With a bow nearly as tall as himself, Ragnir pulls back and fires two more arrows toward the Manticore, though this time with a little added blessing.

Droja's second Air Elemental slams into the Manticore. The Manticore survives the slam attack, but barely.

The 2nd Air Elemental delivered 9 more points of damage. The Manticore cannot flee from the far superior flying ability of the Air Elemental. It has five hit points left.
Droja looks up hopeful that this is all that is needed; for the Oracle is drained and cannot summon in another.

Ragnir looks on pulls his arrow as far back as he can and looses an arrow.

The arrow sticks into the Manticore. Encouraged, he immediately grabs another arrow and let's it fly.

As soon as he feels the weightlessness he takes his last shot with the crossbow then let's it fall to the ground as he moves as fast as he can up towards the battle.

Round Five
Kaos, with a little magic help, hits the Manticore with a long shot.
The Manticore tears into the second Air Elemental, but it survives.
Ragnir fires a pair of arrows. They fall harmlessly to the ground.
Leira calls out to the party.
Ulfgard climbs higher and higher.
But the second Air Elemental slams into the Manticore. The big winged creature becomes unconscious and tumbles toward the ground.
It lands into the trees with a powerful crashing sound. When the party goes to look at the Manitcore, it is mangled and very much dead.

It takes the party the whole day to make it where you came across a Greater Barghest, and then down the the western valley.
When the party reaches the placed noted as an "N" on the Minderhal's Valley map:
The mountain flanks draw together at this point, creating a narrow pass that is blocked by an impressive wall that spans the entire valley. Sloppily cemented stone and timber make up the wall, which contains a large archway in the center blocked by a massive portcullis of sharpened logs bound together with thick hemp rope.
You will notice two giants on top of the wall, a Hill Giant and an Ettin. Also there are a pair of big cats prowling in front of the walls and large archway.
Everyone has plenty of time for actions prior to reaching N. It is twilight as the sun is nearly fully set along the western horizon. The Ettin, Hill Giant, and two big cats have not noticed the party yet. What do you do? The party is just off the map on the new Ice Mountain Pass map.

Whoa what guys how about we try a more stealthily approach. So we don't bring every giant down on us at once. Do we have anything that can get us on top of that wall before they can raise an alarm? Or something that can incapacitate them long enough for us to get to them?
