Darting past Manaria,, the Speaker keeps up their soft prayer-chanting, willing Sarenrae's Scarlet flames to rise once more up her blade. With practice she strikes at the Orange coated goblin dog.

The group quickly surrounds and dispatches the remaining goblins and their pesky dogs... before the group can catch their breath...

A group of goblins emerge from the forest to the east.... one of them larger than the others and foaming at the mouth...as if enraged...they all run towards the closest target, that of the hapless gnome Deldri since the boy farmer ran off a while ago...

Ceasing their sacred battledance as the goblins fall, the Speaker turns to at the noise to see a new mass of oncoming warriors. Seeing their hunger for Deldri, the Speaker of the Scarlet flame dashes towards the river and raises her blade, causing it to spark with Scarlet flame once more.
"Deldri! Where are all these corrupted souls flowing from? The Boneyards of Pharasma will swell with Goblinoids at this rate."
Daring them to appraoch, the Speaker readies a strike.

Deldri misses with his opportune attack on the yellow goblin

But brave Sammakko manages to knock the green goblin down with a vicious side kick...and Speaker strikes the red goblin leader as well...
Seeing their leader fall the remaining goblins withdraw back towards the other side of the river trying to get away...

"Though I am confident we will see them again, shooting them in the back as they run is less than sporting," she says.

The Speaker breathes heavily, clearly considering chasing down the Goblins and removing their foul taint from threatening any more of the townsfolk. Seeing sense and compassion in Eris' words however the Dancer of Sarenrae pauses and composes themselves.
"I agree it is poor, but to let these creature's run amok is a failing." She replies clearly conflicted.

The orange goblin runs to the wood line and the group loses the goblin in the trees.
Waiting for another attack the group stands ready to fight then realize the goblin waves are over. There are a score of goblin dead littering the area.
Searching the fallen for anything of use the group finds:

As the last goblin flees the scene of carnage, the Speaker wipes the ichor from the edge of their blade with a cloth, grimacing at the filth from their most recent foes. Amassing quite the horde of spoils from the defeated Goblinoids, the Speaker takes one of the healing potions and sips its contents, the scratches from the fight sealing under the restorative magics. Feeling better, they smile and takes some of the alchemical items dropped to help them in their continued defence of the town.
"Congratulations my friend, a great threat to the Town destroyed by us all. Now, shall we follow the Goblin that ran or return to the mayor?"
Will take an Alchemist's fire, tanglefoot and thunderstone. Will also drink ont he cure lights
