Azulth the Slayer |
I actually asked that preemptively and looking over the archetypes presented, none of them really fit Azulth all that well. Really there are very few changes to be made.
EDIT: Actually, I'm going to pick up the Cleaner archetype for Azulth, reflecting his use as an assassin and robber. It replaces the Track ability with gaining Deceitful as a bonus feat, and replaces one of his slayer talents with an ability called Without a Trace (which will make it a huge pain in the ass for anyone trying to pin down evidence that Azulth was present anywhere--maybe not coming up in this game, but hey, it's a neat trick).
It'll replace a little bit more later on, but that's all for now, and I'll put the info up in the profile. However, with your permission, I'd like to replace Azulth's ranks in Survival with ranks in Disguise, as it fits him and his new abilities better.

Sorry folks, I have had a sour stomach that kept me in bed for a couple days and just recovering from it besides my other normal duties during the weekend. I hope to catch up on all games today, please forgive my absence.
BloodWolven |
I will be away for the weekend, I am pretty sure I will have no internet. Unless they put up a tower in Packwood or Randal, and still then it likely will not reach the camp grounds. I will be heading off Friday afternoon and likely be back Monday afternoon. Last vacation before plunging back into substituting.
BloodWolven |
Dont worry about it. I have been busy and sick on and off. I totally understand when the internet goblins get your posts.
BloodWolven |
Make sure it is obvious if you are speaking to an NPC so that I can respond. So far it looks like you are just talking amongst yourselves.
BloodWolven |
Sorry everyone I have been given an extra workload right now and my insomnia has been kicking my butt. So I have been trying to catch up on sleep and can now understand why sometimes you can't get posts up. Please forgive me and I will have us caught up soon!
BloodWolven |
Sounds like that is all of us. Post when you can and I will try to keep up with your guys' pace.
Azulth get in when you can!
Loup Blanc |
Hey everybody,
This is a message I'm putting up in most of the games I'm in here on the forums. I feel bad about having to do this, but I'm dropping many of the games I'm in on here--pretty much everything that's been moving at a good clip. Life's become very hectic lately, and I don't see things calming down any time soon. Between everything that's been happening, my focus has been spent elsewhere, and I'm just not able to put in the time and effort to keep up with play-by-post right now.
I've enjoyed all the games I've been in here, and it's a lot of fun. You all put it in a ton of effort and excitement, and I'd love to do the same, but right now I'm not able to do that on a regular basis. It would be unfair of me to keep going dark for days or weeks at a time, but I don't think I'll be able to avoid that for a while, and I need to focus on other things right now. I'm really sorry about having to do this, but life has reared its ugly head, and I hope you all understand.
Again, I've enjoyed my time with you all, and hope that you continue to have great gaming in the future. I look forward to the day when I can return to these boards and join new games, and maybe even play with some of you again. But for now, I have to part ways from you all.

Arasmes the Eye |
up to GM, fine with me either way.
BloodWolven |
Sorry to see you go Loup. Check in when you get back online.
Arasmes, yes your target is the town. It could be easily said is in a valley, but more accurately just between mountains. The call of the carrion king from the Pale mountain is cried out and a responding cry comes from the town, nowhere else.
I am fine with you offering an opening to someone else or posting in the recruitment.
Lord Foul II |
Ok, I offered the slot to two of my friends, one said no the other said yes, it took a little under a week to hash out the details, but we've got a very well done character
First off the character' a gnoll, ranger/monk (empty hand)
The character's a gnoll who doesn't really care for other gnolls. Self-centered and lazy, he has no desire to work with slaves, and thinks that he could do better with other, civilized races, and manipulating them into doing his work for him. He thinks that the slaver reputation makes life harder for the gnolls then proper social manipulation.
Otherwise, he's just as lazy as any gnoll, and has quite a plethora of gnoll tendencies- he's still a scavenger, after all.
During combat, he becomes a bit of a blood knight, becoming quite the adrenaline junky. He never takes any combat truly seriously, and prefers to fight dirty., often taking the enemie's weapon in order to beat the heck out of them
He has a hyena animal companion.
GM Wolf |
OK, nice to meet you icehawk, I think we have met before.
Let's see what you got! Any suggestions on how to bring him in? I sure hope someone knows him otherwise it will be a hard sell, then again he could just be an outcast and waiting for the next easy meal, unfortunately you guys wander upon him next.
BloodWolven |
Right, right! So you going to show me the character?
Lord Foul you going to post more?
I am waiting on you guys.
icehawk333 |
Sorry, I'm trying to get it done, but haven't had time to make a stat block until today.
I'll get on that soon.
As for getting him in, he's Probobly among the gnolls you'll be dealing with soon, and will turn to you once he sees someone more powerful then his tribe, favoring you anyway, as he never really got along with them anyway.

BloodWolven |
Sorry Icehawk but I am confused at your class selections, are they both monks?
I have no issues with you being a gnoll, the others might but perhaps you can plead your case one way or another.
Though you must be a really lazy gnoll that does not care for leadership for your power is greater than any gnoll or even any creature in the town or surrounding area.
It might be more logical to bring you in as a trapped individual from the past.
___
We just have to get the group moving!!!
BloodWolven |
LOL, no you are not lagging the campaign. I am hoping that with you in the campaign it can get to moving again.
A captured human or another race might be best or he is a captured gnoll. The last of his tribe perhaps if we keep you as a gnoll?
So since Brawler is basically a monk with a fighter mix you would not be able to gestalt them together. So select another ACG class that does not have monk or fighter; or change your monk class into another one that is not monk or fighter... You get the picture right? Did I say that right? I ask because I have barely looked at the ACG.

TERRIBLY SORRY!
I just checked my book, and i had it wrong:
Parent Classes: Each one of the following classes lists two
classes that it draws upon to form the basis of its theme.
While a character can multiclass with these parent classes,
this usually results in redundant abilities. Such abilities
don’t stack unless specified. If a class feature allows the
character to make a one-time choice (such as a bloodline),
that choice must match similar choices made by the parent
classes and vice-versa (such as selecting the same bloodline).
BloodWolven |
So the gnoll is fine as is correct? Perhaps with some redundancies but that is your choice.
Lord Foul II |
Sorry for any and all hold ups, I'm adjusting to switching jobs (better pay, more hours, first time on the night shift, physically intensive job)
When I finally get home I'm exhausted and my time I'm conscious and able to post is limited
I should adjust soon, but in the mean time posts may be slow
BloodWolven |
I think human would be easier to explain logically and not be as disruptive.
