Holman waits for something sensible to do, while Takahiro moves through the mass of spider before they manage to crawl all over him, and deals a furious hack at the glob of spidery and insect legs, and kills it with a single shot.
I don't think moving through a swarm required any saves. You auto-succeed at the DC 10 Fort save for being next to the water.
Grimaldus sees the blob sink and fires his arrow at the priest, but the toxic fumes make aiming hard.

Cacumattus doesn't understand why some of the others appear to hesitate when they hear the priest's music, but a wave of nausea hits him as the creature spews forth the mass of spiders.
Sickened, 4 rounds remaining
He carefully moves forward, then reaches into his pack to pull of a flask of Alchemist's first.

Holman's icicle misses, but up front, Takahiro lands blow after blow, until the priest goes down into the caustic water. Strangely, though, he keep floating on top, colouring the water below red.The spider swarm dissipates soon after.
Combat over. I believe you still intended to investigate that domed structure?

Takahiro wipes his blade clean.
Curiously, he then takes the time to pray over the fallen bodies and wish them well in the afterlife. The gentle scent of incense wafts over the scene as he taps small bells and mutters gentle prayers in his native tongue.

Once she's made sure the immediate threat is gone, Ouroboreia returns to study the domed structure problem.
"If I understand well, the whole room will collapse if we shrink the fortress. We should take measures to strengthen the walls so that it doesn't happen. How about we use some beams to support the ceiling? Takahiro, Bones, would you help me, please?"
Knowledge (engineering), guidance: 1d20 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 11 + 1 = 21

DM Kludde |

Bertrag and his rescued Ouat monks exit the fortress as soon as the party manages to support the roof with some nearby beams.
The cult of Rovagug has been eliminated from the mines. Bertrag exclaims.
The commonly accepted path toward self-perfection rarely involves revelry, yet when the party make its victorious return, even stoic Tar Kuata celebrates news of the cultists’ defeat. Bertrag narrates his account of the adventurers’ deeds, and Aeotsep warmly congratulates the Pathfinders on overcoming such a trial.
Honoring their bargain, Itephta and Menkha formally transfer their Sky Key component to the Pathfinder Society. Itephta also gives the adventurers a sealed letter to deliver to the Society, extending his compliments and friendship.
Finally, Itephta, being very impressed with the way the adventurers handled the trials, also offers the party honorary admission to the monastery, should they wish to continue their studies.

Takahiro thanks the Monks and promises to return soon to continue to study the differences between their faiths. He thanks the party for their time, then returns to the streets to sit once more on his tatami mat and play his flute, a small copper bowl placed out to gather alms.

Grim also studies the collapsible fortress, and helps in shoring up the ceiling before activating it.

Upon returning to the monastery, and after the invitation to return, Grim thanks the masters and considers it. He had performed poorly in their tests, and his martial training had taught him to constantly adapt, expand, and learn new combat techniques. Perhaps he would return on a furlough...

Glad that she was able to salvage the precious arcane fortress, Ouroboreia now sets her mind to her next task, reporting her findings to Amenopheus concerning the prospect jeweled sage applicant.

Cacumattus chuckles awkwardly at the offer of admission. "I don't think I'm cut out to be a gnome of the cloth, but who knows? Some day I might give it a try." But for now he is glad to be heading for his next adventure...
