Derrik dismounts from the poor beast of burden that had to endure his weight and armor the entire trip. He tussled its mane and gives it an extra helping in its feedbag and scans the area, then turning to Daisy

" Where did you see the creatures arise from? Which building Miss Feathers? "

Derrik's eyes and ears focus towards the town,

I actually forgot how you handled spellslots for spontaneous casters but if possible he will cast See Invisibility

Eagle-Feather points west down Allen Street to The Oriental Saloon.

In there, Sir Derrik....

What is my attack bonus if I start off invisible? I saw it once and now I can't find it.

Grimm uses the scroll to turn himself invisible.

I have a plan. Let me walk in there invisible, and put oil of taggit in his drink. Ir that don't work, I'll just stab him in the neck.

Grimm uses the scroll to turn himself invisible.

If you are attacking an opponent that can't see you, the opponent is considered flat-footed to you. Of course, once you attack, you become visible.

After becoming invisible, Grimm applies drow poison to his dagger. Second round action

Female Human (Navajo) Cleric 20; Mythic Hierophant tier 10; hp 176

Using the scrolls given them from the chapel vault, Eagle-Feather and Kate cast protection from evil on Koran, Krar, Derrik, and Dwayne Lee, which grants them a +2 bonus to AC and saves against attacks made by evil creatures.

Female Human Cleric 6

Be careful, baby.... Kate whispers to Grimm as she kisses him and casts shield other on him.

Female Human (Navajo) Cleric 20; Mythic Hierophant tier 10; hp 176

The clerics use the chapel scrolls to cast align weapon on the favored weapons of Koran (earth breaker), Krar (temple sword), Derrik (Dawnbringer, since Excalibur is already good-aligned), and Dwayne Lee (AR-15), aligning them with good.

Male Human (Dwarfblood/Infused) Inquistor 12/ Paladin of Vengence 4 / Chevalier 3| Mythic Guardian-Champion 9 (Lvl 19)

" I advise we prep a bit before you enter.. as I see you now. they could as well.. Perhaps you should be hidden as we cause a distraction, you using that time to find out the locations of our allies and their well being and perhaps any other weaknesses the enemy may have while we are in the thick of battle with us. That should give you time and opportunity. I also advise.. I weather the first possible afflictions.. I rather Koran not be swayed by them as soon as we engage"

You also get a +2 to hit from Invis

Human Male Alchemist Beastmorph 18 Trickster 8 AC 28/19/21; HP 122/122; INIT +25; Per +24; FORT 10/REF 14/ WILL 9; CMB +14;CMD 33

I agree. If I get a chance at the boss, I'm going to take it though.

After Grimm is invisible and his dagger is drawn and poisoned, his third arm grabs the flask of oil of taggit. Grimm waits for the signal to enter the saloon once the distraction begins.

Wouldn't it be great if I could sneak an explosive in his cigar.

Radsworth and Mephos use the scrolls given them from the library to cast darkvision and fly on all 8 FOs, and invisibility and see invisibility on Derrik, Krar, Koran, and Dwayne Lee.

When all are ready to strike, Radsworth uses the haste scroll to hasten Derrik, Krar, Koran, Grimm, and Dwayne Lee.

So mr withers what brought you and your lovely friends to tombstone?

You might say it was faith that brought me here, Mister Yingzen.... Faith in the destiny promised to me by my goddess.... Shub-Niggurath.... The Black Goat of the Woods With a Thousand Young.... She has been leading me here to find a great source of wealth and power.... She has promised to enrich her humble servant, and so I have followed where she led me....to this place.... Tombstone.... Such a morbid name for a town, don't you think?

Withers tokes the hookah and blows rings of smoke through the air....

And you have come to see what has become of this little town since the....change in management, so to speak?.... I'm curious.... Are you lone survivors, seeking a place to make a new start? Or were you sent by a larger group of some kind?

male tengu swordmaster (Rogue) lv 19 trickster tier 9

he looks at withers with a strong gaze

Tombstone is slightly morbid but yet it also rings of lasting remembrance. I am but one of a kind helping out some friends

Male Human (Navajo) Two-weapon warrior 8

Greg Bear-Strong, who has awakened from his enchanted slumber, sits at the table with a sullen look on his face and a hand of cards....

Poker check 1d20 ⇒ 16

Man.... We are so screwed....

Male Rakshasa Outsider 10

My goddess has led me to many great fortunes in the past.... She is generous to those who serve her well, you see.... And I have always served her very well.... Many are the sacrifices I have made in her divine name.... I have spilt an ocean of blood to appease her.... And in return, I am favored with a most rewarding life.... My luck at cards is the least sign of my goddess' favor.... I have also been blessed with revelations of great prosperity, for Shub-Niggurath is a goddess of fecundity and genesis.... A fertility goddess, Mother of a Thousand Young.... She blesses the crops of her faithful....and blights the crop of the heretic....

As Withers speaks, a metamorphosis gradually takes place.... His pale, gaunt, human face begins to change into the bestial visage of a white Bengal tiger, with long, white whiskers and black on white stripes.... His hands seem to rotate outward to an unnatural degree, until it seems that they are attached backwards.... When he speaks again, his voice is deeper, darker, and more bestial....

I hope you truly appreciate the....great honor....that comes with being sacrificed to Shub-Niggurath.... It is a very rare honor, indeed.... To ensure the richness of the season's crops with ones blood is a noble and beautiful thing, my friends.... And while I must confess that I have no skill as a farmer.... I do intend to harvest the fruits of my devotion in a way more meaningful and appropriate to my nature....

M Human unchained monk 8/paladin 6

Initiative rolls, please....

male tengu swordmaster (Rogue) lv 19 trickster tier 9

it may be an honor but I have to humbly decline the offer, also I am going to decline the invite for your little guests also

his voice is steady and matter of fact like as he speaks

you see I just don't think me or my friends or the others being a sacrifice is a good career or life movement. i hear it is a dead end career.

You would be more comfortable without that heavy weapon hanging at your side, don't you think?

Withers casts suggestion on Yingzen, DC 16 to resist....

I suggest you remove your weapon belt and tuck it under your chair.... You won't be needing it here....

Invisibly, Dwayne trots up onto the porch of The Oriental Saloon and peers through the window in the door, observing the proceedings taking place within....

The robed and veiled Mister Leng produces a small prism from a pocket and mutters an incantation, casting hypnotic pattern on the poker table, enveloping Levinson, Yingzen, and Bear-Strong.... DC Will 17 to resist being fascinated.
