reflex: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 8 + 2 = 23
Tarquin is able to move his body out of the way from most of the lightning.
How badly does the woman look? trying to decide if pinning or just clawing and biting her would be more effective

Guess I should be able to take her out with a full attack
Tarquin grunts as the hairs on his arm rise because of the electric shock. Nevertheless he grins through it and steps in front of the woman, With the door behind her closed, she has nowhere to run. He slashes and bites the weak woman until she fall lifelessly to the ground.

Tarquin, where does the +2 comes from, and don't you actually get a -2 from grappling?
The armor continues to try and take down the guard, but the latter lives to tell another day. The dinosaur takes out the man, who has babbled his last Terran words.
Taqruin releases the woman, and tries to take her down with a well-direction assault. She lasts for a bite and a claw, but the last claw takes her down.
With the last guardsman having a single hit point left, I'm calling combat over!
The threat has passed, and the Thread of Silver is still intact. With it, a valuable cache of lore has been made available to the society, all thanks to the brave defenders of Sharrowsmith's exports.
During the repairs of the exports, the party has a chance to catch a glimpse of the books, and those who would be so inclined could even make a copy.
Aya arranges passage back to Absalom aboard a trading partner’s cargo vessel headed there anyway. Your help has been invaluable she says, thanks to you, the Pathfinder lodge in Nantambu has survived. I have a letter here, it contains all I know of Sharrowsmith's latest sighting. Perhaps you will one day come back, and stage a mission to the Bandu Hills to investigate his disappearance...
The end. To be continued in 6-12, On Sharrowsmith's trail....

I have heroism on which gives me two claws. And I think I said I released her. Think I missed that. But otherwise I couldn't have hit her three times anyway :).

Wierd that the storyline continues in a scenario with 1-5 tiers while this is higher...

Aroden smiles the last two baddies fall (assuming they are human), taking his time to keep them alive. Cast Stabilize.
"These two might serve me in the future...after they have paid for what they have tried to do here. Man's laws are man's laws, after all," Aroden says dryly, removing any weapons, holy symbols, or spellpouches.
Aroden surveys the Lodge, looking at the blood and damage.
"Not sure why we stayed. We could have emptied this place and let them have it...and been gone with the book back to Absalom," Aroden shakes his head.
"Come Pathfinders, we must celebrate our victory."

Thank for the bot of Iron Man, between work and school it was pretty crazy past few days.
Any spell books?

DM Kludde |

Nope, a sorceress and an oracle... zero pages between them, unfortunately.
