I don't want to go first... so can I sign up to run The Monolith? - puts me smack in the middle if we go in order...
As for characters, since we have to play pregens... I think I'd like to play Estra, the Spiritualist, or Quinn, the investigator. I've never played Estra before so it might be fun to learn a new class... and I just love playing investigators, so I'd be happy with either one.

I am not playing, but just wanted to add another “Way to go!” to VL Hmm …
AND register my interest in a future game run by GM JAFO (when you’re ready, Lore. No pressure :)
You actually don't need pregens for this! Tonya and John opened both this and Silverhex to your own first level characters.
That said... The advantage of pregens is that their gear automatically replenishes each episode, and you can try out different pregens each time if you want to get a chance to play with a class you've never tried before each time.
Do you all want to do this with the pregens or with your own first level characters?
So... JAFO has volunteered for Monument. Should we just roll for everyone else? By the way, GM Bearington is soooo cute!
Checking in! I'm happy to roll to see who runs the remaining sections. As far as who/what to play goes, I'd personally prefer to play my own character but I'm also cool with playing pregens if it's all or nothing and more people want to do pregens :)
Much as I'd like to play one of my own, all my 1st lvls are all involved in games, except for 2 which are registered but not fully fleshed out yet, so I'm going to use Estra, at least for the first quest... If I like her, I'll continue with her, otherwise, I'll switch out for another.
We can totally do a mixed group of pregens and real characters if you want. The first level characters do not have to be Zero XP.
So, let's roll for sections:
Bearington:1d5 ⇒ 2
Bearington, you got "Harrow" which I actually like to run as the first quest because it introduces a party to Dunhob with a bit of RP, a prophecy and then a chance to problem solve. Would you be good with going first?
Ietsuna:1d4 ⇒ 4
Four would normally be "Monolith" which has already been taken. You get "University!" This gives you a chance for some RP, some weirdness with an office and a bit of combat in a glass hot house.
Ladile:1d3 ⇒ 3
Oh, you get the "Manor"! That's a great one for a bit of atmosphere and some fun low level combats.
So that leaves Thinking Flesh and Of Anything. One of you gets to craft the closing episode with the crazy psychic plant, and one of you get a scene in the wilderness with the nutty professor.
Let's roll to see which one of you gets to close us out. OfAnything, you're heads. ThinkingFlesh, you're tails.
Coin Flip 1 is heads:1d2 ⇒ 2
OfAnything gets "Lightning" with the nutty professor. ThinkingFlesh, you get "Epicenter".
Sounds good to me! I'll be thinking on what character I want to play; I've got an idea for a witch character that I've been wanting to make but I've also got plenty of other options as well :D
Thanks Hmmm. University you say. I'll have a read of it while the boss isn't looking (I just started work for the day).
I also have a couple of options for characters. I have a brand spanking new War Drummer Skald or a brand spanking new Living Grimoire Inquisitor and I have kinda been wanting to make a bard.
GM Choon, do you want to play along as a character? Today is my crazy Wednesday, so I'll be back later tonight with our first homework assignments and maybe a discussion of the oddities of PFS play.
Okay, I'm amused. I pulled the order of the quests from the listing in the handouts section. Turns out Harrow is the very first quest listed, after all. Oh, well. But your assignments still hold.
___
HOMEWORK!
So... Homework Assignments for the GM Six:
1) Please download Phantom Phenomena, if you haven't already.
2) I'd like you to read the background information in the first part of Page 3, and then read all of your assigned section and the handout that corresponds to your section.
Some of you guys are experienced GMs, and probably already know how to read a PFS scenario. Others are just starting out. When I started, I found prepping some scenarios to be a tremendous hurdle.
For those of you new to PFS GMing, standard scenarios usually have several key parts:
An adventure background with a fabulous backstory, full of information that your players may never discover. (In PbP, where there's more time, I sometimes look for ways of leaking some of this, or bringing it out.). It can be really interesting to read this section, but it's also sometimes very frustrating because the writers haven't provided a way for the players to get this juicy backstory. The backstory becomes most useful in giving your NPCs mtivations and your setting a bit more life.
An adventure summary. This is where the authors spell out the main parts of the upcoming adventure, and what the PCs are supposed to accompish.
Getting Started (usually, with a mission briefing). Here is an in-character way for the party to learn about your mission. In a PFS scenario, one of the Venture Captains tells the party to go someplace and do X.
What you know before you go! The players get a chance to roll for some of the information that their VC forgot to tell them about.
Various Acts where they travel and do stuff. The first act usually introduces the players to the setting, have them interact with it, and sets up the problems that face the party. Sometimes there's roleplay. Sometimes there's combats.
A dramatic conclusion with an end boss, and / or further revelations.
Assessment, Chronicles and Reporting. Did they make the primary and secondary success conditions? Did they earn some of the boons on the chronicle sheets? In seasons 5 and up, there may also be lettered reporting check boxes that can influence the ongoing story for PFS.
___
Okay, that's cute, Hilary. What does this have to do with our quests?
Each of these quests, in addition to being part of an ongoing story, is sort of a mini-adventure. There's adventure backstory. There's an adventure summary. There's (kinda sorta) a mission briefing in the form of Dr. Quolorum's letters -- the handouts at the back. Some of the quests even have built in "know before you go" skill checks. There's a thin bit of setting, some box text, things to explore and monsters to fight.
One of the things that I love about Phantom Phenomena is that it has good bones. It gives you a pretty good base story with some atmosphere, but it has lots of places that would be enriched by the GM adding details, or bringing characters like the nutty professor to life. It is also fairly loosely written, allowing player characters to use different skills to accomplish things like breaking into the 'Lucky Lantern.'
I want you to read your quest and look for places where you can bring out story and enrich setting. Can you add a sound or a smell description to make things a bit more vivid? Is there a place where you want to really bring out a bit of spooky atmosphere?
Another thing to consider is the "Mission Briefing." The handouts were designed as a way to give a convention GM who was just handed this quest series a way to quickly brief characters. You can use the letters, or you could have the mission delivered in character by the good professor. Or... you can do what GMs frequently do when adapting modules to PFS. Add a quick in character briefing from a favorite NPC Venture Captain, and then provide the letter.
What I want you to do, basically, is consider the little quest you've been given, and think a bit about what you can do with it. Try to go for few piquant details rather than having a wall of description. The point is to pull the characters into the setting, and give them a place to play.
It is GREAT stuff, though I think the single most important thing in there is "Finish what you start." You're going to make mistakes. (I just did, in misrembering which quest went first.). We all make them. Give yourself permission to make mistakes, learn from them and move on.
I think by Sunday I should be able to have it together. How do I set up a thread with tabs and all that? This is in Painlord's Guide, don't worry about this.
EDIT: WAIT! This: "Shall we walk you through some basic prep steps of the things I like to set up before I start?" just sank in. I would like a quick break down of what you like to set up. I know what I think I need/what I do for F2f games, but some structure for a PbP game would be appreciated.
Do you have specific questions that I can answer about GMing in PFS, or do you want me and the other folks in the group to just talk about PFS oddities that can surprise you at first as a GM?
EDIT: WAIT! This: "Shall we walk you through some basic prep steps of the things I like to set up before I start?" just sank in. I would like a quick break down of what you like to set up. I know what I think I need/what I do for F2f games, but some structure for a PbP game would be appreciated.
Prepping for Games:
There's the same basic prep that I would do for Face to Face games:
1) Read the adventure.
2) Look to see if ANYONE ELSE had done prep, either in the PFS Prep site or in the PFS GM forum.
1) Either in recruitment or in discussion, collect reporting data from your players. Most GMs do this with an application form.
My Application Form:
Player's forum handle: Character name: PFS# Race/Class(es)/Level(s): Faction: Day Job Roll, if any:
____
1) Any special rules, boons, or corner cases you need to let me know about:
2) A few sentences about your character and his or her previous adventures, both out of character and in character as your character would describe him or herself. Why are you in the society?
3) May I bot you in combat or for an occasional skill check to ensure a fast moving game?
4) What are your go-to combat tactics for botting purposes?
(Feel free to also include this on your character sheet, where you can even have your dice rolls ready to go.)
5) Will you be able to post 2-3 times a day on average, barring occasional days off (Cons, Work, Short Vacations, etc?)
I like to set posting expectations early, and get those job rolls upfront.
____
2) Set up a google drive folder with everything I think I'll need in it.
Stuff I put in there:
A copy of the scenario, so that I can refer to it if on the road.
Any helpful materials I found on PFS Prep.
A google doc with player initiative and perception blocks. This doc also includes any posts that I want to compose in advance.
The slide show I use for maps.
There may be other things too, but those are the main ones that I set up.
um... you lost me on step 2... how do you do that? I have no clue - I told you i'd be technology challenged... maps and such are going to be my downfall, I'm afraid...
Hmmm...this seems like very bad design in the module. The primary battle map given for my part has the locations of the monsters hardcoded in, and a giveaway of one of their names written in big letters across the entryway where the PCs will have to go first.
How can I get a good map without a lot of bad Photoshop work?

Nearly right!
You are gonna look back in a month or two and laugh that you had doubts.
I had similar trepidation at the start.
Lore, you create wonderful artwork, sometimes by experimenting and creating, and sometimes by following a pattern/guide, right?
This is really no different. You just have to learn how to do it.

Thanks for letting me know where you have trouble. I want to know anytime you need more explanation (or a different and more clear explanation.)
The second step of making a google drive folder to keep everything together is optional. It's more of an organizational thing than anything else! JAFO, do you use google for anything (like gmail?) If so, you already have a google drive account. Google drive is free and convenient, but you don't have to organize yourself there.
What are you using for a computer set-up? We can take this one step at a time!

Great question!
These images have layers. You can extract the underlying image to get one without all the markings on it. So you would you like some steps for trying image extraction and making a slide show?

And the good news is you have a GREAT teacher.
Now, go do your homework ;)
Thank you for that vote of confidence!
Eadie and Choon and other GMs reading along, if you have tips, feel free to share them! I would love to have others chiming in! Also, if you figure out how to do something, feel free to help someone else too. I want you all helping each other as we go.
JAFO, if you have Windows the Snipping Tool is one of the little utilities that comes with the system. Usually it can be found in "Accessories" in your Start Menu but you can do a search for "Snipping Tool" if you don't see it. The icon is a pair of scissors with a red circle.
It's small but very useful.
If your copy of Phantom Phenomena is password protected I suggest downloading another copy. It's free.
Just so I can get a feel for it and what I should play, what is everyone else thinking of playing?
In other news I have been roped into GMing my first Face-to-Face game this weekend for a group of friends. They have never played Pathfinder before, a couple have played D&D so we'll be kind of learning together.
I'm working on making a witch and will probably play that unless we end up sorely lacking in some other area :)
Also I'm going to be working on the technical aspects of the homework this evening so if I figure anything handy out about the maps and such I'll be sure to post it here!
Finally, good luck on the game Ietsuna! I'm sure you'll do great and I hope everyone has a great time :)
If you're looking for a great low-level adventure with a mix of roleplay and interesting combat, Murder's Mark is excellent -- though it may be more work to prep than a simple dungeon crawl.
We Be Goblins is awesome, though and through! I adore its mix of puzzles, games and combat. It is such a well-written module.
GM Ietsuna wrote:

If Choon decides not to play, I think I may come in with a vigilante, just so I can keep wearing a mask.
Group has decided on Black Fang's Dungeon. Happily I have the pawns and the map from the beginner's box so that will make prep a little less stressful.
Alright. Jafo, I want you to create a slide show. While signed into Google, go to slides.google.com.
Let's start with that step.
That will give us a destination for your extracted map.

Oh, and as you can tell from my header, Bearington's gameplay is ready for dot-and-delete. You can follow the link in my header to Bearington's campaign.

Oh, I do have one tip for the start – that I learnt the hard way!
If you are the GM that created the Gameplay thread, DO NOT dot-and-delete your first Gameplay post!
It totally bjorks Gameplay, so that nobody (including you) can post there until the Paizo moderators unlock and reset it.
The awesome Ms Chris Lambertz sorted mine out quickly, efficiently and patiently after I e-mailed her, but I think she would be getting sick of doing this ;)
I've pasted the link into the name portion of my alias' profile, but it isn't showing up when I post. Are there minimum character requirements to have it do that? Also, how do I put information below the title of my campaign (the space above the thread tabs)?
Are you looking to get into PFS Play-by-Post GMing, but unsure where to start? Do you think you might be a great GM, but find the mechanics of PbP slightly intimidating? Would you welcome the opportunity to learn as you go, GMing something short?
Welcome to the first ever session of Play-by-Post GM 101! I'll be taking 5 new GMs through a Quest Series. Each quest is a short mini-adventure that joins up with the other quests in its series to tell a more full tale. Everyone gets one of the quests to GM. We all take turns being players and GMs, and discuss how to handle things as we go. In the end, everyone gets a full chronicle that they can apply to a first level character, and their own GM credit.
For the quest series, I’ve selected Phantom Phenomena because each of its quests are nicely balanced between RP and combat. Also, you can bring your own first level characters through it.
What will you do in GM 101?
I want you to be comfortable with both the storytelling and the mechanics of GMing Play-by-Post. We’ll talk about common formatting, handling attacks of opportunity, and ways to keep the pace moving. These will include PbP oddities such as blocked initiative, botting and spoilered text.
Everyone involved will:
Create their own gameplay thread for their particular quest.
For the sake of group discussion, I would like you all to link back to the discussion thread in THIS campaign thread, so that we can have a unified discussion as we progress.
Create their own slide show and extract their own map.
Help each other. If you figure something out, share what you learned and coach the others!
Read their own quest and prep it.
This won’t be tough! All statblocks will be included in with the quest series!
GM their own quest for the group.
Ask me questions as we go!
Give each other positive feedback and cheer each other on!
Get your own GM event number and report your own event!
Create a chronicles for someone else in the group, just to get the experience of filling out a PDF chronicle.
Can we do this all simultaneously to save time?
Alas, no. I want everyone to have the full group’s attention when it’s their turn to GM. Also, PFS has the rule that characters can be in only one game at a time.
How long do you think this will take?
I am hoping that we will take less than week per quest. To this end, I am requiring a posting speed of two posts per day from everyone who participates. I want us this to be a fast moving experience for everyone, and a positive learning experience.
Who are you, and why are you teaching this?
I’m Hilary Moon Murphy, the current Venture Lieutenant in charge of PFS Play-by-Post gaming. I want prospective GMs to overcome their hurdles, have a good time, and get the confidence to start their own games! Besides, I think GMing is awesome. It gives us all a great way to have a good time and give back to our community!
____
Interested? Here are my questions for you:
What makes you want to GM Play-by-Post?
Have you GMed before? What sort of GMing did you do?
If you have GMed before, what do you see as your strengths?
Think back on GMs that you have had before. Without naming names, tell us about one thing you liked about a previous GM’s PbP style. How did that assist your game?
I want to GM play by post so I can give back to the community that has catered to me being a player for so long. I also would like to get better at roleplaying and gming provides a multitude of characters to RP in a medium that suports it.
I have GMed home games and PFS. I am currently a 1-star PFS GM. When you ask "What sort," what exactly do you mean?
When it comes to GMing, I like to think my strengths are flexibility and utilizing unique builds/tactics in combat. I try to play opponents how they would fight and not always what the most optimized tactic is.
One thing I really liked about a previous GM's style is rolling proactively for the players (when it is reasonable to do so). Games can grind to a crippling pace when we wait for everyone to roll perception every room, or to roll initiative every combat.
I asked what sort of GMing because I was curious about experience levels and whether people have GMed in other systems. I'm also completely open to those who have never GMed, too.
I just want to know where everyone is who wants to try this out.
I have never GMed anything. I have only been playing Pathfinder for 9 months or so, but would like to be able to GM should the need arise. My FLGS PFS group occasionally is scratching for GMs and it would be nice to give back both in person and on the boards by running games for people.
I specifically would like to learn to GM on PbP so that I have time to look up any rules that I am a bit fuzzy on and not hold up a table for half an hour or more.
Previous PbP GMs that I have liked have been responsive, making posts regularly and keeping the games moving at a nice pace. This kept everyone engaged and kept the game for bogging down.
I would like to GM here for fun, to learn how to do it (maps and such primarily), and to hone my pf GM skills.
I have been GMing since D&D came out in 1974. I've GM'd just about every system there is at least once or twice, including my own system, which I ran for about 18 years, but primarily D&D (orig., AD&D 1st ed, 2nd ed, 3.5) and VtM. I've run online before - but that was on irc for several years (VtM and D&D), as well as organized play face to face (Living City and Living Greyhawk). Just finished RotRL at home, which took about 2 1/2 years to run, and I'm ready to start trying to run pfs online.
My strengths? Wow.. that's a tough one... I've been told I'm good at keeping a narrative going and being descriptive, as well as reacting to the unexpected fairly and appropriately.
Something I particularly liked from a previous GM in pbp... that's tough one... I've seen a lot of variation in pbp gm's... good and bad and everything in between. Worst was GM disappearing mid-game.. hated that, and won't do it as a GM. Best is tougher to recall... I do like it when GM's call combats that are foregone conclusions and will just take up time to end the same way regardless... I also liked when the GM expelled a disruptive and annoying player (not pfs though). I especially enjoy GM's who get descriptive with responses rather than just 'X hit, Y missed, Z fell down the pit.' I hope I can be as skilled when I run.
What makes you want to GM Play-by-Post?
Have you GMed before? What sort of GMing did you do?
I have GM'd PbP here on the boards for several years now and I'm looking to expand my options beyond modules into PFS material. I've done GMing at all levels of play including 20th lvl. My highest lvl PFS character is currently third level, done completely on these boards.
If you have GMed before, what do you see as your strengths?
I am generally a fair adjudicator who has been known to bend the rules for the sake of the story- though I realize that wouldn't happen in PFS. I generally hear that I give good descriptions and play NPC's well.
Think back on GMs that you have had before. Without naming names, tell us about one thing you liked about a previous GM’s PbP style. How did that assist your game?
I had one GM who was a master at propelling a game along without it feeling forced. I wish I could do that as well as he could. He gave rich descriptions that made every rock seem interesting and I still look back at that thread from time to time. He disappeared shortly after we began, unfortunately.
What makes you want to GM Play-by-Post? I've been playing for a couple years, and it's time to give back to the community. Also, some recent experience in F2F GMing makes me more confident than I was before.
Have you GMed before? What sort of GMing did you do? I am currently GMing a face-to-face game every week, using Skull & Shackles to launch off into a custom adventure.
If you have GMed before, what do you see as your strengths? I've tried being super-prepared before, but I find that I'm better at seat-of-the-pants flying, since players always find a way to avoid that city you created with the bartenders who all had backstories in favor of exploring the wilderness you mentioned casually in passing. I take an "everyone is here to have fun" attitude, so Rule Of Cool has a pretty good chance of swaying me.
Think back on GMs that you have had before. Without naming names, tell us about one thing you liked about a previous GM’s PbP style. How did that assist your game? What I have found most useful is an initiative report with every GM post during combat, like this:
(bold may act)
Durkon (Bless 3/4), Belkar (-53, bleeding), Elan
Vampire Half-Dragon Butterfly
Haley, Roy
Also, links in the GM's header to the current battle map, etc., are very handy.
I was not anticipating this much interest from experienced GMs! Cool beans! Welcome, everyone!
GM Choon, this is aimed at PbP beginner GMs... Are you still interested? Phantom Phenomena is light, silly and very easy to run -- but so chock full of flavor that I ADORE running it.
Time to finally hitch up my pants and give GMing a go...whether on this first session or the next if this one is already full :)
What makes you want to GM Play-by-Post?
Lots of things. I've been a player on PbP for three years now and PFS PbP for maybe a year and 1/2 and it seems that there's always plenty of players but not enough GMs. After having so many good experiences here, it's time to see what I can do to help spread the love and maybe even repay some of the folks who've GMed for me in the past.
Have you GMed before? What sort of GMing did you do?
Truth be told, I've never GMed a thing - PbP or F2F.
If you have GMed before, what do you see as your strengths?
Hard to answer this since I've never GMed, but I like to think that my general enthusiasm for Pathfinder will push me to make sure that my players have a good time.
Think back on GMs that you have had before. Without naming names, tell us about one thing you liked about a previous GM’s PbP style. How did that assist your game?
I've had a lot of great GMs that offer very clear, concise statements about what to expect at their table - posting frequency, general style of play, how they handle combat, potential absences or slow days, etc. The more information a GM can give up front as to how they run things, the easier it is for prospective players to decide if such a GM would suit their own playstyle preferences or not. The more communicative in general a GM is able to be, the better the game tends to be for it - in my experience.
While I do have experience I'm pbp, PFS specific GMing is very intimidating to me. I feel that getting lead through the first time will be the thing that gets me going. I doubt it'll happen on its own due to that intimidation factor. If you feel my experience disqualifies me, however, I completely understand.
I have less time than I used to for GMing face-to-face, but I'd like to put this PFS scenario subscription to use. I love PbP for the depth it can offer.
Have you GMed before? What sort of GMing did you do?
I have! Mostly face-to-face with a toe dipped into VTT.
If you have GMed before, what do you see as your strengths?
I like to give each player a bit of the spotlight through effective pacing and scenario.
Think back on GMs that you have had before. Without naming names, tell us about one thing you liked about a previous GM’s PbP style. How did that assist your game?
I've had the pleasure of playing with one of the best PFS GMs on the boards. I love how she fleshes out the red text descriptions to bring the world alive and provide individualized character interaction points.
Edit: @Choon What specifically is intimidating about the PFS process? This experience might be useful if you aren't confident GMing from a published source. It is probably not the best for learning about reporting.
@Choon - I think that's actually pretty sound reasoning - PFS is a different animal from other games and it looks like quite a few people have trouble getting adjusted to doing the technical/paperwork stuff that comes with it. That or having to adjust to running things by the book, so to speak.
When I started playing PFS on the forums my very first game ever was a multi-table run of The Confirmation that was meant to be for PFS -and- PbP newbies only but a friend spoke on my behalf and convinced the GM to make space for my character at one of the tables, even though I was only new to PFS and not PbP itself. So for what it's worth, I think it makes sense to want some help getting into running PFS even if you've already got prior experience running games on the forums :)
Choon, how would you feel about riding along through the bits on PFS oddities, reporting, event submission, etc? I'm not sure you need the full course, but I would love to have you as a lurker, commenter, and helper. I really want to get you going GMing PFS, considering how solid your background is, but I want to make certain the beginners all get something to GM!
Looks like I missed the cutoff. Please keep me in mind if you do this again.
I listened to your interview a week or two ago and found it inspiring. I'm currently in 3 games. I would like to GM for my fourth and final active game but I lack the confidence. I've never GMed.
One of my GMs uses roll20.net for maps - which I love. Another GM gives a ton of details in their writing. 'Unneccessary' accessories that really dazzle up the story and provide additional hooks and ways to flesh out characters. I don't want to get too into it but there was a terrific bar scene with all sorts of different NPCs (because, of course, there are many different character types.)
I'm glad you're doing this for new players. I'll be spectating!
That would be a perfectly reasonable compromise. Sign me up!
Sounds great!

Okay, so there ARE six parts to Phantom Phenomena. I had originally suggested 5 GMs, because one of the sections (Monument) has slightly less RP potential than the others. Still, looking at it again, the section does have some atmosphere. It would be fun to see what one of you does with it.
For the six of you who came in pre-cutoff, do we want to roll randomly for sections and have all six of you take part?
Also, joining in is a commitment to participate, read along, and help each other. I am also hoping that if you do this, you try GMing something play-by-post of your own in the next two months or so. Fair?
I've set up a gameplay that all of you can dot to get it in your campaigns, though I'm not so sure how much we'll use the Gameplay other than test posts. Let's talk through this tomorrow, divvy up sections and figure out what we want to tackle first!
As a spectator, I'd love to see some tips on how to handle pacing/keep the momentum going! I find that I run into situations where one character might generally ask the group what they should do next, there's a long pause (I'm guessing because nobody has ideas? But I'm not sure), one person might suggest something, another long pause, someone says something else (not necessarily agreeing, sometimes pointing out an issue with the proposed course of action), etc. Based on my (rather limited) experience, it seems to be more of an issue with games that don't have a clear path to an objective/are more open ended.
I will be stalking the Discussion thread in the hopes of finding answers (or other useful tips).
On a potentially more helpful to others note, for maps I've seen Google drawings, DungeonGrid, and Roll20 used. As long as you have a map (say, from a pdf or something), I personally prefer Google drawings because
1) It's easy to learn
2) You don't need accounts to view it (just remember to set the sharing preferences up correctly)
3) You can do fog of war style maps and circular effects without too much work thanks to the built in shapes (and other types of effects with a bit more work. The 'Arrange > Group' command is useful. Also, you can change the transparency level of colors)
IMO, the main downsides are
1) Dealing with different layers/making sure all the tokens are on top can be a bit of a pain (admittedly not really an issue if you're not using shapes to only reveal bits at a time or make AoE things)
2) It doesn't have anything build-in for RPGs, like snap-to-grid icons/area effect templates/auras or measure token movement distance
Pacing is a great idea for coverage, Puppet Master! For maps though, I am strongly going to suggest Slides. It's more friendly to those who game primarily on mobile devices, including, well... me. For your own later games, you may do whatever map interface you like!
To be clear, it is:
Ietsuna, Gummy Bear, JAFO, ThinkingFlesh, Lady Ladile, ofAnything that will be GMing slots.
GM Choon and possibly others will be riding along for technicals. You guys can dot too if you wish.
If I do a second run, Ghost, Zin and Ventiine will be first in line.
I would be interested in sitting in as well if it is acceptable. I have been thinking about giving PbP GM'ing a go for a while given how much I have enjoyed playing in the two specials.
Feel free to sit in and follow along. We're doing Harrow right now. The discussion is here, with the gameplay in the links connected to this campaign description.
It's not gone, not really! The database is clearly there, just hidden. It knows how many pages we have of gameplay and discussion, and how many posts there are.
They're just hidden. What we really need is see invisibility potion.
