What are your thoughts on Paladins/Anti-Paladins Michael? In particular the strict LG/CE alignment. Are we even bothering with alignment? could Smite/Detect Good be swapped out for something else? Detect Mythos? Smite Faithful
Since we are staying strictly RAW as much as possible, paladins must be LG in this campaign, but since legitimate law and order are tenuous and subjective at best in this setting, paladins will have a lot more leeway than usual.

Ok, four players is the minimum, and we might pick up one or two more in the next day or two. If no one joins with a healer, I will send Sister Maria's young Peace Corps friend along, Kate Peace (CG human female cleric 1), who seems to have developed a miraculous gift for healing injuries and illnesses.
I may also add a front-line tank for Lakra to flank with. Either Jewels (Orc barbarian 1) the super-hormonal hermaphrodite bioengineered super soldier who vents her frustrations with a big greatsword, or else Mako (Orc two-weapon warrior 1), shark-faced bioengineered super soldier who favors a pair of sawtooth sabres.

Or how about Prue Silversmith, Holy Gun who discovered diaries from her Grandfather (great-grandfather?) Walter Silversmith, a Professor at Miskatonic University who was involved with an expedition to the Antartic that ended disastrously (got to re-read At the MOuntains of Madness to see if there's a better link to it). Though she was no scholar she became fascinated by the beings he reffered to as Elder Things, and spent some time tracking down everything she could find about them. It lead her through many terrible places, and dark secrets before she discovered the being known as Ubbo-Sathla, believed to have been responsible for the genesis of life upon the earth.
When the Great One rose and terrors burst forth upon the earth she headed for a place of safety she had discovered, tied to the occult, Pandora's Box.
Doesn't fill the melee role, but can provide some healing.

Dr. Hugo Grimm was a reknown chemist who worked for the U.S. Government Defense Department and taught at Rutger's University, trying to enhance the physical prowess of soldiers through chemicals. His New Jersey home housed a secret lab in the basement despite his location in a beach front community. The explosion killed his family and he was also thought to have perished in the accident, when in fact luck found him pushed into an experimental crate coated with an anti-blast emulsion, being tested for use against IEDs.He fled the accident in shame heading south to Florida where he had hoped to start life over looking for work under an assumed identity as a lab assistant. His well-forged documentation landed him a position at Pandora's Box. The apocalypse arrived about the time he began to fall under scrutiny for some sketchy paperwork that appeared with a questionable social security number that was not as "clean" as the "salesman" assured it would be. It was a horrendous affair, but immediately shifted focus away from him and onto something bigger. He would grieve his wife and son daily, but survival was at his core. Armed with science, he was ready for whatever came next.

Prue contacted Professor Solomon Dirge at Arkham University a few years ago while researching her great-grandfather, and began an ongoing correspondence that culminated in her seeking out Pandora's Box after the s~++ hit the fan.

Ok, so:
Kinyama -- kitsune gunslinger
Radsworth -- human wizard
Mephos -- tiefling sorcerer
Lakra -- half-Orc rogue
Dr Grimm -- human alchemist
Prue -- halfling paladin
Kate -- human cleric
Jewels -- Orc barbarian
Looks like a pretty solid crew. I'm hitting the sack soon, but will be able to get things rolling a bit faster starting tomorrow evening. I'm digging your character concepts so far! :)

I saw one hit from him would do so if I didn't have Diehard or a good enough AC Yeah, But this is first level, for MOST people thats the case. And I wouldnt know because I see he added NPC's while also having like.. 7 people. There was also no indication... And He wanted a number before starting. Either way Derrik would be as I advertise.

I too am interested in this, have I just missed the boat?
Edit: I should say, I'd like to play an Aasimar Oracle of Lore and try and fill the roles of Healer / Encylopedia. I like the idea that an Outsider has come to see what happened to this plane.
Yes, go ahead and post your stats here, I'll work you in.

Sweet, we'll work him in. Do you have any fluff ideas for working him in yourself?

Well I have a few perhaps he was cruising the coast.. Hunting a creature after finding one of the few NON-cannibal families ravaged by it attacking them and the last person.. a mother dying saying it took her daughter. He is stealthy enough and his spellchoice is.. more survival than anything.
Or I could have come from a group that didnt return from scouting mission and have been hiding out.. Or anything you want. I'm game.. Also Check my Profile for a bit.
