That doesn't really sound like something you have to apologize for!
My condolences

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

Condolences.

Wilhelm Orlovsky |

My condolences to you and your family, Kertuffle. As has been said, you have nothing to apologize for.
Sorry about the confusion as far as my actions go. Basically what I would have wanted to do last turn (now that I understand how things are going), is this:
- Ask Rowan if he can speak to the eagle in his current form and wait for an answer.
- Lanya tries her diplomacy (which theoretically delayed his casting somewhat).
- At this stage, I'm still waiting to draw my longbow. If we can still try diplomacy, that is my preference. However, if the druid starts casting, I'll proceed to pull my longbow and smite evil (while Lanya uses her wand and Munin charges in) and then shoot (during the next round).
If it's too late to be retconning things, then we can continue with the 'attack the eagle' plan. :)

Rowan Gideon |

No apologies required. I'm sorry for your family's loss.

Fhârn |

Just to clarify: Fhârns actions this turn is as following:
1 intermediate action to feather fall the druid if it is obvious that he went down as a result of damage, and not as an evasive tactics (wouldn't want him to fall to his death before we can question him)
1 move action to move down the ramp
1 standard action to use 'Send Senses' to place a visual scrying sensor where the eagle was perched, looking down towards where he fell.
1 free action to message Munin and see if he has any better veiw/intell on what the druid is doing.

Rowan Gideon |

Will be away from home for the next few days. I may post a few times from my phone if I'm not too busy.

Wilhelm Orlovsky |

"I think we are past the point of negotiation Wilhelm!"
Probably, but Wilhelm is rather sick of killing between Felix dying and the deaths at his hands. He'll do his duty and stop an evil from escaping justice, but he'd prefer a trial and/or the chance for redemption (not that it seems likely to happen with this druid).

Fhârn |

Best case scenario is if he can capture him and he is actually powerful enough (not that likely) to reincarnate Felix. Then we could probably strike a (more or less one-sided) deal. His life for Felix ?
If we are lucky enough ...

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

BTW, I'm honestly not trying to be difficult in character (at least, this time), I'm just really trying to get Sanita/Felix's body out of the turn by turn combat so we can get him reincarnated and back in the game, he's been out for a couple of weeks now, and the more IC discussion that occurs around his body the longer he sits on the bench.
Given Sanita's kind of impulsive and headstrong, I can use that to push hard and get him back in the game and it's in character. :)

Lanya Beladon Medvyed |

Well the druid has to be at least level 5, because he could use a 3rd level spell. Perhaps he is level 7 but I doubt that.
I would like to question him about my ancestor's allegiance, I think that might spell trouble for us here.

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

Sanita's assumption is it's suicide to attack the group by yourself, and he's committing it in grief and rage. So not likely to be a good source of spell casting. But I bet Oleg knows a few Druids, per our conversations, this place is lousy with them.

Fhârn |

I was more (ooc) thinking of the scrying spell he used =)
IC, Fhârn probably has no idea exactly what this druid is capable of, but he realizes that powerful druids don't exactly grow on trees so we might aswell make use of this one. If we can capture him alive and get him to cooperate =)

Anastacia Stormwing |

I would have thought that Kertuffle and Felix would work something out between them to bring a character for Felix into the game.
Anyway, I'm playing a cleric of Pharasma. Death and the dead are very much her thing. I was trying to roll play that, not argue.

Kertuffle |

Just a clarification on Gentle Repose. It's my opinion that it would allow a body to kept for any ressurection type spell. The only argument I can think of for it not working is that the spirit has already been reincarnated after the duration and that would be a question more of the philosophy of deceased more than anything.

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

No problem Anastasia, I figured ti was all RP, I just wanted to make sure people were aware OOC what the motivation was.
And @Kertuffle, sorry, did not know you had houseruled that. I was going off the strict RAW (I usually find it's safer to assume GM goes strict RAW rather than interpreting generously, saves me headaches). :)

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

@Kertuffle
Couldn't you have given the Stag Lord a magic spear to go with his magic helmet? Then we all could have broken into operatics...

Not a problem, no one knew I was house ruling that, not even me. I always assumed it worked that way.

Fhârn |

It's either use the pea for it's intended purpose - or plant it and hope it summons a giant beanstalk or something...
I'll say use it on Felix .P

Sooo ... The first one is Kobold (would have been awesome!)

Wilhelm Orlovsky |

Sorry, gonna be delayed in posting until later tonight. I'm good with Felix getting reincarnated and am ok with either elf or kobold. You're going to be one heck of a lot of squishy though. :)

Fhârn |

Kindof eerie that he managed to hit two races with negative con mod ...

Fhârn |

Hmm. I wonder what happens to your curse. Does it carry over? Reincarnate cures all "all physical ills and afflictions" but the oracles curses are stronger then that...
Besides, I guess you get to take advantage of Natural Armour & Darkvision (+light sensitivity) aswell.

Lanya Beladon Medvyed |

Actually Fhárn it's good that you brought it up as I also backtracked this piece of information hidden in Lanya's memory.
"Beware the Son, but the Father is our servant."
The Son has to be the Stag Lord and his father, a druid, is in service to a mighty being, I'll bring it up with a story when we're all settled reincarnating Felix and questioning/killing the druid.
As for the scrying part, the image she got when looking at the scryer, aka the druid, was as though she was looking through a shimmering upon a calm water's surface. She saw both the druid and Topper standing togehter, perhaps Topper aided him? The last thing she saw, seemed like a pair of lenses on the druid. I don't know if they were used to scry upon me though.

Fhârn |

Shimmering surface does indeed sound (look?) like water (which, ooc, is the focus for the Druid version of Scrying).
Do we know anything about this mighty being (benevolent or hostile? present in this world or trapped somewhere else [perhaps in a sunken city, dreaming away the aeons until the stars are right ... : )]).

Anastacia Stormwing |

That's the spirit. I am waiting for miss pharasma to in character object.
Sorry to disappoint. Nothing in Pharasmin doctrine prohibits reincarnation. As far as I know. I don't have all the books on the subject, just working with the inner sea world guide. Pharasma is the goddess of birth as well as life, and reincarnation can be viewed as a sort of re-birth.
Also metagame reasons: You didn't deserve to die and you do deserve to be able to get back into the game ASAP.
As for race, please go whichever one you prefer.

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

My wall of Kobold was more tongue in cheek than anything else. :) I think it would be funny, but I think Elf would probably be more useful to you going forward.
As to the curse, personally, I'd transition the curse to something else. Cursed (spirits angered by his reincarnating), or Tongues (new body has a bit of aphasia from not being built just right).

Sanita Malvanna Or'Fana Kalnath |

On a different note, loot wise, Sanita would love a +1 rapier, assuming Felix doesn't run her out of town when he comes back from the dead.
She also would like some resources and a week or two to build up our alchemical arsenal (and a lab to work in!).
Are we taking over this place as a base of operations? With some work I think it would be a good place to base out of.

Kertuffle |

Either kobold or elf is fine by me. Also I'm OK with you keeping your curse although you would be hard pressed not to defend your inability to use your hands as psychosomatic as your hands are now healthy. Although if you were a kobold, perhaps you just can't get the knack of using these claws. You can also use this incident to change your curse if you wish.

Fhârn |

Even better - it's a level 4 Felix with 12 max hp ^^
And a Fortitude save of -2 :P (Anyone got restoration handy?)

Fhârn |

A quick glance at the loot list it appears as if the bandits had mainly rogueish things. Not that weird when you think about it ... =)
If no-one is interested in that magic dagger I'm probably going to pick up Improved Familiar at 7 and it would make a good shortsword for an Ice Mephit or something ^^
