Perception of the masked: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Looking from the door to the others, Locke notices some red coming from Fiona's ears.

"Would someone check on miss Fiona, i think she's bleeding.
Does she suffer from sensitive veins?"

Gwen growls in annoyance when the coward runs behind the curtain. She shifts into her fighting stance and moves up to the right of the curtain before placing herself in a fully defensive posture. She then prepared to pull the curtain down. "Is everyone ready?"

Swift Action - Snapping Turtle Style; +1 Shield bonus to AC. Movement Action - Moving into the square to the right of the curtain (if someone could move Gwen on the map I'd be grateful). Standard Action - Total Defense; +4 Dodge bonus to AC. Effective AC of 21.

Not sure what type of action it would require to rip down the curtain...

Does anyone want to post actions for Vicard? Else I'll move on tomorrow.

Tereze says a prayer and casts bless on you.

Locke draws his morningstar.
You didn't move your token and now Ery's on the spot you wanted. You may still move yourself to another spot.

Eryzule moves to one side of the curtain and creates a shortspear made of vines and wood.

Fiona's about to cast a spell when the voice inside her head returns to inflict pain on her.

Gwendallyn shifts into the snapping turtle style as she moves on the other side on the curtain and goes total defense.
It's a move action to pull the curtain down. You'll either have to wait till next turn, or someone else has to pull it down.

At that moment, i was posting on a tablet, and thus couldn't move. Plus, he only said 'side of the curtain, which i then understood at the west side.
It's actually Gwen who's taken my spot. :)

Shoot... Well in that case, I'll have Gwen take position next to Locke. He can pull down the curtain... gives Gwen the ability to rush in and start grappling fools.

Everyone's still got all fingers attached?
Be careful he's not going to be contagious to your health, Gwen.
Diseases are a nuisance to treat at low levels. :/

Tereze notices that Fiona falls to her knees, but is far too focused on the curtain to notice anything more.

Shoot... Well in that case, I'll have Gwen take position next to Locke. He can pull down the curtain... gives Gwen the ability to rush in and start grappling fools.

Judging by the map, it looks like Locke opted to instead move next to you.

Nothing happens while Locke moves. Or so it seems, on your side of the curtain.

I know I'm late but I figured better late then never. Here is my estimate of what Vicard would do being a worldwise investigator. Note, I am on a phone so I can't move the picture on the map.

Vicard draws his long spear as he walks forward. He stops just over 5 feet away from curtain and uses the spear to push the curtain aside.

Urbar grins as the man casts the spell protection from good. He moves forward to stand right in front of the curtains, drawing both his swords.
"That won't work against me... I am going to cut you up!"
This he says whilst the sound of the blades coming out of their sheaths sounds.
"As a matter of fact unless you have some undead we should be done here very quickly."

Let's go with the actions Tereze posted for Vicard.

@Urbar: You may retcon with the info that I post below. I kept you in the same position, figuring your retcon will still include moving forward while drawing your swords. You may want to add an attack though? ;)

You see three lepers in the other room, in addition to Ben-Garri. The masked man stands next to the body of the late Venture-captain, which is fully wrapped in winding cloth for immediate transport.

After the curtain disappears he immediately strikes at the first person he sees. (green) His sword catches on the curtain as he swings.

Atk roll: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 2 = 13
Dmg roll: 1d8 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 2 = 10

Despite catching onto the curtain halfway the swing, Urbar's sword cuts the leper in front of the ranger down.

Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Another one of them steps forward and takes a wild swing at Urbar, who avoids getting hit by simply standing still.

The masked man points a finger at Urbar and yells, "Fall!"

Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14

Nothing happens, causing the whole pointing and yelling thing to be a bit awkward.

The elf slides back, aiming his spear from behind Vicard.

"Go-go mighty Tea spear!"

And with that, he tosses the spear at red. taking a -4 for melee
Spear Throw: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (11) + 3 - 4 = 10
Tea Pain: 1d6 - 2 ⇒ (2) - 2 = 0

Not feeling very good about that throw.

"I'm bad at this..."

Round 2

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19

Gwen shifts around Urbar and attempts to squeeze past the leper into the room with their enemies, slipping her handaxe from her belt as she moves. Once into position, she hacks at the deformed cultist. "Disgusting minions, I'll send you to your lady!" Unfortunately, in her haste to get into position, Gwen's aim is off and her hand axe merely takes a chunk out of the door frame.

Attack Red: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 = 7 LOL! Orrrrrrr not.
Damage Red: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Free Action - Maintain Snapping Turtle Style (+1 Shield to AC). Movement Action - Acrobatics to avoid AoO and move into current position on map. Standard Action - Attack Red.

Locke feels slightly out of place, as the obvious frontliners rush in.

"Ser Vicard, how long would this last, you reckon?
These folk seem to fall swiftly."

Not much i can do here.

Tereze draws her sling as she steps up next Vicard.
Standing next to him she lets a stone fly at Ben Garri through the doorway.
Sling: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 1 = 11
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Unfortunately the stone catches the curtain as it flys through.

All of you be careful. Even ze body may be infested with disease in zere!

"Conveniently, We have you to bless the body incase its been defiled by unholy powers."

Ery said in passing to the accented Tereze.

Eryzule throws his spear, but the spear's trajectory is changed due to piercing the floppy curtain first.

Gwendallyn moves past Urbar and the curtain and attempts to punch one of the lepers, but without success.

Tereze slings a stone at Ben Garri, but the stone's caught in the curtain.

When Locke turns to talk to Vicard, who he's just gotten used to having as an ally, he realizes Vicard never joined you on this mission. His aid was requested in an important investigation back in Absalom, which kept him from joining you.

As you look at the curtain you all realize it's just hanging there, blocking your view of what's behind. There are both a tear and a hole in the curtain where the weapons of Urbar and Eryzule went through and a sling stone lies on the floor in front of the curtain. What's more, you're all sure you saw Vicard pushing the curtain to the side with his longspear. Or was it just your imagination?

Fort: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

The leper with the blue shirt moves up to Gwendallyn and punches her in the face. He appears to be somewhat surprised that he actually hit her.

Urbar grins as the first leper goes down and swings at the second. (red) Completely oblivious that Vicard just disappeared right next to him.

Dmg roll: 1d8 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 2 = 8

If the first hit kill the first target he will 5 foot step forward and target the next in line.

Even though there's now a curtain in front of him, Urbar still swings his sword in a way that it would hit whoever's behind the curtain. His sword rips through the curtain, adding another tear to the fabric, and also cuts through the leper behind the curtain. As the leper hits the floor, Urbar knows he can 5-foot step forward, past the curtain. He does exactly that, encounters another leper, and also cuts that one down.

Just fyi, Steph, Gwen only actually took 1 damage. You have her at 18/21 and should be 20/21.

Round 3

Gwen turns and glares at Ben Garri once Urbar takes down the other lepers. She drops her axe and with a twitch of wrist, shoots her dan bong into her hand. She approaches the spellcaster as he retreats and shoots into the grapple the man. "Let's take him alive, Urbar! I want do know what he was going with the body!"

Grapple Ben Garri: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16

Free Action - Drop handaxe. Swift Action - Draw dan bong from SLWS. Movement Action - Move into position on map. Standard Action - Attempt to Initiate a Grapple.

"Oh you poor fool..."
Ery says as he entered from the curtain. His voice direct, but with a tone of jovial carelessness.
"This could have been so easily avoided...Now You have a man-hunter, neck-snapper and a priest of Calistria to tend with...and not in a good way. What will you do?"
Ready use of Ear-Piercing Scream if he some how avoids Muscle's grapple.

Forgot to add Bless in there... Should be a total of 17...

Locke moves in too, even if only to see the leper leader in a vicegrip.

Fiona gathers herself and moves to the other room, muttering a short incantation while gesturing towards the leper leader just as Gwen moves in and tries to grapple him. Fiona finishes her magic in a few seconds, whispering "Sleep," at their single survivng enemy.
Slumber hex on Ben Garri, DC 14 vs. Will.

"Oh, there you are, Fiona."
Ery says with a light wave.
"Had a moment?"

Locke ponders, but leaves the question be.
Like the voices, everybody has their secrets and troubles.

Tereze steps up to the curtain and pushed it aside to see what is beyond.

At her feet she a number of Leaper bodies.
At the sight of them she freezes.....

Oh Gods above, they have done it again... Slaughtered the Gods precious creations. I must undo this wrong, I should.... Wait.... should I bring them back? They have a disease obviously beyond what any here can heal. Bringing them back will simply sentance them to years of slow rot and pain. Is that truly what the Lords and Ladies above would want? What is life really worth? Is someone sick worth less then the healthy or do all deserve the chance to do right no matter what pain they must endure.. Would it not be right to let them move on? Is it wrong to give back life, Can that be wrong to preserve that precious gift?

Gwendallyn moves up to Ben Garri with her dan bong in hand and grapples him in a manner that avoids skin contact.

Most of you move into the other room, while Tereze moves up to the curtain and pushes it aside.

Eryzule readies an ear-piercing scream, in case Ben Garri escapes Gwendallyn's grapple.
@Ery: Or would you rather change that now Gwen's got him grappled? If so, go ahead.

Fiona casts a slumber hex on Ben Garri, but to no avail.

Fiona winces at Eryzule's question, "A moment? I'm... I'm all fine."

Urbar puts on of his swords to the man's throat.
"What have you done to the corpse? If he comes back while we are transporting him you will pay dearly."

Urbar moves up to the masked man and puts one of his sword to the man's throat.

"You can put that in your rear!" the man yells to Urbar.

Escape grapple: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

The masked man breaks out of Gwendallyn's grapple and 5-foot steps into the room's corner.

Gwen stares at Ben Garri dumbfounded for a moment after he slips from her grasp. "Son of a b$$$h!" she exclaims and follows the man into the corner. "Give up, fool! You cannot escape!" Instead of grappling again, she lashes out with a fist, but misses the man and ends up punching the wall!

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Dashing to the corner of the room to get a better view, Ery lets loose a tangle vine in an attempt to trip Ben...
CMB Trip: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
... The vine gets pinned by Gwen's fist into the wall.
"Urbar, Kill em! Ill get a scroll to speak to his corpse!"

Locke moves up to the man to swing the morningstar.

Urbar says as he tries to spill the man's guts.
"I hope you can bring yourself back from the dead..."

Fiona looks at Tereze for a moment, then matter-of-factly moves between the wounded lepers and stabilizes those of them who are not already dead. Her focused approach seems very much in odds with her behavior during the battle.

"Well, I'm glad Urbar is there as our respective plan "B" when we need em."
Ery laughed, rubbing the back of his head. He looked to Fiona with a raised brow. He spoke to her while picked up the mask, looking it over curiously.
"So.. I think it's time we talked about your combat freezes. Not only does it put you in a defenseless postion, it puts strain on us."

Combat freezes?

"Does it relate to her ear bleeding?
Miss Fiona did look a little pale, just then."

Urbar picks up the mask and pockets it.
"This might come in handy one day. You never know when you want to scare someone to death."
He turns around to face the corpse they came for.
"Now for the real dead here."
He leans over it and gives it a good look, to see if it has been hampered with or if anything stands out.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Already snagged the mask Urbar, but Ill roll with it.

Ery raised a brow, looking to his now empty hand as Urbar had snatched away the ivory mask.
"Ah. I see that was a little more important to you."
the elf sighed, shaking his head as he turned to approach Locke. He gave a nod at the masked man's inquiries then placed a hand to his chin in thought.
"The bleeding is new, though she does often freeze up."
