Question for the DM- could Aspex Prestidigitate the bar off the door. 2 issues- one would be the weight limit, which could be fixed by just lifting one end of the bar, and the other is line of sight, which she might be able to fix by peeking through a crack in the door if there's a crack to look through.
Both are equally good reasons that render that idea impossible.

Aspex is too busy tormenting puppies and using halflings for stools to have a day job. (She's really not that bad, I swear!)
She will happily needle Ardisen about his attachment to goblins if she ever runs into him in a social setting, though.
