Quick double check Ziggles... do our characters know each other?

I know we talked about it before but my character was more into experimenting on live subjects at that stage in the concept so I wanted to double check.


Hmmm... Dont know.. You still want them to? l would like it if they still knew eachother :) Let me read up on your guy a bit first, then Ill figure out how they knew eachoter :)

As for my guy. His crunch is largely done. I think I am about 600 or so gold over the limit but I still want to buy potions and such so still doing a bit of tweaking there.
as for the flavour, I got a description up but thats really about it at this point :P I am working on it! Honest!


Keep working guys, right now I am trying to see who is willing to RP and keep working on the crunches.

Since I will be putting lots of hours in creating encounters for this group. I don't even know what I would throw at a group of 4 20th level PCs let alone 15. CR 35? Heh, Well creatures will be tested and we will see where it goes.

yeah, after 8 players, encounters walk a very thin line. They are either too easy or way too difficult; hard to find middle gound. Because a single creature that much above CR would be super high in difficulty (if given the right defenses and offenses), I'd suggest using 2-6 creatures (each still above our CR). Perhaps... 5 CR 23-24s? or Roughly around CR 30. It will still be listed as an epic encounter, but would make it 3v1 and a fairly comparable difficult to epic rated encounter for a normal party size. The beauty of it, you can just make one creature and all of them be the same to save you time.

Just my thoughts on it. Hope it helps!

and i would say that Ivanna probably has the right of it when it comes to challenging us. i played in a lv20 game with mythic playtest rules and some "Horrifically Overpowered Feats" and that is what we typically were challenged by, i feel. in the few fights we had, anyway.

yeah that's what I mean, I completely missed that someone was referring to me, because rather than quote my comment or use my characters name, they referred to me as the man who wrestled beasts... which I didn't realize until several readings was me because I was wrestling a beast.

near as I could tell most people were "outside" of the town, some in a nebulous "in the town" and me "in the town square"

My guy is at least not heavily armed, is good natured, and is literally wearing no armor =D

He's friendly as all get out.

I thought about doing the artifact thing, but my specialty is letting others do all the work, so it wouldn't matter much.

And actually, Tate, your "where's all the women" comment is what did it for Ivanna. Though, I did have a flash back of 8-bit theater and Dead Alewives. :D

well, bloodlines are something that the tinkerer has analyzed in those that didnt make the will save vs his ability, however since he didnt make your caster level check to overcome your defense, he didnt analyze your blood. i believe Ivanna did a nature check for Ooom's fey nature (if present) so i figured Bertram would make a check to see if he recognized it as well.

I've finished the main part of kingmaker and last weekend my RL group and I ended doing some extra mission stuff in the first world. We are just doing the expanded quests.

The only super cool artifacts in Kingmaker are the crowns and then the sword made from love. Forgot the name, Briarcroft maybe? I can't remember as I am a bladebound magus and the sword was given to our paladin.

Other than that, I've only started in some of the APs, but they keep dying out before we get anywhere (except skull and shackles and rise of the runelords, I just keep missin gthe weekend my RL group runs those).

I've played parts of a lot of the different Adventure Paths, but we never make it too far into them and our GM has a tendency to change up the adventure path to a point where I can not say it is still the same Adventure Path.


Some of them have non-detect spells or magical items, thus the alignment is concealed.

Petrov, again I'm finding nothing in your abilities that change the weather without you casting a spell.

IF you're creating winter weather for the sake of a showy entrance, you're casting spells to do it or you're taking very liberal license to affect the world without the abilities to do so.

Well I am going to inflict a few intimidate checks on you and you dont actually get to roll for it. I just need to beat a DC of 10+ your level (20)+ your wis mod and for every 5 points I beat it by you are shaken for 1 round longer. I intend to do a few of these so I figured I might as well make it easier on us if I knew your Wis* (not will save, wis. sorry my mistake).
Also, considering I have an intimidate of 81, I take it that it will be a few rounds ^-^

I've got my crunch in my profile like you do, although I'm curious in yours how you have craft wondrous as a feat since you're not a 3rd lvl caster...
I have the Master Craftsman Feat which allows me to take Craft magic weapons and armor or craft Wondrous Item, using the ranks in that skill I have as my caster level (all of my stuff is built via alchemically :D)

Well I am in luck there :D I have Deadly Rampage which means that you dont get an AOO against me when I Trample and I have the Trample feat So you cannot avoid me either :D

unless DM fiat, you can't take a human racial trait (bred for war) without being human.
Because of the stupid Adopted Trait I just assume that any of the race traits are up for grabs and reflavour it if/when I need to.


Mr. Ziggles if you go into combat the skull re activates. PvP is very possible it is an open world for you guys, so unless someone says something, blows may end up killing someone.

Death match unlikely though what I have seen of Mr. Ziggles he might make it one.


Hey tate, do you have combat expertise or combat reflexes? In your profile you state CE in your attack routine and CR in your feats section :P

@Gm, ya I could quite easily make it a death match but I really only plan on doing 1 attack routine, then I got an interesting idea I will do after that ;)
My guy is CE but I am playing it more as Chaotic Stupid (REAAAL stupid...) so he might be kicking the bunnies but he wont actually achieve anything on any kind of grand evil scheme :)

I figured you'd probably have ways around it with an archetype that specializes in mounted combat, but wanted to point it out since you were asking.

As for demoralization, yeah with your skill it doesn't really matter what my wisdom is lol all that matters is if there's immunity or not to it.

(also I would assume you'd use adopted, but without it written it's never safe =D)

But yeah I keep my crunch in the profile because it makes it clear what you're doing and what the results are, specifically when you forget to post, slow to post, etc...

I have some extra feats in my list because of the whole regular human vs some of the races benefit I was given.

3 skill focus feats from human, 1 from bonus human, and 10 from lvls. total feats I see used are 12. I think I forgot to write it into the feat lines. I'm trying to figure out what I'm missing now. I did this late into the shift at work one night heh.
