Didn't Twigg take one? Lini and Linark said they could hold them, though Linark was worried about friction with his armor.

Of course that's only roleplay, as Linark do not have the knowledge to handle that kind of stuff. I have one, at least, but I may have all the others if no one took them, and thus I'll handle them to whoever wants it (since Swords are not the best weapons against swarms).

Thinking that using the alchemist fire in this plantation is not a good idea, Linark begins swinging his Nodachi wildly (moving to the swarm's square IF necessairy), trying to get as many bugs as he can at once.

Hmm, can a swarm take a critical hit? Yeah, NO, what a shame...

technically there is one exception if you have a swarmbane clasp, then weapon damage does work, but I rather doubt anyone here has one

Talfryn will put away his sword, then take out flint and steel and a torch. I believe that is two move actions, otherwise I will begin lighting the torch which is a full round. I'm not going to drop the sword because I don't want to lose it in the cornfield.
