It's back guys, yes it is! Now go get 'em! Tumsy shouts as he draws his pistol. He then moves to cover to protect himself from flying thorns.

Hux struggles to fire his sonic gun causing the burst to miss by a wide margin even though he does have a clear shot at it. Jib begins marching into combat.

The creature, even though it appears to be weak willed is able to shrug off the worst of the effects of the mind thrust. 5 damage to red. I can't roll higher than a 5 to hit but can roll a 19 on saves.

Tool is able to sneak away from the group as he takes a successful shot at the enemy! The critter saw him sneaking away, but the shot still hit. 6 damage to red (don't forget your weapon specialization bonus on your damage roll for your weapon (at this level it is +1 for your gun and +3 for big guns))

This time, Katara's luck fails as he shoots one of the trees in the way rather than the enemy.

Alim follows suit and hits the same tree with his photon powered shock gun.

Tumsy gives everyone a helpful boost I retroactively took that into account and ran for cover.

The Ksarik is able to move through the trees effortlessly and is able to move right up to try and attack the woman who assaulted it's mind. It reaches out attacks with it's tentacles, hitting her! The attack hurts pretty back... but in a very unsettling way, the creatures eyes begin to shift... they now look like exact copies of Dahlia's eyes. 14 Bludgeoning damage to Dahlia

Tumsy is just a ball of encouragement to everyone, especially Dahlia.

Speaking of Dahlia, she manages to reach in and assult this plant creatures psych entity, this time breaking through it's defenses. 7 damage to red

Hux is able to squeeze off a shot between his two allies. This time,the sound blast is able to hurt the thing. 6 damage to red

Katara's assumption about hitting was right has he strikes twice with the gun, causing a decent amount of pain. 14 damage to red

Alim takes a step forward and swings at the ksarik, but the attack just barely misses the sweet spot. Instead, his light sword is deflected away rather than hitting.

Tool is able to unable to catch the creature off guard, but his shot is able to find it's mark. 2 damage to red

The Ksarik is clearly on it's last legs here, but still standing. It reaches out with it's tentacles to try pummel Jib twice! Both hit and hit hard! Jibs armor makes him take less of the effect, but it still is not good.27 damage to Jib. Reduced by 2 from DR so 25 in total.

WHile Jib is being smashed up by the nearly destroyed plant, Tool hears a second one coming up from behind.

Jib takes two stabs at the injured ksarik. The first stab doesn't go very well but the second finishes off the powerful plant. 9 damage to blue

Hux takes a shot but the it misses by a long shot.

Dahlia turns to the the new enemy and tries to assert her mind force over it. After a struggle, Dahlia is able to win and causing serous pain. 10 damage to blue

Alim takes advantage of Tumsy's encouragement and moves right at the new ksarik. He takes a swing, but his bad luck continues as the sword was easily deflected.

This time, Tool is able to hid, but his shot from hiding hits the tree instead of the plant monster.

Since Alim delivered a target right to it, the ksarik tries to batter him with multiple tentacles. The first is blocked by Alim's light armor, but the second one crushes him. 14 damage to Alim

Hux is struggling to keep using his controller for Jib while shooting and nearly drops his gun as a result.

That distraction from the boss seems to effect Jib as well as he charges in and strikes right into the enemy's armored skin rather cutting into it's vulnerable areas.

Alim on the other hand has a bit of a U-turn on his luck as he gets a pretty nasty slash against the enemy, leaving it on the doorway to death. 10 damage to Blue

This time, Tool is unable to hide from the enemy but his shot is able to hit! Even though the shot seemed particularly weak, it is enough to finish the enemy off.

As it dies, you hear a grunt from the woman on the ground. Dahlia is positive that if she didn't offer aid, she would of just died. But instead, she lives another day.

Releasing his solar sword, the light transfigures back into the orb shape, and floats to Alim's shoulder. Surveying the area, Alim nods at Dahlia's suggestion and begins to unpack the tent for the night.

After making sure the tent is pitched and that the wounded female is comfortable, Alim makes rounds to the bodies of the creatures the group had fought off earlier. Looking over their bodies, Alim ponders to himself about what other oddities they will encounter on the trip. Taking a moment at each of the creatures bodies, Alim says a small prayer and chant, helping to release their souls into the balance of the universe.

Upon his return to camp, Alim munches some more on the portable meal packs, recalling his early training days back home. The thought brings some comfort as he curls in for the night, getting some rest before his shift.

After a day of this injured woman complaining of her pain and bagging this devourer to take her soul, she seems to be getting better. After waiting for about half of the day she is able to get up and move on her own. She seems to in pain from moving too much and still exhausted but is in a state to travel. She seems to still be closed lipped even with the help you given her. To get any real info out of her, you will need to make an appropriate social check.

Since you are waiting the next day till the person recovers, you will only travel for 6 hour. Please make your travel checks for those six hours (armor plans and fort saves and Hux's survival check). Since you are stationary, you will not need to use your environmental protection for the last 5 hours of day 5 and the first 6 hours of day 6.
