Great, everyone's here! Thanks for responding quickly.

For anyone that may not know, an IOUN TORCH is a burnt out Ioun Stone that still has the power to float around the user's head on command, and has a CONTINUAL FLAME spell cast on it (providing light equivalent to a torch). It comes our of The Ultimate Equipment book, (I think one other but I can't remember for sure or which one), and costs 75GP.

Is that an item you normally need to have earned 5 fame in order to buy?

It being a magic item, I believe that's true unless you (a) have it on a chronicle sheet or (b) spent 1 PP on it. Otherwise, you need to wait until you have 5 fame.

My apologies. The Hero Lab program must have a glitch. It allowed me to purchase it. Sorry. Vladamir does not have a light source currently then.

I don't think HeroLab (which I love) ever checks fame requirements when buying items. Always best to double check that kinda stuff yourself.

I'm running a table of the Race for the Runecarved Key special right now, and going to a con next weekend, so I likely won't start anything else right away.

Just another question, why I did not get gold for the second level?

You get 'out of subtier' gold, because while you were second level, the rest of the party was first level, so you as a group played at the first-level subtier (second level would have had harder monsters, skill checks, etc). If everyone had been second level, and you had played in that tier, then you would have gotten the second-level gold.
