hmmm what do the buildings look like, in particular the ones nearest the melee? i was thinking of animating one of them to go and shield the ice man from his attackers until everyone can talk it out. or maybe they'll just bash the doors down, hah.

Here's my issue: I entered, specifically saying that the snow storm was non damaging(Which Wolf said was fine, aside from 1d6 damage). Then I went to bed. I awake to find myself being attacked.

Had I an opportunity to have done so, as soon as Alton made his comment about snow angels, BEFORE combat(surprise rounds included), I would have fallen to the ground and began making my snow angel. But I couldn't, cuz I was asleep. Almost seems like I'm being screwed over for having to go bed, which by the way, was like 2am for me.

You're being attacked because you appear to be hostile coming in the way you did, and specifically because you're using your offensive abilities to come in through a snow storm... I'm pretty sure you have/can have control weather... Which could of done what you wanted without flavoring, you'd just be casting a high lvl spell before coming in. You even clarified it as those offensive abilities.

Seeing a melee break out Mr. Ziggles is itching to slash something. Someone had said something about a pain train?

"A pain train eh? Well here is the Pain Dozer.."
Then leaning forward and tickling the rhinos ear he whispered "Mr. Heavyfoot. Stomp."

With that Mr. Heavyfoot starts trundling forward, gaining speed and momentum, finally lowering his head when he reaches Sir Henrique, a look of slack-jawed horor on his finely chisseled face at the sight of the 2 tonned armored juggernaut coming his way.

Here is what has happened.

TTT in surprise round got to the possibly threatening figure.
Oom casted a spell.
Sir Henrique jumped into the fray to trip and disarm TTT, though failed.

Wilber moves in and hits the Ice King once.
Ivanna says a few pretty words to the halfling.
The pain train gains speed and tramples through everyone until it gets to TTT and gets stopped in its tracks.

All the trampling damage is non-lethal.

Ice King while being trampled, has a contingency spell that teleports him away.

Ice King:
You are now 250 feet away from the group, feel free to come in less threatening or however you choose, sorry for the issues.

Did I miss anyone?

All of the buildings look to be delapetated hovels, almost falling apart.

@GM, Sorry about that. I'll make sure my posts are all productive. But now that the "fight" is over, let's hope that when Ice King re-enters we all have a more peaceful gathering. I know I was partly to blame for that and should have thought about inciting more reasons to hit the trigger.

After witnessing the strength of only a few of the individuals, Ivanna knew that she was clearly no match for any of them on a head on confrontation. Even the man that came with the blizzard was unphased by her magic and managed to escape a brutal beating that would have killed most men and beast alike. Perhaps the fate of the ice wizard was do to the work of someone else.

Ivanna turned to speak to the halfling this time, "Did you have something to do with casting that man in the blizzard away?"

Calling out to those further out, "Perhaps now would be the best time to decide what we wish to do. I know that some of you are here by chance, while others for specific goals. These goals might best be obtained as a group."

Thinking to herself, "Yes, these men are strong and could all serve me well. If only I could find the strings to make them dance..."

it's funny you say your armor is +10 but don't say how, so until you finalize your gear you're exactly at the ac you say, which means the first two hit if not more. Second, if you want cast while I'm there go for it... which means you spend your standards to buff it. We can't "say you ac is higher" without a mechanical reason for it, same reason I didn't say my cmd was a 90... there's no reason for it to be.

-edit- also you don't have how you get a NA of +8, you have no gear listed etc... seriously why are you fighting something you spend so little effort trying to interact with?

Alton and anyone else using Detect Magic or Arcane Sight:
Yes, you see many magical auras, all over the place, they seem to be just springing up all over the place, over and in the ground, the plethora of auras on each individual around you, there even seems to be some floating glyphs. Out in the water about 250 feet away, you can see a massive glyph, you know you shouldn't be able to see it but, it must just need you to have some form to see magic and it reaches out and enhances you to see it, that only makes sense. Crap! Will Save DC 30.

The rest of you can see...

Perception DC 20:
There appears to be ripples in the water, some 100 to 200 feet out in the lake. Then bubbles. Then almost a geyser.

Perception DC 12:
The water seems to have a turbulence in it far out. Small clouds seem to be forming out of mid air, the snow clouds seem to be evaporating faster than the little ones near you are forming.

Perception DC 0:
The weather seems to be changing. Subtle effects are happening around, you can't tell much. Too much blood in your eyes. :P

Ivanna has the Augment Summoning feat, so it has an additional +2 Att/DMG/CMB/CMD, and +24 HP. Going to assume HP is normal and not maxed like the PCs. The demon has a constant True Seeing effect.

Upon the arrival of her new minion, Ivanna commands the demon, "Use your Mirror Image effect and keep a look out for me. Your eyes as better than mine. I do not know what threat we face, but I am sure it is one that will require all our efforts."

"An interesting proposal. Control the summoning, but to what end? And to become a god? That would be quite interesting. The things I could create... limitless!"

also, Mr. GM Wolf: The Tinkerer has an ability on his analyzer that allows him to escape maze spells. I understand that this is not necessarily the same as the spell, so I don't imagine it would get him out of it immediately or anything, but would such an ability provide him with a bonus of some sort in the maze? Just wondering, if not - no big deal.

The Tinkerer:
Good to know, you won't have to do those saves then. But there is a maze on a demi plane that you must go through first, to find the control room. I would give you a +2 to the survival check to get through it.

"There is more to the summoning, a floating city or castle of sorts will be forming. It must take one individual to make a strong connection with the heart of the castle. there are many ways of becoming immortal or changing yourself into an outsider, though a god there is but a few through the summoning at least three gods will be formed. Good luck and beware of even those around you."

Ivanna, you are correct. The Demon nods to Ivanna.

You go into the house with Baris, "Since it is just the two of us this should go much quicker." Baris waves his arm and a hole appears in the corner. Baris jumps in and travels down the tunnel after 60 feet of weaving through the tunnel Baris stops. Two ways to go one for a rat or smaller creature like that and one for the size of a halfling. "What is your name? Can you get smaller?"

My name is Oom, this is as small as I go.
He is pretty small. as in diminutive.

Baris is small, "Come on the smaller the better!" then he turns into a ferret. The ferret then goes down in the hole for a rat or smaller creature, Oom can easily follow.

Soon enough you both reach a room, where the ferret turns into a halfling again. "Oh good, no one is here, if they were they would be sitting on the throne."

Will Save DC 25 or be compelled to go sit on the Throne Oom.

Swim DC 10 allows most people to stay a float.

Swim group, once you get within 50 feet of the temple, A DC 25 swim check means go gain no progress fail the DC by 5 and you lose 30 feet of progress. A DC 30 means you make progress, 30 feet. Thus you will need two successes to get to the temple.

White Door individuals do you cast any spells on yourself before you walk in? Do you do any other actions before going in, please be very descriptive.

Once through the White Door:

Maze - Will DC 32
Banishment - Will DC 29
Illusion of Madness, something big and slimey charges you act accordingly unless save vs. Will DC 33

Once you have passed the initial spells, then you must decide on how you will traverse the maze in front of you.
Survival DC 10 (1d4 hours), DC 20 (1d6 x 10 minutes), DC 30 (2d12 minutes)

Once every 30 minutes you must make another save vs. the madness.

Heading towards the Black Elm Tree

You don't see anything with a cursory look over the area, and neither does your demon. What do you do?

Perception DC 20:
You see vines slowly moving below in the ground, they seem to be about 30 feet around the tree.
