I don't have the time for 4-5 posts :)
2 to 3, devided over the early morning and evening.
Work and all.

Different speeds work for different players.
My Mummy's Mask group is now in Book 3 of the AP. We alternate between a week to four days of silence and then 5-6 days of frantic posting when the GM comes back online. It actually works great for me. When it's on... it's on fire. When it's off, I can ignore it and rest.
The trick is finding a pace that suits both yourself and the players that you have.
Hmm
PS GM Red... You can tell you have had a great scenario when the players are reluctant to leave once the scenario is over. You did a fantastic job here!

Alright Blaster, your Chronicle has been sent!
And thanks guys, your feedback really encourages me to continue running tables.
4-5 per day may be a little much for some people, yes. I work in IT so I'm on a computer all day and no one minds if I drop onto the boards to post every few hours. I think I'd like a 2-3 post per day scenario as well for the same reason that Hmm mentioned, that it sounds like it may be the sweet spot for not trading off roleplay quality for post speed.
I run a Roll20 text-only PFS group roughly biweekly and that's been a great experience and works a lot faster than PbP. I run text-only because I've always found text to allow for more immersion and roleplay versus voice. That's just me though, I'm sure if players are serious enough, voice can be just as good!

I can certainly see how trying to keep up with 4-5 posts would make the roleplay aspect suffer. 2-3 Is the speed I'm typically up to if I'm on a normal schedule most the year. Roleplaying via text is far easier and richer than voice I've found so far. To me its easier to have some time to choose the correct words and mannerisms than it is to do it in real time. Some people are likely the opposite.

4-5 posts is even too much for me. I'm in the 2-3 post range.
I too am running a text-only Roll20 campaign. There are a million improvements I wish that chat window had, but it lets people post their actions throughout the day- it's much more convenient than setting up an hour for everyone to show up.
And yes, GM Red. You've been great. If you have more scenarios, Sirettis will return for more adventure.

2-3 would be more manageable. During combat getting 2-3 posts is especially helpful I've noticed both as a player and as a GM.
I also would agree that text based games you are better able to immerse yourself in the game.

Agreed. When i play f2f, it's less of a chance to get properly ic.
Dialogues come easier, and can be read over again if there was any detail overlooked, opposed to having to ask if they could repeat something. :)

With the Chronicles out and the table reported, I'm going to mark this as inactive shortly. Thanks again for playing.
I'll likely be starting a new scenario next week or the week after. You'll all get PMs first once I'm ready and before I make it public. :)

Well it was a pleasure meeting you all. Thank you for letting me lurk!
