btw, if it turns out that we actually have already dropped this monk a few attacks ago, and assuming this goes on until it is over, I would just like to keep my actions/die rolls for the next monk, unless there is an opportunity to go after the main guy and then of course Braxus will try and do that. Just saying it now so that you don't have to wait for another post once the GM gets back on. This is a timed event after all.

In the aftermath of the battle, Taika draws herself up, smoothing out her robes (lightly singed from the one scorching ray she had caught) and opening her satchel to check that Kani is comfortable and safe within. She offers a small smile around at her colleagues.
"It has been an... interesting experience. Hopefully my next mission for the society will reward my research abilities more than the spells I've learned for self-defense... but in the necessary spots of violence, you were all most capable. I am sure I will see some of you again."
Taika collects one of the rose petals blowing across the stage, and lifts it thoughtfully before tucking it into her spell component pouch.
"I do not care for your ales and meads, but... I might raise a glass of wine with you, if you wish."
Great game, folks!

As the need for violence finally ends, so does the rage that fuels his actions, leaving Braxus heaving in breaths as the familiar fatigue over takes him.
After a minute to catch his breath, and after listening to the words of the Emissary, Braxus sighs contentedly. A wide smile breaks across his weather beaten and tattooed face as he looks to his new friends.
"Well," he says, "I could go for a drink with you all after that. HA! I would go for a drink with you all after, before or during just about anything, truth be told!"
Then, more somberly, he adds, "I hope the Society groups us together again. I felt something with you all. Something different. There was no need for a leader and no arguing among us as I have seen with so many other groups. What we did...how we did it...we just fit."
Then, grinning widely once more, "Now about that drink!"
If ever you need a drunken, loud, giant of a man to join you for a mission, please bring along good, strong drink and give Braxus a yell. He'll come running!

He winks back at Taika, ”Oh, come on, Skinny. A good scrap needs a stout ale to finish it off.”
Awesome, guys! Had fun. I’d definitely jump at the chance to play another with you guys. :)
