Lini yells: Step Back Crabs! Or I will attack... and you don't want that!... just for you Rene
Lini turns to Droogami and whispers to him.
Droogami leaps at the closest crab and attempts a bite attack:
ATK: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
DAM: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Lini will attack the same crab with her sickle:

last crab go boom.
End of combat. You find enough crabmeat to have a feast if you wish.
Johendar Celestrum
|
Johender proceeds to shuck the shells off the crabs, pulling out the meat. Do we risk a fire, or just eat them au natural? Does anyone have a lemon?
Jothas Bate
|
"Not sure crab is health to eat raw. Think we need a fire"
survival: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 "But, like I said, I really don't know. Anyone eaten much crab before? Though I guess a fire would make us an obvious target. We've got rations anyway right?"
Talfryn
|
Survival;Untrained: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
"Guess we should have brought a chef with us." Talfryn adds, looking over the crab meat. "In any case, it would be better to not let the meat go to waste, so we either need to prepare it or find some way to preserve it."
Rene Duquesnoy
|
Since the crab is very fresh, you have a feeling that it will stay good for a little while. You can haul the good parts together, and put them in a makeshift cauldron. What would go good with crab? Maybe nice corn on the cob. A little butter and salt would go a long way.

Linark teaches you how to make a delicious Crab cooked with Coconut Milk, since that's all we got.

Fantastic
Yummy, thanks Linark.
Lini gives Droogami some meat and plays a bit of fetch with him and a coconut.

The beach is a bit empty now, so you gather your belongs, wrap up the leftovers in glamoured adamantium foil, and decide to head out. A quick ray of frost keeps the yummy crab in good shape for storage & travel.
You notice that there are some crops growing about half a mile inland. There is also a man made shelter further west and up the mountain, past the crops.
Rene Duquesnoy
|
A clearing in the jungle contains overgrown fields of some sort of corn. The crops have gone wild, creating a high barrier wafting gently in the breeze.
Rene Duquesnoy
|
Talfryn spots a slightly worn path through the cornfield.
info on cornfield:
* all difficult terrain
* total concealment past 5 ft
* over 8 ft high stalks
Talfryn
|
"Well, it appears there is some sort of path through the corn here." Talfryn says, drawing attention to the path to the rest of the group. "Perhaps we should follow it? Though if we did we'd be rather unprepared should something attack us, perhaps it'd be better to simply burn the whole field down." Of course he knows that the druid would never agree with that last suggestion.
Linark Abbadon
|
"Sure, everyone loves traps!"
Linark puts a hand on a small cut a crab made on him, and a glow of light comes forth from it, closing most of the wound and dissolving the blood.
