This grand, domed rotunda is ringed around its edge by a parapeted balcony. On the spanning dome, some eighty feet above the floor, images of an aged, bearded human signing a contract held by a massive, flaming devil seem almost to glow as if burning, and move as if alive. On the floor beneath the sweeping dome, a massive, luminescent summoning circle undulates and crackles with trapped arcane energy.

Nalshene casts a Quickened summon monster I, summoning a celestial dog. She then pulls out a wand and casts gaseous form on it. "Go, search the rooms behind us and find the devil. Make noise when you find it, then return to me."
The dog follows her orders, poking his gaseous head into two doors before moving toward the third in the hallway.
Even though we can see where he is on the map, I figured we should be scouting anyway. :)

I misread the spell. It does take damage.
Nalshene's puppy picks up the scent of sulphur quick enough, and runs down the hallway, barking, indicating the devil must be somewhere in the back. You'll indeed have to scout, though it's clear the devil is in one of the first two rooms

My reading of that sunlight spell is that the blindness persists for as long as the creature is blinded by the ray of the caster. The wording of the spell is ambiguous to me, but for me breaking line of sight should cause the blindness to wear off after a round. As ever, feel free to prove me wrong.

Glau has blindsense 30' and even if she can't see it (and thus has a miss chance), she will stab anyways. She has Blind Fight so the miss chance can be rerolled. I'll let you determine the logistics if that becomes relevant.

Jebediah rips at the devil from one side, and the dinosaur from the other. Just before Shinkeer is about to grapple the devil, it dies from its wounds.

The devil bursts into flame, destroying all contracts wrapped around his body.
As Glaurung leaves the rotunda, the summoning circle in the center of the room begins to glow brightly, thrumming with vast reserves of power.

Jebediah is the first to step through the gate, and his arrival on the other is greeted by an eruption of cheers! Soon after, the other pathfinders step through. Acadamae authorities on the edge of view begin scurrying about to implement procedures for crowning a victor that have not been employed in over a century.
All is not right, however - even before any of the Acadamae's officials can approach Jebediah, devils of all stripes burst out of the Hall of Wards, streaming across the school grounds and attacking civilians, students, and faculty with reckless abandon. What was a cacophony of excited cheers only moments ago is now a chorus of panic, terror, and pain.
All over the campus, devils pour out, lemures, imps and lesser devils attack the apprentices and gathered crowd. There's bearded devils and biggers ones, but for not the largest threat to the pathfinders is a band of iron-clad devils. A group of warmonger devils scuttle forward upon heavy, beetlelike legs, their gore-slicked, spiked armor gleaming.
