Speaker of the Scarlet Flame

Wincing at the crude detection method of their erstwhile crossboeman, the Speaker speaks with Samm. "Hmm there are such written about creatures in the ranks of Undeath. I believe Ustalav is rife with them..." they answer to the best of their knowledge.

Taking a deep breath as their Dance ends, the Speaker watches the demon's ichor burn from her blade with interest. Smiling despite herself at Wolfgang's tasteless joke, the Speaker of the Scarlet flame follows Eris and Deldri as they press on towards their goal.
"That creature, A Quasit? Is that a kind of Demon or other unholy denizen?" She asks with genuine interest.

You leave the market area and make your way to the warehouse in question.
The rusty front doors of this large, dingy warehouse are slightly ajar, as if someone forgot to close them entirely. Sprawled across the door and the southern side of the building are thick, disgusting, purplish-black strands that pulse with malevolence.
Wolfgang Strabe
|
"Guess what? Judging by the smears on the walls this should be the right place. Be careful... who knows what kind of demonically enanched pests we might encounter here?" whispers Wolfgang, before grinning widely.

A creature with this ability can nauseate the creatures that it damages. Any living creature that takes damage from a creature with negates the effect. Creatures with the nauseated condition experience stomach distress. Nauseated creatures are unable to attack, cast spells, concentrate on spells, or do anything else requiring attention. The only action such a character can take is a single move action per turn.

Sorry about the long delay, had a hectic long weekend.
Knowing his fists won't do anything to the insect swarm, Sammakko decides it best to just stay out of the way of the others. "Maybe this is payback for all the delicious dragonfly stews I ate as a kid."

"Samm, dear, those Spiders are undoubtedly infected by the bile and will be bad for you..." Speaker admonishes as they notice the bile coating their own leg with a grimace of disgust.
Using the flat of their scimitar, the Speaker burns away the bile from their leg. Looking at the pool of it they also run their Sword across it in a bid to expel it from this part of the warehouse.
"There is an awful lot of the Demonic Bile here, we should be particularly cautious."

"Let's hope you don't turn friend Sammakko... It would be a pity to be forced to put you down!" chuckles Wolfgang with another attempt at bad humor before friendly slapping Sammakko on the shoulders!

Torches in each corner of this large room shed dim flickering light between high columns of barrels and crates. Four large pillars support the ceiling. Purplish-black slime covers the eastern wall and much of the room’s southeast corner, stretching between the walls, pillars, and crates with long filaments. Countless shapes, varying greatly in size, crowd the sludge. Several of these shapes, pinned to the walls and crates or lying on the floor, appear human-sized. The group also hears some distant buzzing in the air on the far side.
Speaker of the Scarlet Flame

Cautiously making their way into the next room with their scimitar gripped tightly, casting their gaze warily around the warehouse's innards. With a gasp, the Speaker spies the humanoid shapes and focuses their eyes, using their natural ability to see in the dark to their advantage.
"Ahead appears to be humans in the bile, maybe the missing children... Does anyone hear that buzzing?" the Speaker whispers, cautiously stepping forwards.
