: ) How could you forget the haunting glass?!

I added Orin's link to the campaign info page.

What? Poor Kereek is poor too! Some of us gave our favorite magic ring to faeries to save stupid hunters...

Rod of Wonder? Can I have a Rod of Wonder? Puh-lease?

Male Human (Ulfen) Cleric 10

We are rich in store credit. :)

RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

And when you have store credit, who needs anything else?

Male Human Paladin 4 (HP 30/30)

Jon has...

Masterwork Full Plate
Masterwork Composite Longbow (Str +3)
Masterwork Bastard Sword
Light Wagon
Large Tent (Holds 4 People)
Light Horse

Misc adventure supplies.

Total he is slightly under 3000gp, his starting wealth, so he's still in good shape wealth per level wise.

Hardtack and jerky for everyone! Huzzah!

HP 76/76, AC 21, T 14, FF 18, F+5, R+7, W+8, Perc +12, Init +7

+1 jerky?

RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

*sigh* Got about a quarter of the way through an update, and before I'd copied and pasted into another file (which I've been trying to do regularly, especially in this fight), it inexplicably navigated off the page and lost everything.

Too irritated to try again tonight, so I'll post in the morning. Still waiting for a post from Orin, also.

Out of our price range. We'll have to make do with masterwork jerky.

I think Orin is actually a round ahead of everyone else. I posted his round 8 action on Monday night which I think Mott rolled into his round 7 wrap-up. Just take my round 7 action (in which I miss, horribly) and we should be good.

You should write the posts on your computer. Notepad rarely crashes :)

Yeah, the problem tends to be I'm constantly previewing with the dice roller (and then switching to other windows; most of the time I accidentally close the tab or hit a quick shortcut and navigate away from it). I guess I could just plug in to roll a half-dozen d20s and then take the results and type things up using that, but I think I might lose track.

Whoa! CLUTCH stabilization roll, Jon! Wow!

RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Your rolls was just as clutch, Prazil. Akiros was dead if you didn't make it.

OMG, seems like we're going to live through this, after all. Looks like Orin's got some explaining to do.

RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

It was a very, very close call. Though it's not over yet. However, I think so far this has definitely been as epic as you could want the final scene to be in an AP chapter.

HP 76/76, AC 21, T 14, FF 18, F+5, R+7, W+8, Perc +12, Init +7

Whoo hoo! Epic, baby! Yeah!

Agnar! I had a thought and it has been sent to you via PM!

RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

Question: Orin asked me if I'd mind if he used the Spell-Less Ranger class put out by New Paths. I finally got around to looking at it (sorry for the delay, Orin), and I think I'm OK with it (though I want to take another look before I say so for sure). Just wanted to make sure others didn't have a problem with using a 3rd party product.

Male Human (Ulfen) Cleric 10

Third party products are your friend. (Of course, I'm now completely biased because I just finished writing a 3PP book.)

HP 76/76, AC 21, T 14, FF 18, F+5, R+7, W+8, Perc +12, Init +7

I saw the original in Kobold Quarterly and it looked good. I have no objections!

Agnar, what are you writing and for whom?

retired

Is that Marc Radle's spell-less Ranger? Because that *is* a good one. I have no problem with 3PP books either.

Yes it is. I was originally going to go spell less with the Skirmisher archetype, but was underwhelmed by the Hunter's tricks in the APG and the lack of any follow up in Ultimate Combat. I was resigned to my fate until the SLR came out and I thought I'd give it a shot with Mott's approval.

It's a book called Unusual Suspects for the NeoExodus Campaign Setting by Louis Porter Jr. Designs. It's a gallery of NPCs for GM use, representing 19 different factions/organizations in the world of Exodus. It's in layout at the moment, awaiting the rest of the art.

Male Human Paladin 4 (HP 30/30)

Very EPIC.

Male Human Paladin 4 (HP 30/30)

Are we playing that 0 hp means we are conscious or no?

HP 76/76, AC 21, T 14, FF 18, F+5, R+7, W+8, Perc +12, Init +7

I think 0 hp means you're conscious, but you can only take half actions and any strenuous action sends you back into dying territory.

RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

What Kereek said.

Treshiell will heal you next round anyway.

Male Human (Ulfen) Cleric 10

I can channel and heal us all, but with the range on it I'll end up getting some of our opponents back on their feet as well. With Selective Channel I can block one, and I'd rather not make a choice between the Stag Lord and the owlbear...

HP 76/76, AC 21, T 14, FF 18, F+5, R+7, W+8, Perc +12, Init +7

Do we have any reason to spare the owlbear? Maybe a coup de grace is in order?

retired

Prazil would like to ride the owlbear. If that's at all possible. =P

HP 76/76, AC 21, T 14, FF 18, F+5, R+7, W+8, Perc +12, Init +7

We could haul it back into the cage and lock the door. Then you could heal to your heart's content and Prazil gets Beaky the Amazing Owlbear Mount.

Prazil wrote:

Which would be funny right up to the point where it stood up on its hind legs and tried to scrape him off on the nearest wall. From that point, it would be hilarious.

HP 76/76, AC 21, T 14, FF 18, F+5, R+7, W+8, Perc +12, Init +7

Kereek would die of laughter. Right there, drop dead of hilarity. Other than that, I see no reason not to let him.

You could possibly Coup them both and not have to worry about waking one or the other up, says the unconscious guy.

Prazil sincerely hopes Orin is not referring to Prazil and his glorious new savage companion when speaking of coup de gras-es.

Thanks to Kereek, I'm having a Firefly moment.

Agnar: "Looks like we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us, Kereek?"

Kereek: "Big damn heroes!"

Agnar: "Ain't we just?"

OK, I don't want to mess up what you're doing so, I'll assuming you're going to take everyone's weapons and tie up folks (plus I need to check who's actually still alive of those who were unconscious). Let me know if you're staying up or going downstairs, since right now it's not completely clear to me.

Prazil and Fang are going to stay upstairs and guard the bandits. If anyone else wants to guard them, I wouldn't mind another body helping keep them corraled. If one does manage to bolt, Fang can easily run them down.

Hey all, just got home from a marathon trip from Chicago-NY-Chicago and am too exhausted to post much. Just wanted to let you know I'm still here.
Good news is I passed my audition to be on Who Wants to be a Millionaire, now I just have to wait to see if I'm selected as a contestant.

After we rescue Rupert, Orin is going to search for Falgrim Sneeg so he can return the poor unfortunate bastards body to Garess.

Can Agnar Stabilize the wounded bandits, including the Stag Lord and Dovan? If we take them up north with us we could put on some sort of big trial and show the people around that we mean business. Those that are willing to repent could become the nucleus of our city guard/militia.

retired

I'm sure Kereek is more than willing to cauterize all their wounds with his fancy wand too, if the group would like ;P

Treshiell can use her Healing hex to stabilize as well. She just wants them to be tied down before she does so, in case they should wake up from the healing. That's why she pointed for the stag lord to be tied up first. She'd like to talk with him.

Although unless the downed bandits made their stabilization rolls they should have bled out by now. Sadly.
