Edrukk Igmar
I have added a link to a loot list to Edrukk's profile. If no one else minds, Edrukk would like the studded leather armor. Also splitting the money 4 ways, each person gets 56 gp, 80 sp, with 1 gp, 1 sp left over. If we split it 5 ways, starting a party fund, it would be 45 gp, 64 sp, with 1 sp left over.

Just curious, since we are deciding where to go next in the game thread, do we have a map of the areas that we've already explored? I know that the DM suggested that we keep track of where we've gone with the hex map, but I don't know if anyone's picked that up. If not, I'll volunteer, but someone will have to fill me in on where the group's gone already.

Thanks, Draelen. I've got a blacked-out hex map (that I'll post as well) I did in Photoshop that I can send you if you want. Just let me know your e-mail.
Also, quick question. There're obviously going to be a lot of NPCs in this campaign -- I think we've got seven at the fort alone already. Should I just assume you'll remember who everyone is, try to work some descriptor into the text every time I mention someone, or give an OOC reminder at the end of a post about who everyone is? Preferences?
Orin Ro
Orin would like one of Kressle's handaxes, anything else can be sold for cash or credit as far as he's concerned.
Rupert Hentzau
I'm pretty sure that Rupert has got everything he wants/needs for the time being. And yes, Draelen, I had forgotten but I think we are all mounted. The fort might have more horses, or there might have been one or two left over from the first encounter with the bandits.
EDIT: Also, I am always a big proponent of a party treasury. If it ever gets too big, it's really easy to just give everyone 100 gp, or some other easy amount.
Edrukk Igmar
I'll go ahead and say that Edrukk sold the the earring, leather armor, shortswords, and longbows to Stevic, and stored the music box, and any of the arrows and unclaimed masterwork hand axes no one wanted immediately with the one bottle of alcohol he held back. Not counting the earrings, that comes to 485 value, so 242 gp, 5 sp from Stevic. Once I figure out the value of the earrings, I will add everything up and split it 7 ways, with any extra going to the party portion.

Vandar is suitably appreciative of the fine gift you've given him.
Everyone can get 125 XP for exploring the first chunk of the Stolen Lands and surviving your encounter with the Sootscale kobolds in the moon radish patch. Draelen, feel free to put up the map with the hex uncovered (or if you want, I can take care of that).

A list of the NPCs, in alphabetical order (and links to their first appearances!) can now be found in my profile. I've tried to include information you know about them, but feel free to ask me to add/subtract information as you interact with characters and get to know them better. If you start to suspect, for example, that Mikmek is actually the Stag Lord and want me to list that in his entry, I will.

Fantastic job! You continue to impress :)

Yeah, seconded. I'm playing in three different PbP's right now, and this one is the slowest, but it's actually a very relaxing pace for me - especially considering how quickly my other two PbP's move, haha. I never feel like we're dragging here (except in a few parts, like over extended holiday weekends and other expected obstacles), and we're making a fair amount of progress, too. You really stepped up and delivered on this one :) thanks for the great game.
I love our party dynamic, too, by the way. I feel like we have just the right balance of pure power, kindness, charm, wits, and a little bit of craziness that makes the group really fun to play with.

I wasn't quite sure if Rupert was ready to go be rogue-y with Kesten's stuff, so I didn't advance the action over the weekend. Treshiell's got a question out there; Orin hasn't weighed in; Lirisial doesn't seem to be involved in the discussion (but could be a good distraction...). Let's deal with that on Monday and then I'll advance the story.
Also, I don't want to be a dick, but there are a few people I'd like to see post with a little more frequency. I'm fine with weekends being relatively slow, but I'd like to see a post or two a day Monday-Friday; a couple people are doing more like a post or two a week. If you're going to be too busy/away for a bit, please let us all know in this thread and I certainly understand that -- I've got a vacation coming up at the end of the month, though it's mostly a "staycation" other than a few days -- but more people posting will move everything along more quickly. Thanks.
Also, if you should need it for any reason, you can e-mail me at ruethday (at) ptd.net

Not dickish at all. When it comes to me i would go as far as to say that the dick is on the other foot. I'm enjoying this PbP immensly and the only thing i would have to complain about (except the huge number of drop outs in the beginning) is that i'm not able to keep up my posting rate.
The sad fact is that Treshiell is harder to play than i imagined when i first drew up the concept, which regretably results in some of my other character's getting to post when my time is limited.
But with that being said i will try to keep my posting rate to once per day, especially when there is something that awaits Treshiell's interaction.

She is a fun character, but a tough one to make fit into this particular group. Everyone kind of has their own backstory and none of them have really had a chance to blend together quite yet. This tends to mean that after the initial introductions, the party really hasn't done much intraparty discussions about each other. This isn't really good or bad, but it does affect the dynamic of the game.

I really like the character to, that's not the problem. The problem is just that it's much harder to figure out what she will do and what she will say at any given time. I thought that a character with the core principle "wierd for the sake of wierd" would be easy, but i've been proven wrong. Her posts just take longer to write, as apposed to some of my other characters, especially my village idiot of a dwarf in this game whom practically writes itself. Don't know what that says about me though :) But as i said, i'll try pick up my post rate and keep the game going. Because i'm really enjoying the game.
And i think Treshiell is actually quite easy to fit into most groups, since she will happily tag along with most things. Except if the group would venture into the "kill everything for more xp"-path, but that does not seem likely :)

Really enjoying your current discussion, guys. Please assume you're in transit to the east; I don't want to disrupt it by posting a forward advancing of the plot, so I'll try to judge when you seem to have things wrapped up (or just yell at me in this thread). We've been slower on the weekends, but I'll do my best to play it by ear.
Rupert Hentzau
:) I just want to say don't feel like you're ever rushing us through conversations or roleplaying, because those are the types of things that can happen simultaneously along with plot and action. Of course they're very important in any game, but if you feel like the plot should advance a bit you're the best judge for that: we can always continue our conversation while responding to the plot advances, whether through retcon or just continuing to speak in character.
EDIT: Also, should we start looking for another replacement?
Orin Ro
It's been a week since Wandslinger posted last and he did say that he would slow down around May as his classes wound up. I'd say give him a little more time, say Wednesday, before recruiting a replacement.

Vanulf, if your friend wants to submit a character here, tell him/her to go for it and I'll take a look. I was recently in a PBP that folded after two pages due to disappearing DM syndrome, but the players all seemed good, so I may also ask them to pitch an idea.
At this point, I think it's best to replace Wandslinger. Sorry, man, but I'm just looking for a more frequent poster.
