"Hill Giants are too stupid. Let's see about one of these one-eyed things," Droja bends over and touches the second dead Cyclops.
Cyclop's Will Save: 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 4 - 2 = 15
The Cyclops stirs and with its dead eyes looks at Droja. Droja nods with a sense realization she has a cooperative one.
"What else is in this valley?' Droja asks the second dead Cyclops.
"This is the end of this valley," the Cyclops responds.
"Why were you capturing the Manticore?" Droja asks.
"For challenges in the fighting pits. This would have been a great prize. It would have given us fame amongst the giants." A certain degree of regret is in the Cyclops lifeless voice.
"Where are these fighting pits?" Droja ask.
"At the Cathedral," The Cyclops responds simply then returns to lifelessness.

Leira marbles herself again at Droja's deeds "Fighting pits... that seems interesting... we should remember this. If the giants like those pits, that might be a way to infiltrate the place"
"If the valley ends here, then I think it is time to move back and take the route to the Cathedral!!!" the girl cheers up seeing the possibility to finally confront the Tyrant and the truth about her own blood. She further explores the giants possessions to see if they have any supplies in good condition that might be easily eaten.

Ragnir was unable to figure out the glasses. He became a bit ill as well.
But he was able to figure out what the gloves did.

Anga, Haskyll, and Leira can make perception checks. If you roll the DC30, then you will be able to wake the rest of the party. If no one rolls a DC30 Perception, then the flying creature will get a Surprise attack.
Edit: @Kaos - That is a good question. I am not certain if this is a situation where Aid Another would work. I can see an argument both ways. Go ahead and make another roll, if you roll a 10 or higher on a straight D20, then I will say with Kaos' assist, Leira will learn the property of the glasses.
I am reusing Winter Map 1 for this encounter.

Droja and Ragnir I got, but Kaos and Ulfgard is just an estimate for your helpless AC. Either way, I believe these rolls will hit. So Droja takes 10pts, Kaos, 8 pts., Ragnir 10 pts., and Ulfgard 6 points of damage. I assumed only Ragnir with Heavy armor would not be sleeping in his armor. If this is not correct, please let me know when you post.

@Anga - It was actually in the AP that the freed Manticore would attack the party when they rested.

Almost as a reaction, the Manticore fires a volley of four spikes down at the Dwarf Wizard.

As almost a reflex action, the Manticore reigns down a a volley of spikes onto Anga. It then flies up higher.
Ragnir gets up and grabs his bow.
Leira takes her bow and fires it high up into the air. The arrow had lost it punch by the time it reached the Manticore. It falls harmlessly to the ground.
Droja gets up and begins to weave a spell.
Haskyll does something heroic.

The arrow sticks into the Manticore. Encouraged, he immediately grabs another arrow and let's it fly.

Anga fires a Magic Missile. It soars skyward only to dissipate well before reaching the Manticore.
Anga's Magic Missile has a range of 180 feet. The Manticore is 250 feet in the air.
Ragnir manages to get an arrow to strike the Manticore, but with only slightly more affect than Kaos' arrow.
Haskyll fires a crossbow bolt up at the Manticore. It harmlessly flies off into the night.
