Apologies for the delay, Wrestlemania weekend was a bit distracting. I will post the move to the swamp tomorrow.

Thank you all for sticking with me so far. This scenario has a number of flaws that I'm sure you might have noticed. At our current rate, I don't believe we will finish by the end of the first slot of Outpost. If no one has these characters committed to a table in the next slot, I'm okay with continuing past the end date and finishing out. If you need to be finished in time for another game, I can work on speeding up exploration and areas that don't have anything to be found. (Like I should have with the swamp manor.) Please let me know if we need to take this consideration going forward.

No problem! There's a lot flavor in this scenario that could be easily missed with a more hasty treatment of the material.

Greyveil has a point in that I never went back and made a post (well, one that actually posted, anyway, thanks to the Paizo postmonster) to establish my life links. That is completely on me.
It is something he always does at the briefing by handing out tokens with the Eye of Aroden on them. However, it's the GM's call as to whether that's permissible retroactively.
Grandmaster TOZ |
Since that is how your character normally operates, I would say that they are in effect, unless the party would have objected. (My life oracle never found anyone that did.)
Chusynd Karkota |
I am at a convention starting this afternoon through Sunday. I'll be spotty at best, so please feel free to bot.
Chusynd can disable magical traps (if someone else points them out, LOL) and is firmly of the belief that consumables are meant to be consumed (one of Aroden's guises is that of the Merchant, after all), so wands are always available as needed.

I am flying to Disney today, but will be back Monday. I will try to update from the hotel, but can’t promise anything.

I'm actually curious, is there anyway for our characters to know anything about what may have happened at this lodge in an earlier scenario? I always like it when the story in a scenario references an earlier adventure and this seems to be doing that a little bit.
Grandmaster TOZ |
No problem, I will wait to open the door until tomorrow. If everyone else could position themselves in the meantime, that would help.
Also, the question about knowing anything from the previous scenario is about to be answered. :)

Okay, combat is up! Sorry for the delay, Thursday night's game was CRAZY, and I was wiped out from work last night. We didn't even finish all of the quests this afternoon before we hit the end of our slot. Been a heck of a week. If we can't finish this by PaizoCon, I will continue to post as best I can while I'm there. My schedule has some openings that should let me manage things.
Grandmaster TOZ |
Jet lag got me last night, but I hope to update later tonight after my day slots. Thank you for bearing with me.

I'm going to be out of town starting tomorrow until Wednesday afternoon. I'll try to post, but my post's will probably be a bit more perfunctory. Please bot me as needed!

Can I get a ruling on how this works.
Stardust (Sp): As a standard action, the shaman causes stardust to materialize around one creature within 30 feet. This stardust causes the target to shed light as a candle, and it cannot benefit from concealment or any invisibility effects. The creature takes a –1 penalty on attack rolls and sight-based Perception checks. This penalty to attack rolls and Perception checks increases by 1 at 4th level and every 4 levels thereafter, to a maximum of –6 at 20th level. This effect lasts for a number of rounds equal to half the shaman’s level (minimum 1). Sightless creatures cannot be affected by this ability. The shaman can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + her Charisma modifier.
Do I need to see the creature or know their square?
Would the 'can't benefit from concealment' apply here.
I don't know how spell like abilities with out a reference to a spell works here. I think it supposed to be like farie fire with fewer caveats, but it's hard to tell.
Grandmaster TOZ |
I would have to say that it can’t be used without line of sight. It is a targeted effect, not an area. I believe fairie fire has an area rather than a target.

I will mark this campaign inactive after the weekend. Thanks again for your patience!

Sahess is only my -5 (Looks like it was reported correctly, but sheet shows -12)

My apologies, I didn't update the slide when reporting. Will get that corrected tonight.
