Jebediah simply rips the demon apart, just as Nalshene dispels the wall of ice, allowing Narshala to rush in. Glaurung shows her excellent blind-fighting skills and hits the devil time after time. The infernal shielding of the devil make sure that she leaves very little damage, though.

The devil will need to make a DC 28 Will save and then if either of the following Bull Rush attempts succeed, it will also need a DC 28 Reflex save or fall prone. In either case, it will be pushed back by 5 feet for every 5 which I beat its CMD on the bull rush attempts.

The storm intensifies, and two bolt of lightning strike down on the devil. The dragon next to the devil strikes with a claw and nasty sharp teeth, rending the tough skin of the fiend.

An unheard sound seems to wreak havoc on the devil, though the otherworldly strength of the infernal creature makes it shrug away most of the damage.
Nalshene's evocation tricks the devil, and two balls of force pummel the devil into submission. It is pushed all over the place, and battered and beaten, it stops moving.

Amsheagar burns the demon with holy light, then swoops in to smite the devil. Amsheager from above and Jebediah from below scratch and bite at the demon, and finally manage to bring it down.

All around, the students and teachers of the academae are mopping up minor demons, but the worst of the infernal assault seems to have passed.
The students and staff are amazed to see that the demon bodies do not disappear - as would be the case with summoned creatures - but rather remain dead on the ground. The latter seems to indicate that the devils were actually inhabiting the material plane.
An argument ensues between students of the schools of necromancy and summoning, each wanting to study the devils for their own purposes. After some contention, a great deal of shouting, and threats of magical violence, Toff Ornelos emerges from hiding: There are more than enough corpses for both schools to study he says, The Hall of Whispers can experiment to determine what properties the fiendish bodies might possess, while the Hall of Summoning can perform its own tests to determine where so many devils came from, and why they appeared right on the heels of the first champions of the Breaching Festival since the contest’s earliest days.
