primary attack (when not in a full attack with a weapon)? Or always a secondary attack? Does it get the normal 1-1/2 Str mod on damage? I'm trying to decide if I should get rid of it or keep it, but I want to make sure I understand it.
Rydell Valiros
Iirc any natural attack made after manufactured weapon attacks (including unarmed strikes) counts as a secondary attack. Tusks would be a primary if you only use natural attacks. Though I'm not at my books or pc
Samara Pellen
Tusked algo gives you a primary bite attack, that only becomes a secondary when used as part of a full attack with weapons etc.

Okay. So normally it would get more str bonus/power attack bonus to dmg on its own, but when part of a full attack with a weapon, it then gets only the half strength modifier and half the bonus for power attack as it becomes a secondary natural weapon at that point? Just want to make sure I am understanding correctly.
(As might be obvious, I'm a bit rusty, but also haven't really played with natural attacks before)
Abbott and Costello
If you are going all natural attacks, then they will be all the same bonus.
If you use manufactured weapons, then and natural attacks are treated as secondary.
I've never combined them. I've usually do one or the other, because I get confused by it...lol.
Happy you decided to join! Any assistance we can offer is gladly given.
I actually play more PF2e nowadays, so I at times forgot the PF1e stuff.
@GM Kirbye I was thinking about at 7th (insert foot in mouth assumption) when Costello advances, that he remain medium sized due to Abbott forcing him to smoke cigarettes since a pup? Seems extremely goblin to do.
I have always disliked that ACs were forced to grow in size. It really annoys me in PF2e with the druid wild shape progression too.

Only because it is a secondary natural attack if it were primary it would get full.

Just cast reduce animal on him. It last 1 hr/level and can be made permanent
I have over $10,000 invested in Frog God Pathfinder 1E. I am pretty well too invested to change now
Abbott and Costello
I swear I searched the druid list for that exact spell and didn't see it ..lol.
Perfect!
Unfortunately, Abbott still forced feed Costello cigarettes since young, because it's a learned behavior....

Great a rhino with COPD, he and me too. Hey I at least quit four years ago!
Rydell Valiros
might I make one request of our resident wizard? Could you perhaps.. please, bring the spell "rope trick"? it is... quite handy.
brvheart
Mm...If it's okay, then DM brvheart (who will NEVER take our freedom!), I will switch out the Tusked Trait for...something else?
Sure, we haven't started yet.
They kicked us out to Ireland and we got stuck there for 400 years!
Came over in 1731.

Everyone please join Roll20, the link is above, Lets me over to gameplay,

I would prefer he didn't. dm hates that spell and has work arounds
Duration 1 hour/level only half the time needed for the party to rest| Rydell Valiros |
well, it is the safest way to have a rest in the depths of a dungeon.
also, it just says I don't have access, and the one in your header is for skulls and shackles.

Damnit! Ugh. I typed up everything and then was writing a description, but it didn't save it and gave me an error, wiping it out. Sigh.
EDIT: Well you get a "this is what I got now" description instead, lol!
But the character sheet should be done now.
Helgash
Hi brvheart, I can access roll20, but cannot control Helgash's token.
Helgash
Yeah, Paizo is really messed up at the moment...
Helgash
Hey brvheart, I was thinking of being a Paladin of Muir instead of Mitra. What do you think? I like the whole idea of a declining Religion which still has some pockets here and there, dedicated to 'Older Gods'.
Zennek Rylin
Uhh...is Thoron supposed to be level 6 like the rest of us? They were 8 before and their hit points are still higher I think. I didn't but glance at the sheet.
Abbott and Costello
Roll20?
Unfortunately, I exclusively use my phone for my posting. My apologies for forgetting to ask about that.
Half my games are Theater of the mind and the others use Google maps which is extremely phone friendly.
I may need to bow out...
Again my sincere apologies.

Maybe we should all be level 8? :)

Muir is a better fit for RA anyway, Thoron is working on reducing his character back to level 6. He increased it for Dark Tower when he was playing in it until last year.
Roll20 works with Chrome. My wife uses it all the time on her phone.

Hmmm....I am looking at the S&S map on Roll20.
How do I get rid of the chat box on the right? It takes up half the screen so seeing the map isn't great.
I am willing to try though...
Ok. I think I have figured it out. The RA map is blank white at the moment but I can view most of it.
Game on! Let's rock some Orcus cultists!

I reduced the size for less white space, you can close the chat box

Gonna change a few magic items out before we fully start. Namely, dropping an amulet of natural armor for an eyes of the eagle. Leaves me with less in game gold, but enough to skim by.
Samara Pellen
@GM Should I intro Samara already in Gameplay? Should we assume the newcomers are somehow connected, part of the same party, etc.? Sorry, just catching up right now - I didn't realize we started already, and don't want to keep anyone waiting for her. :)
Helgash
Constantly…
brvheart
Don't blame you. It is getting hard to get the game started this way. I still need to finish up Roll20.
Helgash
I tried asking around in the Pathfinder Discord, but it is not official I think, so no one really knew anything.
brvheart
It seems to be a bit better the last day or so.
Once the party is about ready I will need an order of march and a watch order please.
Helgash
Marching order I suggest:
Front
.
Samara + Rydell or Monkeyman
Helgash + Zennek
Wyran + Thoron
Abbot + Monkeyman or Rydell
Costello
.
Back
Or
Front
.
Samara + Rydell or Monkeyman
Wyran + Thoron
Abbot + Monkeyman or Rydell
Costello
Helgash + Zennek
.
Back
[/B]Watch Order:[/b]
Helgash can take first.
Abbott and Costello
Abbott is riding Costello unless otherwise stated but they can do rearguard duties...(Hehe)
Nothing to see back here....
Goblins live to sleep so first watch for both please.
Helgash
Maybe we can go:
Marching order:
Front
.
Samara + Rydell or Monkeyman
Helgash + Zennek
Wyran + Thoron
Abbot on Costello + Monkeyman or Rydell
.
Back
Or
Front
.
Samara + Rydell or Monkeyman
Wyran + Thoron
Abbot on Costello Monkeyman or Rydell
Helgash + Zennek
.
Back
Watch Order:
First = Abbot + Costello
Second =
Third =
Fourth =
Last = Helgash + ?
(others place yourself where you want - remember we only need 5 watches of 2 hours, so we can all get 8 hours of rest. So we can do pairs in some cases)
Samara Pellen
I'm good with both proposed marching orders. Samara can take the third watch - she has Darkvision, light armor, no resources to recover per se, so it should work fine :)
