Theophilus's flask hits the jadwiga right in the forehead, covering her long, luscious locks in beautiful napalm. Baphos moves forward, saying a quick prayer, while Slamu tries to keep his weapon between himself and the bear's jaws--all to no avail. He fares better against the guard though, dodging a clumsy, hasty bolt. Adding insult to injury, the jadwiga locks gazes with Slamu and somehow invades his mind with her iron will.

Theophilus sends an errant dagger vaguely in the bear's direction, then Declan disappears and Baphos confounds the guard for a few seconds.

Finding the bear a worthy opponent, Big Slamu retrieves a syringe labeled *GENE SLAMMER* and jabs it into his arm. Immediately the already brawny sharkman hulks with additional layers of muscle and his pupils dilate slightly.

Theophilus tries to distract the guard's spell, and Declan suddenly appears again--with his short sword sticking out of the jadwiga's breast. It seems to be the only thing keeping her standing, because she crumples to the ground when he pulls the blade back out. Baphos quickly prays for Slamu's success, while the big fighter backs up and drinks an alchemical potion.
The bear stays right on top of Slamu, ripping into his intestines with both claws. As the guard finishes casting, an eagle appears out of thin air, viciously attacking the brawler. The guard then steps closer to the jadwiga and closes up most of her wounds with a short spell. He also retrieves a small bottle and holds it out to her. She instantly grabs the bottle and drinks from it.

I'm confused. It looks like only two of those attacks hit dealing 7 damage (bear claw 2 and eagle talon 2). That would put Slamu's damage taken at 17 total.

Baphos touches Slamu with curative magic, then the skinwalker takes out both animals.
The witch shouts some strange words at the guard, who moves past Declan and keeps going, momentarily dropping his guard. The jadwiga then stands up and follows him. Moments later, Uliyara follows them in disgust, "In the end, you were no better than the barbaric Ulfen!"
