I've been messing up the damage taken on the drones (to benefit you guys) so no biggie. I'll keep it as is for now with these 4 your fighting. They aren't actually destroyed until they take a wound. I've been destroying them for you guys on shaken.
forget about the no exploding dice on damage. we are going to keep it so they explode. i'm not going to explode the ones i already rolled so no biggie.

Everyone gets their first 5xp. You can't get more power points until you reach 20xp I believe.
So for the first advance you can purchase 1 of many things:
* Gain a new Edge.
* Increase a skill that is equal to or greater than its linked attribute by one die type.
* Increase two skills that are lower than their linked attributes by one die type each.
* Buy a new skill at d4.
* Increase one attribute by a die type. (You may only choose this option once per Rank. No Trait may be raised above a d12 without super power)
* Super Power Points (5 Points, may only be taken once per Rank - You all already took it for the Novice Rank)

Does it make sense to increase Spirit to d12? If not, I will hold out to gain the next set of power levels on the Superpower continuum.

up to you. there is no point in saving exp. Basically in SW every 5xp is an advance so you get to pick something. Look at some of the edges. Some things may be useful like dodge or hard to hit if you qualify for them. Or look at edges you like and don't qualify for yet and start working toward them.
Also if you want to own that gun you need to increase your Str to d6 so maybe that's what you want to do now so you can use that gun without having to always spend 2 power points to increase your Str.

Teleport no. Telekinesis unless you used more than 6 power points will only put you at d12+1 same as Eclipse which is max weight 400lbs but you could put all 6 points into super attribute Strenght and have d12+2 or d12+3 if you use your edge to bump it to Str d6 so you can use that gun without using any powers that you wanted.
d12+2 is max weight 1000 and d12+3 is 1ton max. You would be encumbered either way at +2/+3 but you could at least carry it.

I will spend all of my power points on Super Attribute to increase my Strength to d12+2 enabling me to carry the machine to this damn underground lair.
Spend my 5 XP on Spirit moving my die to d12.

giving you guys 5 more exp for another advance. If you didn't use your first advance you have 2 to spend. Let me know what your going to use your advance on. Check out the Edges in the core book there are some good ones in there and some higher rank ones that may require some other things to be bought first so don't just jump to only bumping attributes up. When you guys get to 20xp you can use that Advance for more power points (5).

Danger Sense is nice. You could up your Agility so your ready for Dodge when you become seasoned which makes it harder for ranged attacks to hit you. Doing the spirit d12+1 not sure gonna be super useful cuz not all the powers use spirit once activated.
Alertness - +2 notice isn't that bad either.
raising some skills so you don't have to rely on increase skill super power could be useful for some things to.
