I have just realized I´ve done a strange election of games.
Currently I´m playing a game in which we were sent to find a ruby ring to the Drownyard. I hope there are not a lot of spoilers about "taht other scenario" but a confirmation will be apreciated.
If there´s no problem playing both I have two characters I can bring, both of them are skill monkeys and can help in diplomatic situations, but have .
In one hand I have Maldrek a tiefling wizard who needs to be updated to level three. He´s a former slave who loves knowledge and who joined the Society because, after having helped his former masters in some missions, it´s the best way he knows to discover lost or secret knowledge.
In the other hand there is Irudiel, a level 2 half-elf investigator, who joined The Exchange, and thus the Society, as a bussiness opportunity. He feels knowing of everything, and being able to convince anyone to be very usefull in his bussiness. He also can figh a little, but he isn´t a very good fighter. No sheet in the web, from now he only have GM credit and many different ideas about him
Amsheagar |
My 4th level rogue was dragged into another game. I have a 3rd level monk and a 4th level sniper rogue (which I need to update l) that I could play with.

@Helikon: Yes, you can play Felicitas. You are playing her twin sister in DD ;) You decided to play the full campaign and not only the PFS sanctioned parts so we are not tied to the PFS rules.
So far we have:
Bulgo 3
Helikon 3/4
Amsheagar 34
Oykiv 2/3 (if he/she decides to join)
Black Powder 1/3/4
GM Baerlie |
Great, that means the party consists of:
Bulgo Bluefoot Rogue 3
Kyra Cleric 4
Haro はろ Monk 3
Maldrek "el liberto" Wizard 3
Arianna "Anna" Turvanar Spiritualist 1
Black Powder 3 (?)
Which brings us to an APL of 2.83, rounded up to 3. That means we are going to play the subtier 4-5 with four player adjustment. If Helikon decides to play level 1 Kyra, we would have to play the lower subtier without adjustments.
Arianna "Anna" Turvanar |
Hum... so sorry, I was sure that when I put my name on that recruitment sheet It had more level 1 players...
I think I will have to bow out of this, since I have only level 1 characters and do not really like to play pregens...
Is that a big problem to you?

@Arianna: 14 HP at level 1 ain't too shabby. At least you can use your phantom, too to do your stuff while you try to stay safe in the back. You could be worse for a level 1 walking into a 4-5 tier, all things considered. If you don't want to risk it, I won't blame you.
Think I'm going to go with buff monk myself. Need more knowledge stuff, we'll have a Kyra for heals, got a level 3 dedicated wizard, and I can inspire courage through my drunken words of truth.

Well, if this is the case, I will try my luck! Will finish her sheet soon!

A warning: I'm in Prague attending an indoor hockey tournament from tomorrow to Sunday. The hotel offers free WiFi on their homepage, but I don't know if this is really working and how much time I have in the evening. If I don't post updates during the weekend, please don't get nervous ;)

Can we talk out of game of what we want to do? If only to speed the things a little?
At last, I think we could try to interrogate Colson a little and after that give him the information, except the one regarding to Junia´s mother, because why not? (Don´t want to harm Junia´s family, so we can avoid this)
DEstroying all the evidence is good for me too. And I like the idea of Bulgo, of letting Colson talk to his brother.
Bulgo Bluefoot |
If Bulgo was sovereign court, I'd be all for destroying the information to protect the noble families. But he's not :-)
I'm mostly curious about where the faction leader sits now, and what he really wants to do with the information.

If Bulgo was sovereign court he will keep the information to "persuade" the noble families to join. At least this is what my SC character will do.

I think we talked our way through most of the possible combats.
We could have had two battles in the garden presumably. And those ghosts that got talked down at the end may have been pretty nasty too.
Oh, FJC - I presume this counts as defeating a haunt?
Maldrek "el liberto" |
I´m with Bulgo, there have been oportunities for combat, but we decided to not provoke it.
I´ve been recently playing several games wich feel short of combat due the posibility to pass the encounter talking (or otherwise), and having a great group who also wanted to avoid unnecesary confrontation. For me its better than havind to combat every encounter no matter what you do. (But I miss the opportunity of casting some spells).
It´s been a great game and a great group. Hope to see you in more games.
GM Baerlie |
There were five encounters: the guys who attempted to shove J. around in the beginning, two encounters in the gardens (the fat baby plant and the druid plant), the haunt in the classroom and Cassiel's ghost. You had descent diplomacy rolls and in tier 1-5 the foes are mostly unfriendly and not hostile. And the script offers the possibility to talk you through the encounters, even the DCs for rolls are given.
