Male Half-Orc Bloodrager (inactive)

"Sounds good, Boram."

Then after a slight pause:
"You do the talking and I'll stand behind you so there's no funny stuff."

Boram starts looking around for a merchant that could sell him a tent big enough for two, warm clothing and possibly some iron rations.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

Primarily a trading post, Shieldfane attracts people intent on eking out a living within the mountains and those hoping to serve inside
the Basilica. Prospectors, miners and others flock to the city. Trading companies maintain stores for adventurers passing through, but their primary income comes from established deals with the Shield. The mercenaries, fighters and holy warriors who travel to the Shield hoping to be admitted into the elite ranks often find themselves living within Shieldfane until they’ve met the requirements to be considered as a warrior of Muir.

The party will travel north through the mountains into the Kaderi Desert arriving at their destination. See the map in the maps section. Let me know what area you wish to explore first.

Male Half-Orc Bloodrager (inactive)

Úrtnechech will have a quick look around when they arrive in the desert to gets some idea of the lay of the land and to get his bearings based on the map...

perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19

"Maybe we should start there," he says pointing in the direction of "P" on the map...

"It's as good a place as any, I reckon"

I'm just assuming that's the closest feature of any interest as we enter from the South.

p works

Following along behind his half-orc friend, Boram also keeps a keen eye out.

perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

You see some ruins in that direction. You spot what appear to be 6 gnolls hiding among them. State your actions for the surprise round and roll init.

how far away are the gnolls?

init: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

Drawing his daggers, Boram smiles as he stays behind Úrtnechech.

Action for the suprise round: Depends on Urtnechech if the half orc moves up Boram will follow, if he wait's for the Gnolls, Boram will wait also. either way Boram plans on moving out from behind Urt and tmble/flank when they get into combat.
