yup, magical...from your spoiler up in the gamplay: The robe emits the auras of both evocation and necromantic magic. You surmise that the knives or needles can be thrown and if they hit someone will cause them to bleed. it's a Robe of Needles

Also what are you doing with the mumia and book? Some discussion about destroying them but no action taken on that front.

Vash is in favor of destorying the mumia and stripping out anything in the book that deals with making mumia (to destroy it), but keeping the rest of the book intact in case it has useful alchemical stuff in it. He is, however, not an expert in the art of alchemy, so he will leave that to the others more learned than he.

Nimaethep would agree to keeping the book if any reference to mumia and its production could be removed, otherwise she advocates for destroying it, burning it along with the rest of the drugs.

Hi guys,

Apologies for my absence.

In a nutshell, I've was offered and accepted a bunch
of new work that obviously disrupted my activities here.

My time quickly became overcome by my new responsiblities, and
not being the most organized person, I found my free time disappearing.

So wanting the best of both world, this situation forced me to organize a lot better.

Still going to be working a lot, but now I've carved off part of my day for my games here.

Hope you all are still willing to continue!

Sorry I didn't get an update up this week. What with dealing with the renos, finishing moving downstairs so the contractor can start on the first floor on Monday, and getting ready to leave town for the week his morning....

I had been planning to keep up some posting this week, but have decided to leave all my responsibilities aside (work and play) this week. Having a week with nothing to do but have fun with family will do wonders I think for my brain after COVID, allowing me to come back refreshed in body, mind and spirit!

To clarify Vash’s reasoning:

- We have a map with a beam on it emanating from our current compass. It intersects with two other compass locations. We could go to the Southwest unexplored compass location and hope to find an intact crystal with a functioning compass, generating a second beam of light…or we could take this crystal, put it in a different compass, and hopefully get a different beam of light we could put on our map to find an intersection.

Both plans have their upsides and downsides—taking the crystal with us gives us a better chance of activating a compass and getting the location on the map, but actually having two compasses functioning at once with their beams of light going may be necessary to cause the doorway to open or some such thing at the intersection.
