The onset time is 5 minutes. The duration is until you save. Roll once per day until you do.
Only humans and demi-humans are affected.
Boram the Burglar |
Nodding his head happily at Urtnechech, "Ah yeah, cities 'av al' kinds av sweet smells. de peggy dell av a smoke filled tavern. de peggy dell av a smoke filled gamblin' 'all. de peggy dell av a smoke filled Av a 'oor gaff. Even de peggy dell av a smoke shop, wha yer can buy sum proper leaf."
Stick with Boram then Urtnechech, he will teach you about all the important things... Smoking, drinking, gambling, whoring... oh and burgling... walking old ladies across the street... *looks around hoping the nice religious folk don't notice the gaffe*
Turning to the similarly afflicted Ulfgard, he calls out "Gesundheit"

brvheart |

Except for the dwarf and the halfling sneezing and with runny noses the rest of the day proves uneventful. Time to camp.

Úrtnechech |

"Sounds like cities I've not been to." Úrtnechech tells Boram.
But I'ms sure Urt has Boram beat in the 'thumping' department!
After stopping for the day, Úrtnechech will set about foraging for what scraps of food might be about, firewood, and all that:
survival: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

Cayugo Silverspear |

Cayugo slides down off his molly mule, giving the girl a few pats in appreciation, then unloads his gear and begins to gather himself for the evening ahead. He also scans the horizon for storms or other threats.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Then he settles down for evening prayers.
Filling my empty daily spell slots with prayer and spiritual weapon.
All slots will reset in the morning.

Boram the Burglar |
Following Cayugo's example Boram clambers down from the mule, asking "Cud someone unsaddle de mule? oi'm not pure 'andy wi' lorge beasties." He then toddles over to the selected camp, carefully laying out his bedroll. He casually assists in setting stones for a fire ring, then nonchalantly begins to gather wood for a fire.
After avoiding as much real work as possible, Boram beds down telling Bharaz. "Bharaz wud yer wake me whaen so'tiz time for me watch?"

Úrtnechech |

Úrtnechech will unsaddle Boram's mule and unceremoniously plop all of the halfling's gear by his bed roll.
"Not enough exercise, Boram. Cities do that." he tells the halfling in a matter of fact way.
Then he tends to his own mule, Patches, to make sure she's well tended.
Next, he puts his own gear in order for the night.
"Maybe some dinner `round here", he says to nobody in particular.
With that, he takes his longbow out to see if he can get some dinner on the hoof.
"Won't go far", he says before setting out to see if there is any fresh game nearby.
@ brvheart: can I use my last turn's survival roll for a bit of hunting, or should I roll for Survival again?

Boram the Burglar |
Boram smiles at the large half orc, until he realizes that Úrtnechech is dumping all of the stuff on Boram's bedroll. "'ey! why ye drop dat dare? oi 'av me gear. that's de stuff de priests packed for us. oi don't even nu waaat so'tiz."
Putting down the rock he had picked up to put on the 'firering' he proceeds to his bedroll and pushes the extra contents off. "Oi git galore av exercise, oi lift a couple av pint's every noight, whether oi nade ter or not."

Sure, normally hunting and foraging in pathfinder requires you move at half speed during the day but I am sure you can find some rabbits. Take off three arrows. You also see some tracks of some wild horses while you are out.
It is going to be chilly tonight, low of 36.
brvheart |

Whoever is on second watch, please roll perception checks please.

How about: Bharaz, Boram, Tolbold, Urt, and then Cay.
that looks like me.
perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
With the evening turning colder than he likes, Boram is walking about the camp, stomping his feet to stay warm. standing beside the fire focussed on the happy little flames...

Úrtnechech returns from his brief hunting foray with some rabbits.
"Fresh grub! Who wants to cook these up to save on our rations?"
@ brvheart: didn't know about the half-speed hunting rule.
Will keep that in mind for future.
Arrows removed from supplies for Úrtnechech

Cayugo Silverspear |

Cayugo snores softly, dreaming of pie.

Boram the Burglar |
init: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
Seeing the snake, boram draws his daggers, and thrusts the shiny one at the reptile, stepping back away from it he calls out, "ey, dare is a snake 'ere, whoever 'elps me kill it can ayte sum!"
Move action: Draws daggers, attack:+ 1 mitheral dagger, 5 ft step
attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21 for damage: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
how big of a snake? what does Boram know with an untrained knowledge check?

Cayugo Silverspear |

Perception, sleeping: 1d20 + 6 - 10 ⇒ (15) + 6 - 10 = 11 Does that wake me up?

brvheart |

That does hit. The snake darts again at Boram
bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 damage: 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2
Yes, that wakes you up and anyone else that makes a DC 5 perception can roll init for round two.

Cayugo Silverspear |

initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Cayugo bolts upright, climbing to his feet. His armor lays beside his bedroll, but he grabs his spear and nudges Tikati awake. The bird makes an irritated noise. Cayugo huffs. "C'mon, ya want a late night snack?"

brvheart |

Sure you can. I still use the 3.0 optional -10 on skill checks on a natural 1 and a +10 on a 20. Means you can fail bad and succeed well.
Bharaz, with that roll you see a little tiny thing on your skin.

brvheart |

Sorry, the site has been down for a week so I was unable to post it. I will get to it guys.

Boram the Burglar |
Dancing to the other side of the snake, Boram asks, "Chucker yer clap de bloody snake nigh?" He then sends two vicious daggers jabbing at the reptile, first the right then the left.
5 ft step, full attack:+ 1 mitheral dagger/MW coldiron dagger, T. W.

Úrtnechech |

Round 1
Úrtnechech will attack the snake (if it's still alive):
big chop (falcata), main hand: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
(twf, no rage, with arcane strike, crit: 19-20/×3)

damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
(twf, no rage, with arcane strike, crit: 18-20/×2)

Boram the Burglar |
Sheathing his knives, Boram picks up half the snake by it's tail, "Mmmmmm, snake is gran' eatin', looks loike 'tis jist me an' Úrtnechech partakin'." He kicks the smaller half with the head attached toward the half orc, "Yer can 'av dat 'alf, oi allerge eatin' de bake part."
As he finishes his watch, he takes the time to sharpen a stick, and jams it the snake. Roasting it over the dying embers like a hotdog.

Cayugo Silverspear |

"Let's see there, Bharaz..." Cay examines the bite mark, and looks into Bharaz's pupils, nostrils, and ears.
Heal: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

brvheart |

You travel the next day and you come upon a few travelers, but nothing out of the ordinary. Time to camp again.
Sorry guys, Paizo has been real flaky the last few weeks. Hopefully things are good to go now.

Cayugo Silverspear |

Cayugo repeats his evening ritual, unloading his mule, removing and cleaning his armor and weaponry, and eating from his rations. Then he settles down for evening prayers.
Filling my empty daily spell slots with prayer and spiritual weapon. All slots will reset in the morning.

brvheart |

Tolbold and Urt roll a perception check during their watch please.
