@Iron man: bomb splash, but it has hardness, so it shouldn't be there. It's got a little soot on it, though

Clanky stands up, provoking the nasty attack the guardsmen having been waiting for. Both attack chip harmlessly off the armour's defensive plating.

Clanky them tries to smash the female caster, but gets stopped by the field of magical protection surrounding her. A magic missile then flies overhead to one of the guardsmen, followed by two more..

Tarquin scratches and dents the Gearsman robot as silence removes all clanking and screeching sounds. Though it doesn't feel nearly as satisfying without the noise, Tarquin knows he has caused massive damage.

Aaroko patches up S'Slarn and command his dino, who looks a bit confused.

I do think that is a bit of a stretch, yes, as there is not really a scent to follow

The gearsman halts, and glows for moment. Some unseen force seems to rebuild the robot from the inside, and to be removing scratching. When it stops glowing, it looks much better.

The blue guardsman tries to trip up the armour again, and again dumps it on the ground. The noise would have been terrible, if it hadn't been for the silence in the room.

The casters are clearly frustrated by the silence, but the red guardsman jumps down on the suit of armour and grabs a hold of him, restraining him enough for the two spell casters to get out.

The Zenj armour fails to prevent the guardsman taking hold of him, but does manage to deal him a good punch while grappling him. Following the impact of the force missile, Clanky is suddenly covered beneath an unconscious, bleeding guardsman.

Uhm, yeah. Trainride ninja.

The gearsman avoids the bite of Tarquin, but cannot dodge his claws so easily. Both strike, returning the scratches to the renewed armour plating.

A crunching sound can be heard from the room to the north, where Iron Man left a secret door open.

The gearsman continues trying to skewer Tarquin on his charged spear, and hit the tiefling with a jolt of energy.

Navi sees the caster duo punch another hole in the wall of the building with a spell, the step through inside.

Tarquin rips into the robot again, and brings it to the brink of destruction with two punishing claw attacks.

@Aroden, I'm pretty sure I have only taken 1 damage this entire combat, from AoE. You healed me for 5 after and I am back to full. I just re-checked the logs and I don't see anything else. Let me know if I missed something.

I did repeatedly mention the secret door was open, and that sound coming through, right?

The scramble seems to be for the casters, as Tarquin holds his own against the gearsman. Aaroko, Aroden and the dino all move for the secret door.

On one end of the battlefield, the gearsman stabs at Tarquin

Iron man keep harassing the last guard, but again fails to inflict any hit. The armour, on the other hand, feints with one gauntlet, then hit the guard full-on with the other. The guard is bleeding from the mouth, and severely battered, but still standing strong.
