Human crewmate of The Kraken |

After Krar:
The burnt, slashed, and shot-up crew stand on their last legs, but they keep firing their submachine guns....
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 1d10 ⇒ 10 deals 10 damage to Koran....

Krar the Panther |

krar runs right past the men provoking an AoO from each of them.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Attack 2: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Attack 3: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
the last two hit giving the crew a -2 to attack and damage.

Human crewmate of The Kraken |

On his turn, Grimm goes down to two bombs as he launches the last one at the resistant vermin
The firebomb bursts on Grimm's previous target, and he screams even louder!
His two compatriots try to dodge the flaming oil that splashes at them....
Reflex save 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20 for half splash damage, 3 fire....
Reflex save 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16 for half splash damage, 3 fire....

Mephos's scorpion releases a shocking grasp into a crew members ankle.

Human crewmate of The Kraken |

::round 1::
Mephos's scorpion releases a shocking grasp into a crew members ankle.::round 2::
mehpos shoots a scorching ray at a crew member
Mephos scorpion scuttles up to a crewmate, taps his ankle with its charged stinger, causing the man to scream and jerk as electricity briefly grants an X-ray view of his skeleton....
Mephos sends a ray of fire searing into the same crewmate, and he screams, nearly finished....

Human crewmate of The Kraken |

Round 3 actions:
The despairing crew mates only now think to start shouting for back-up (though the gunfire and screaming certainly serve the same purpose). All three remaining crewmates shout in German: Achtung!! Kommen sie hier, schnell! Schnell!
Submachine gun 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 1d10 ⇒ 1 grazes Koran for 1 damage....
Submachine gun 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 1d10 ⇒ 3 grazes Krar for 3 damage....

Dwayne Lee Hooker DM substitute |

These Nazi bastards are tough, I'll give 'em that!
AR-15 with PBS 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 16 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16 drops the crewmate who was just shocked by Mephos' scorpion and then burnt by Mephos' scorching ray....
Two crewmates still put up a desperate, losing fight....

Kate Peace |

Ow! That last one hurt, Derrik!
Kate channels to keep her boys healthy....3d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 3) = 13 damage healed to all wounded PCs....
I can muster up a few more of those, but I need a good night's sleep before I can cast any more specific non-healing divine spells, boys.... We might need to hit and run, if there are more of these hard-asses coming....

Dr. Hugo Grimm |

While not hit, Grimm doubles over in pain as his familiar rips itself from his side like a love handle come to life. The ugly biped hisses, then makes quick movement at one of the gun man.

Derrik Stonesmith |

Derrik doesn't seem to even feel the bullet wound as the necromantic veil Radsworth bestowed upon him earlier takes effect, he does however note Kate's plight..
" Than I shall make this quick, Lady Kate! Die you Oppressive vermin!"
Derrik swings With Dawnbringer first opening the way for Excalibur to slice into the Crewman deeper
Twin Dawnbringer Chop: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 181d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Twin Excalibur Slash: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 201d8 + 6 + 2d6 ⇒ (6) + 6 + (4, 2) = 18

[dice=Twin Dawnbringer Chop]1d20+2; 1d8+4
[dice=Twin Excalibur Slash]1d20+2; 1d8+6+2d6
The crewmate screams as Dawnbringer hews through his Kevlar into flesh, and his screams are forever silenced when Excalibur opens the same cut deep to the bone! The crewmate falls silent to the floor....

Derrik Stonesmith |

As he cuts the man down with such vigor it occurs to Derrik that this is the first other human being he has had to cut down since the cannibals and assassins... and even then the cannibals were commanded by otherworldly demons or insane; the assassins most likely overwhelmed by power. These humans... were in complete control of their mental faculties and chose to serve evil... and it sickened him to realize this fact. They deserved their fate, yet it reminded him of how our race seemed to fight one another... this war would be of little difference.. even with the entire race in peril. Perhaps Radsworth was correct... fr humanity to survive.. there must be a new humanity..
That last thought leaving his mind as he placed his mailed boot to the Crewmans' Chest to kick his still corpse off of Excalibur.

Human crewmate of The Kraken |

Krar slashes at the man.
[dice=attack]1d20+8[dice=damage]1d8+4
[dice=crit]1d20+8[dice=damage]1d8+4
Krar's blade cuts through trench coat, kevlar vest, and flesh, spilling a gout of blood and causing the lone crewmate to roar in pain.... He staggers, as if swooning, fighting to remain conscious and keep his submachine gun trained on Krar....

Human crewmate of The Kraken |

After Koran (who I'm assuming will destroy the wounded crewmate before he gets to act, so he won't be included in this post):
Four more men in black trench coats with the red fangs insignia, armed with submachine guns, rush into the room through a doorway in the west wall!
(Double move into the room.)

Human crewmate of The Kraken |

[dice=PA]1d20+12[dice=Damage]3d6+15
Koran brings his hammer down upon the remaining crew members head. Probably breaking his neck and killing him instantly.
Ja, vut he said....
The earth breaker breaks the crewmates cranium into its component bones (parietals, occipital, frontal, maxillary, temporal, etc) with a loud CRACK!! The corpse falls to the floor....

Prof. Naomi Levinson |

Back in Arizona's Grand Canyon:
After weeks of horrific travel and battle, Levinson is actually taken aback by the beauty and scope of the Grand Canyon. It was almost enough to take her mind off of the fact that her motorcycle's drive chain broke and her supply of gas is nothing but fumes. After taking her most of the way across the continent starting back in Connecticut, the "uniquely acquired" Ducati was at the end of its life in a world without available mechanics.
"Well... At least that was a dream come true for a while. Too bad I could only get to ride one after the world ended..."
With an audible exhale, Levinson threw her dufflebag over her shoulder and began to trek along the canyon's edge with revolver in hand.
"I hate the desert..."

While The Fierce Ones are engaged in their battles against the dominated Nazi thralls of the Vampire Von Ulrik in flooded London, and Merlin is engaged in magical battle against Morgan Le Fey, in Arizona, a band of equitable heroes gathers to investigate rumors of an evil sorcerer named Coal Withers, said to have enslaved the entire surviving population of Tombstone, AZ with the aid of his twin scarecrow bodyguards, a succubus, and a lamia....
Professor Naomi Levinson, Yingzen, and a Navajo couple, Greg Bear-Strong and Daisy Eagle-Feathers, have been asked by Chief Paul Running-Wolf to spy on Tombstone and find out if this rumor is true....

Michael Johnson 66 |

In the predawn hours of April 17th, the same day The FOs are adventuring in England, the Heroic Spies ride into Tombstone, quietly....
It looks like a classic ghost town from The Old West, causing The HS to wonder if it looked this way prior to the Cthulhu Apocalypse, or if it had that appearance in common with most small towns that had suffered the depredations of Cthulhu's hordes and cultists....

Prof. Naomi Levinson |

Levinson mutters to herself "These things smell so much worse than I imagined..."
She quickly casts Summon Monster to bring forth a Lantern Archon (+4 Str/+4 Con).
"Ok, little guy, we have five minutes. I need you to scout out what you can. And please don't get yourself hurt."
The glowing ball of green light pulses yellow with understanding (Note: they have true speech) and flies off into the town silently with astonishing speed.

Isn't summon monster I a round/level duration?

He gazes around alert, seeking signs of other life forms.

One thing catches Yingzen's eye.... Two things, actually.... Two scarecrows stand at a junction of roads in the town before what appears to be a bar or casino of some kind called The Oriental Saloon....

Prof. Naomi Levinson |

Sorry, should have clarified I'm using one of spell-like abilities, not the normal version of the spell.
