Yeah I just figured if he moved and attacked me I could reach him back. My bad. Didn't even consider reach and all that. And never even looked at the map.

Although, being enlarged does give me a 20' reach now. Would that have reached him? Not real sure how big those squares are suppose to be.

I forgot to list my axe as Commanding/Bane. Will do that next time.

If I wasn't able to reach the golem, would it be possible to move to the point where I can reach him and just use my first attack roll? If so, will use Evade reach 10' to avoid any AoO's if necessary. This dude is a mighty big dude so I'm not real sure how much of a reach he has.

Edit: Never mind. Reread and saw that I got him at least once. Cool. Still gonna roll with Evade 10' just to be on the safe side. :P

Also, just for clarification, you mentioned 90 damage to Thordak but I count 77. If it's suppose to be 90 then no prob, I can roll with that. I just figured I'd mention it just in case the 90 might have been a typo.

Just as an fyi, if he's immune to acid, that last d6 damage on my damage rolls need to be removed.

And apologies for rolling damage twice. It didn't even occur to me until it was too late. But for the record, I actually robbed myself of 7 damage. So, in essence, it actually worked out for the rock dude. :P

I was in another of OGGM games, and I feel your pain.
So... my DM style? I think it can be defined as "realistic". Jump from a cliff to save the princess? Your character makes a "splat" sound when he hits the ground. Something like that.
You can check this GiantSlayer and KingMaker games I am currently GMing for a more accurate idea.
Curiously, I "adopted" both of those games too.

We are currently in Book 5 in the midst of battling a couple of Stone golems. Which are, "faster and quieter than you have experienced before", according to this post by OG.

I'd guess that's how they are built in the AP because he was running the AP straight up. I only know this because he told us a while back. Of course, he could've always tweaked things too. You never know. :)

Praxim is awesome, and he knows it. 'Nuff said.

Rexil is his stone giant cohort.

Lately, Praxim has developed a crush on the new girl, Veronica.

Tomaru and Lym are an item, and they're kind of gross about it (in Praxim's view, at least).

Thordak wants to be an item with NPC Aurora. That's definitely gross (in everybody's view).

Nobody wants to be an item with Rexil, which is sad.

Lol! It's not THAT gross! Lol! (That's just wrong, man) :)

Okay, just to be clear, maybe Thordak did have a slight crush on Aurora. But, unfortunately, we lost the player who played Aurora. So Veronica is her replacement(aka Navior).

Right now, Dax is NPC'ing Aurora. But at some point we need to find a spot so she can leave and Dax can continue on with just Tomaru. Hopefully sooner rather than later because running 2 pc's is pretty taxing. But I'm not sure exactly how that can be done at this point considering we're stuck underground. At least I think it's underground. Maybe it's just a building. Whatever the case, it's inside.

Actually, Veronica is just the newest party member and has been with them for less than a day of game time. She happened to find the gate to the Runeforge that the party left open and followed them in.

It might be useful to know that this group has access to our own permanent lesser demiplane, Castle Lym. (I am so taking Create demiplane and adding a big jungle as soon as possible. :p)
The plane is covered by the effects of a permanent Mage's sanctum and a permanent Hallow with Invisibility purge active.
In effect, our demiplane is invisible to scrying, and any intruders who manage to sneak inside in spite of this won't be able to hide for very long.

In addition, I've outfitted everyone (?) with spell tattoos of Protection from evil. A few party members also took on other spells.

As for Lym herself, well... An Evoker who can also Craft magic weapons and Inscribe magic tattoos. A healthy interest in blowing stuff up, paired with a fascination for other types of spells. In a pinch, she can also wield a falchion -- and I'm thinking of making Mage's transformation part of my steady lineup of spells, if we're going to keep running into things with SR. ^^;

Heh, yeah. In all humility, pairing Create lesser demiplane with a permanent Mage's sanctum was one of my better ideas. :)

I have also scribed several scrolls of Plane shift (one for me, one for Tomaru and one for Aurora) for those pesky emergency situations when we need a quick exit to Castle Lym. Because there's no place like home. Especially when that home is invisible to radar. ^_^

Ummmm yeah I don't think so, palsy-walsy. But he's found a new lot in life by giving Praxim as much grief as possible while the mighty paladin falls all over himself trying to impress Veronica. And that includes even if he doesn't fall all over himself. ;)

Castle Lym is great as a place to store stuff we need but don't want to carry around.

Well, yes, in a way. Dax is using an old alias with Aurora's pic in it. That was our resident blaster he's botting until we can have her fly off into the sunset. There was no sense in making a whole new alias so he just went with an old one and changed the pic.

If you look directly below Dax in the Player's tab, you'll see Aurora.
