hmm, weird, I did not see the previous post...

Linark will take one of the Alchemist's fire and tosses close to where the creatures are. I've marked an intersection as blue, but I'm not sure how it works. I wanted to hit the swarm without damaging me or Lini.

Unless someone has some trick up their sleeve I don't know about, I think this amounts to us running. The closest body of water is probably our best bet since a flying swarm won't go in there. I'm not really sure how you want to run this, but right now we're not going anywhere or accomplishing anything.

Linark throws a alchemist fire for 4 points at the swarm. However, splash damage of 1 pt will hit him and Lini.

From what I can tell about alchemist fire, you choose a square, not a corner. That square gets the damage, and all adjacent squares get 1 point of splash. However, the swarm will get damaged next round as well, as it lasts 2 round.

Twig tosses an alchemist fire, but misses the swarm. The fire bounces on the ground and splashes on the swarm though.

I was actually worried about the plantation. It is dry, and pretty consistent, so it would burn as fast as gasoline... That's why I said we should run...

Improvised Throwing weapon: 1d20 + 3 - 4 - 4 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 3 - 4 - 4 - 4 = 11 Not 100% sure on the negatives, added dex, took away -4 for improvised, -4 for cover, and -4 for melee, Nat 20 hits.

Unless this causes the corn to start burning it's only going to do 1 fire damage, but I did advise just burning the entire field down before >.>

edit: actually confirm your crit for more damage. a thrown torch has a crit modifier of x5 if thrown in cornfield. i read that somewhere.

The swarm looks almost dispersed. One more solid hit should do it...
