That set of stealth/perception rolls? I forgot to add in +2 for Keen Senses extract. It lasts 10 minutes, so it should still be active since all that couldn't have taken more than 2-3 minutes of chatter before they started sneaking up the tunnel.

Actually Lanya is with us at the tunnel, as far as I know. I'm not interested in the bracers and we don't have a monk, so go nuts as far as I'm concerned. It does seem like it's only going to be of benefit if you don't mage armor up though, so you may want to consider that aspect too. :)

Hadn't thought about the potential for methane, but it seems like a poor choice in general. I've been exceedingly cautious with torches ever since I managed to blow up a warehouse filled with flour. That's metagame of course. :) Wilhelm would be more worried about the mundane being able to breath aspect (consume all the oxygen).

Oh, I know we should :) Generally, on level up and with scrolls that I buy, I'm gonna tend to get crowd-control and transportation spells. I also have to learn a divination spell every wizard level.

For example, next level, I'm almost certainly learning beast shape I and clairvoyance/clairaudience.

Having three wizards in the party, even if one of us doesn't learn spells at new levels now and the other two of us are gonna stop eventually, is kind of awesome for spell-lists. And, of course, OOC, Dareon will almost certainly let all of you learn from his spellbook sooner or later.

Short of Bej sleeping in the barrow and casting an illusion when someone comes to look, there's no hiding the fact the barrow was opened. A wand of earth shape might help too. I think we are basically at the point where we may need to decide we're using the passage first thing in the morning or not at all.

On the topic - Fhârn would probably be interested in exploring the Spell Research rules if we get significant downtime. Always wanted a spell named after my own char :P And he would not object to spell sharing either

There will be downtime. Honest. Once the kingdom building phase starts in earnest. There probably won't be until the immediate area is explored, however. Once you do have downtime, I'm OK with Spell Research, but please give me a detailed description of what you want the spell to do. And you invent it, you get to name it.
