BACKGROUND
Veronica was born to a travelling Varisian clan. From a young age, she excelled at arts, particularly dancing, and by her teens was considered one of the best dancers in the clan.
She also had an intense interest in simply gathering knowledge, particularly about history. Whenever her clan passed through cities, she would spend most of her time in the local library. In her early 20s, in a desire to learn more about the world, she left her clan and joined an adventuring group. For the next few years, she and her group had many adventures exploring the old ruins that dotted the Varisian countryside.
Eventually, the members of her group began to tire of the adventuring life. One by one, they moved on to other endeavours. Veronica, however, still felt the urge to do more. Although part of her would have welcomed a return to her family and clan, the greater part of her didn't want to give up the life she'd become accustomed to. So she decided to keep doing what she'd been doing, even if she had to do it alone. Unfortunately, doing things alone is proving somewhat lonely.
Veronica is a gregarious individual, prone to being quite talkative. While her search for knowledge has formed a major focus in her life, her first love is (and probably always will be) dance. She will take any opportunity she can find to dance and often subconsciously starts doing small dance moves when there's little else going on--especially when she is otherwise standing still.
She is also accomplished in oratory (she has quite a smooth tongue) and acting, and has some skill at comedy. While she is technically just as accomplished a singer as she is a dancer, she is very critical of her singing ability and generally needs to be pressured into it before agreeing to any singing.
