I've dotted and deleted - its sooo much neater and I have OCD tendencies. Just need to type up Arcad's background which is all but done.

Here we go, all done. Personality wise I see Arcad as self conscious, sarcastic, kind, and quick to stick up for the little guy. Dacra does not talk much and acts as a big brother to Arcad while strongly identifying as a Shoanti warrior, he will probably speak in Shoanti more often than not.

Background:
Arcad's childhood was a misery. Born to Zarva Blood Stealer, a Witch Woman of the Sklar-Quah (The Sun Clan), he was supposed to be a weapon. His mother had lain with a Pathfinder taking his seed as payment for passage through Sklar-Quah lands. The Pathfinder was Erid Vrain a half elf summoner possessed of a potent Chimera-like eidolon he named Bethriss. Zarva sought to take this strange power for the Sklar-Quah to turn against their manifold enemies.

Arcad was not treated as a son, but as an experiment, and a disappointing one at that. Where his blood was supposed to make him a great warrior instead his elven heritage made him slow growing and pitifully weak compared to other children of his age. Drilled in battle from his earliest memories he was constantly shamed, beaten, and ridiculed by his peers and his trainers. Not only was he held in contempt, but also in fear for the clan has seen his father's fearsome eidolon and believed this weakling capable of one day summoning such a beast.

Zarva subjected the miserable Arcad to vile potions, profane rituals, and terrible tortures to call forth his eidolon. But nothing worked to her great frustration, and her son was only a puny burden to the Sklar-Quah. When he was twelve she gave up all but abandoning Arcad, in the belief that he was either not capable of manifesting an eidolon or that he would need to come of age first. Arcad was taken in by the old healer Gurva Soft Hands who had tended to his wounds all too often. The ancient woman was a devout follower of Desna and her passion for the deity along with her kindness made Arcad a devoted convert to the The Tender of Dreams.

He was beginning to build a life for himself as the healer's apprentice, it was seen as a shameful role for a male he was well used to shame, when the orcs came. In the deepest raid into Sklar-Quah lands in a century they struck at the clan as they moved camp while the majority of the warriors were away hunting. Captured and bound he watched Gurva die horribly and overcome by rage finally awoke his birthright.

Suddenly a humanoid figure covered in black chitin was amidst the unprepared orcs claws tore the orcs apart, and at Arcad's urging the creature freed him and the few warriors. Plucking up their fallen foes weapons the warriors and the terrible black ceature were able to keep the remaining orcs at bay until the warriors returned to ride down an annihilate them.

Arcad named his eidolon Dacra, for in many ways the creature was his opposite, or perhaps what he wanted to be. Unlike Arcad Dacra was embraced by the tribe, his fierce strength was more than a match for the clan's strongest and he excelled in training - revenging a number of Arcad's humiliations with brutal beatings. Dacra and Arcad rode out with the warriors, Arcad tending wounds while Dacra fought. Dacra's chitin was soon carefully carved with the marking of fire and sun that a human Sklar-Quah would have born as tattoos.

Then when Arcad had just turned fifteen he finally met his father. Erid snuck into the camp in the dead of night invisible thanks to his magics. In broken Shoanti he talked with his son, discovering the boys unhappiness and trials and finally resolving to steal him away. Erid summoned his now massive winged chimera eidolon and the two were born up into the sky upon the beast's back - eventually returning to his father's home city, Absalom.

Erid had no intention of giving up adventuring though, instead he proposed that Arcad join the Society. But at fifteen he was perhaps the equivalent of ten in human years and the Society refused to accept him until he had come into his growth and had learned to speak Taldan common. For a while he stayed with his father, in a room at the Grand Lodge, who while kind was hardly attentive and spent little time with him being a womanizer, drinker, and adventurer in about equal measure.

After a few months of this he contracted Mind Fire, probably during an adventure with Dacra into the flooded district known as Puddles. When he finally recovered himself he found himself at Auntie Baldwins his father long since departed on a mission for the Society. He ended up spending the next five years there, making friends as he gradually recovered and picked up the Taldan tongue. His father visited him every couple of months and spent time instructing him in the use of the Elven Curved Blade - a weapon Erid had been instructed in by his own elven father.

Three years ago Arcad joined the Pathfinder Society with a number of the friends he had made at Auntie Baldwins. During the training he came into his full growth and finally began to show the strength that would have endeared him to his old clan.

Thinking of dropping the Butterfly Sting idea and swapping out dex and int - 12 and 14 - so I can take Precise Strike at third. I could put both stats at 13, but that seems a bit of a waste. Plus Butterfly Sting is more worthwhile when I am able to afford a keen weapon later so can be put off, and 2d6 potential extra damage when flanking seems better than the occasional crit spike from butterfly Sting - which could happen anyway..

DM Kludde, can we please change Dacra's avatar on the map? Really not keen on that image, and his description was designed to suit one of the Hellknight avatars.

Good but slighty cartoony
More realistic but looks less chitinous.

Also not really relevant here, but just to point out that Dacra is pretty much always disguised as a human. Or at least disguised as a heavily armored humanoid, though probably not very well. He has a rank and a +4 modifier, but disguising as another race is -2. Mostly putting that out there for future reference :)

I'm not sure if it's different on windows, but I cannot drop and drag, or copy-paste on google drive, which makes setting up maps a pain. I'm also off-line a lot, which complicates updating the map.

I'm giving this a shot - consider it a cave-in to BP (I have to give something back for him keeping three of my games going, and he's been nagging me for google drive maps ever since my DM table)

This is a one-time this-table-only offer :-)

Silver Crusade

Arcad ; HP 13/13; AC 15 T 12 F 13; Fort +2, Ref +2, Will +1 (+2 vs. enchantments), Init +2, Per +1 | Dacra ; HP 7/7; AC 15 T 11 F 14; Fort +3, Ref +1, Will +2 (+1 vs Fear); Init +1, Per +4

Woot! Sorry to harp on I just really think it makes games appreciably better. I appreciate you trying it and promise to shut the heck up whether or not you decide to stick with it :)

@Liam: nice! You win a game-day boon, and best of all, one of your choice:

Choices:

Boon 1:

Lingering Resonance: A recent encounter with an enemy spellcaster left your body strangely receptive to spell effects. At the beginning of a scenario, you may announce that you are using this boon. The next time that you fail a saving throw against any spell or spell-like ability from an enemy spellcaster, have your GM write the name of the spell below. Choose one of the following benefits, and cross the other off your Chronicle sheet.
• When you cast the listed spell, you may increase the DC of the saving throw by 2.
• When you roll a saving throw against the listed spell, you gain a +4 bonus on the save.
You may use this bonus once for free, after which you should check the box below; each additional use of the selected benefit costs 1 Prestige Point.

Boon 2:

Long Distance Support: You heard the Decemvirate’s call to arms as the Fifth Crusade began, but for whatever reason the society did not send you to the front lines immediately. You may nonetheless send extra supplies to aid your fellow Pathfinders. At the end of any scenario that does not take place in Mendev or the Worldwound, you may choose to spend 1 Prestige Point to send a cache of necessary supplies north to aid the war effort. On a line below, have your GM record where the scenario took place and initial the entry. Upon filling all five lines, you gain two benefits.
First, you gain a Mendevian Commendation for your tireless efforts to supply the crusade. A Mendevian Commendation grants you a cumulative +1 bonus on Charisma-based skill checks to influence Mendevian Crusaders (maximum +3).
Second, as a swift action while fighting a creature with the demon subtype or bearing an unholy symbol of a demon lord, you may grant all allies that you can see within 60 feet a +2 circumstance bonus on attack rolls, damage rolls, and saving throws against those creatures for one minute. When you use this second ability, cross it off your Chronicle sheet.

Boon 3:

Mendevian Weapon Training: Queen Galfrey of Mendev understands both that poorly equipped crusaders are of little use to the ongoing war against demonkind and that an inadequately trained crusader cannot make effective use of good equipment. As a result, those who dedicate themselves to the Fifth Crusade have access to training and equipment that might not otherwise be available. When you would be permitted a Day Job check, you may instead spend 4 Prestige Points to receive intensive training with a specific weapon or suit of armor. You receive a masterwork version of the weapon or armor, and you gain proficiency in that specific weapon or armor (but not others of its type). If you are already proficient with the selected armor or weapon, you instead gain a +2 bonus to CMD against disarm and sunder combat maneuvers targeting the chosen item.
Choose the weapon or armor from the following list: breastplate, glaive, heavy shield, or longsword.

Boon 4:

Moment of Glory: Whether it is by fate, fortune, or circumstance, you are able to tap into a hidden reserve of power at just the right moment to perform a truly extraordinary feat. By activating this boon as a free action, you become a mythic character (1st mythic tier) for 3 rounds. If you fall unconscious due to hit point loss during this time, you automatically stabilize without needing to attempt a Constitution check. In addition, once before this effect ends, you may use the surge mythic ability to increase any d20 roll you just made by rolling 1d6 and adding it to the result. Using the surge is an immediate action taken after the result of the original roll is revealed. This can change the outcome of the roll.
When you use this boon, cross it off your Chronicle sheet; however, anytime you successfully complete (earning the maximum possible number of Prestige Points) a scenario that using the “hard mode” option, you may have the GM sign this boon. You may use this boon one additional time for each such signature you receive.

To receive the boon, tell me which one you want, and PM me your email address (which is required for Jesse to be able to send you the corresponding chronicle)

| AbadarCorp Entertainment Official GM | How is my flying? | DICEBOT LOVES YOU |Starship combat cheat sheet | STEAL THIS TEMPLATE | Traveling until Jan 3, reduced posting frequency expected

I've put the chronicles in a folder here. I've generated them using a small nodejs program I wrote (I'll make it available if you're interested), which has the oddity of adding a blank page - the actual chronicle is on the second page.

I'll wrap up the reporting soon - I just hope to hear from Arcad...

I get to roll for a boon as well:
Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 20 Sweet!

Dark Archive

Female Human (Varisian) Arcanist (Spell Specialist) 2 / Sorcerer (Tattooed) 1 | HP 19/19 | AC: 15 T: 11 FF: 14 CMD: 10 | F+2 R+2 W+6 | Init +7 (+4) | Perception +5 (+2)

Congratulations on the boon! I won't use my reroll for that because I've already won one for this PbP gameday. Thanks for running, the scenario, I'll set up the campaign for the next scenario shortly, the link will be provided on the Orphan Lodge campaign threads.

Could somebody make a boon roll for Arcad? I will accept the first d20 roll labelled 'Boon' following this post.

Silver Crusade

Female Elf Oracle (Ancient Lorekeeper) 5 [ HP 33/33 | AC 19/12/17 (SoF 21/12/19) | Fort +1, Ref +3, Will +3 (+2 vs. ench, immune to sleep) | Init +2 (roll twice)| Perception +10 ]

Boon (Arcad): 1d20 ⇒ 6

Also, turns out I never rolled for Anaristiel.

Boon (Anaristiel): 1d20 ⇒ 20

EDIT: Ummmm...okay, then.

EDIT 2: Oh, and no Day Job roll...

| AbadarCorp Entertainment Official GM | How is my flying? | DICEBOT LOVES YOU |Starship combat cheat sheet | STEAL THIS TEMPLATE | Traveling until Jan 3, reduced posting frequency expected

Alright Anaristiel! You can have a look at the 'choices' spoiler above, and PM me your email address.

Good harvest for boons, this one.

Silver Crusade

Female Elf Oracle (Ancient Lorekeeper) 5 [ HP 33/33 | AC 19/12/17 (SoF 21/12/19) | Fort +1, Ref +3, Will +3 (+2 vs. ench, immune to sleep) | Init +2 (roll twice)| Perception +10 ]

PM'ed you my email addy.

I'm horrible about letting single-use items sit on my character sheet for an eternity because there will always be a better reason to use it, so I think I'll go with boon 3. A glaive might be interesting, but while she'll eventually get a BP, I'm not going to spend 4PP on something I could get for 350GP (unless she could get a special material for free that way ("hello, mithral").
