Okay this is the character I'm entering. I'll be adding the backstory and appearance to the alias soon.
Terri was born to a pair of Chelish slaves of an often cruel master. Before she was even three months old, her parents had escaped with the help of an Andoran agent to Varisia. On of here earliest memories was if the Swallowtail Festival, which had a profound impact on the young halfling as she took Desna as her goddess not too many years later.
When she was just thirteen, they left Varisia and made their way to New Stetvon in Brevoy. Sadly, Terri's parents died just a few months after reaching the city. Terri prayed to Desna for luck and her prayers were seemingly answered when a group of humans and halflings took her in. She learned, quite painfully, that she was now in the company of thieves. She also learned to be quick whenever one of the bigger humans or even the less scrupulous halflings was drunk, mad, or both. As she grew older, she still looked like a child, which caused some rather close calls with the less savory members of the group wanted something more than her pickpocketing skills, or her silver tongue.
By the time Terri had come of age, she had seen the depths of depravity and soullessness of the guild she had spent several years growing up in. She made plans to leave, but not before she had all of their gold in hand. She waited until the guild was drunk from celebrating a particularly large score before acting. She gathered a few bags of holding and managed to get the majority of the gold into them. She left in the early hours of the morning and left much of the gold at churches and with families that needed the money or would put it to much better use than the guild would have.
The guild master awoke to find the young halfling woman gone and most of the gold as well. He had his followers scour the city for any sign of the gold or the "traitorous b*@*!." Luck was with the halfling, though. Terri Hide well, and the guild master was frustrated time and again as his followers and enforcers were made fools of time and again. Luck eventually ran out for Terri. She was chased out of town and is looking for a place to lie low.

Good stuff so far guys. I'm surprised I'm not seeing much of classes that take advantage of the bonus to charisma, such as sorcerers and oracles - we have one sorcerer and one paladin submission. It's fun to see the ideas you're all throwing together - this is going to be really hard to choose!
I'll likely make a decision early next week to give those who don't check the boards on the weekend a chance to get in.

So a small rapier wielding paladin with a 10ST deals 1d4? Bring on the bad guys.
Anyone know if there is a challenge or taunt ability in Pathfinder for paladins? Wouldn't want the bad guys to run circles around me saying who cares about an AoO from the puny rapier.
While it's not immediately available, the spell Compel Hostility should help you achieve your goal.

There's also some feats that are useful for battlefield control such as Stand Still.

k so i just downloaded hero lab liked it and paid for it, i edited my guy and added the stat block HL came up with, but i did not use the bonus feat for not using hero points
HL tip: For paizo forums, when you're exporting the stat block in herolabs, make sure you go to the 'BBCode' tab and use the copy button there. It will format things to look better on the boards/profiles by bolding keywords.

"Once there was a little girl
Who always carried a little doll
How she would laugh and dance a twirl
She had not a care in the world
Not for dresses or a bouncy ball
Not as long as she had her doll!"
That is the clearest thing Lillith can remember since she first found Mr. C. Rypt. It was a rhyme her mother made to describe her when she was playing with her new found doll. After that, things get a little fuzzy.
She remembers a day where everyone was scared because Granny Annie came back from sleeping in the stone house, a ball she went to where she danced with a handsome young halfling, leaving her hometown to go out and see the world, and figuring out she could learn a lot by pretending to be a human child.
Her memory has started to become clearer lately. Ever since she joined the bandits around Brevoy, she's been able to remember every day after. She gained a bit of respect among the highwaymen for her talent in getting wagons and caravans to stop and offer help to the "poor lost child", and soon stories that the bandits were using a little girl as bait spread. Unfortunately, this lead to her being unexpectedly "rescued" by a rather well-defended caravan. When they found out she was one of the bandits herself, they turned her over to Brevoy's authorities.
Thinking she'd spend many long years in prison, Lillith was surprised when she was offered the chance to gain her freedom. All she had to do was explore the Greenbelt and wipe out her ex-fellow bandits.
Seeing a chance to either escape and rejoin her old allies or gain even greater wealth, Lillith jumped at the chance. She didn't like the prison food anyway.
This is my backstory. Hope you like it, Count.

I'm out -- I was re-statting down this character but couldn't make it work and still be a reasonable rage prophet later -- and was 95% the way through making a fun Cavalier to join in until I realized I'd miss the first week of the campaign since I'll be away, which isn't fair to anyone.
Have fun, and someone please start a recruitment for something cool on Feb 1. ;)

Thank you to all who submitted their characters - there were some tough decisions but I've settled on 6:
Sancho Kalliwert
Odo Tealeaf
Nazdip Stinkblade
Muroi
Lillith Leagallow
Terri Riverrun
Please head over to the discussion thread and introduce yourselves as an acceptance. Everyone else, feel free to stick around and lurk - I'll open up recruitment again if anyone isn't able to make it or drops out.

Looks like we've already lost a player so I'm opening up recruitment once more. Current party makeup is as follows:
Druid
Barbarian (Titan Mauler)
Sorcerer (Starsoul)
Witch (Gravewalker)
Rogue
I'll give you until Wednesday to submit characters, or if you already applied the first time around but didn't make it in, let me know you're still interested.
To refresh:
Use 20pt buy, average starting gold, 2 traits (one should be a campaign trait from the player's guide), max HP at first level. No gunslingers or summoners, no evil alignments. Racial traits from APG are fine.

Noble born? Hardly, but the Waterfields have been serving the Lodovkas on and off for over a century, or so it is said. In fact, the Waterfield name was adopted to honor the Lodovka and their motto of "The Water, Our Fields". Of course, treatment varied from one generation to the next (and often on which branch of the clan they were with at the time), but quite often the Waterfields were treated almost as family.
Ekan was certainly treasured. His musical talent was recognized at a very young age, and cultivated most carefully. He was given the sort of training that only most noble children had access to, at least in matters musical.
Perhaos dearer to Ekan than even his own parents was Aryille Lodovka. It was she he first sang for, and who first praised him. It was she who offered him chance after chance to improve his craft, and then THANKED him for the fruits of his study.
But she was an old woman, and recently, Pharasma took her at last. All who knew her were saddened by her loss, particularly Ekan. Unable to stand the constant reminders of the loss of a human who had been like a second mother to him, and unwilling to leech any coffers from her true kin; Ekan sought out something else to do. A way to craft his own life without feeling the leech. Rumor reached him of some sort of exploration of the Stolen Lands. Now there was a place that would surely take a halfling's mind off his loss...
or else get him killed.
Leaving the service of the family formaly, he headed south immediately.

FWIW, I'm interested in submitting a character, but I've been working overtime lately, and I fell asleep in my chair while statting out a cleric of Desna last night. If you're interested, my first PbP character, Tudan Davken, is currently available; he's a halfling-raised aasimar oracle (life, lame) that I made for a long-defunct Kingmaker game.
