Hemmings you could attempt to stealthily move to the stairs for upstairs or for the secret door to underground.

The one with the fog around its feet is the original figure. This new one in the robe, also has metal plated bracers and gauntlets, though he is a pale elf, with long pointy ears and white hair.

Hemmings Perception check, 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

Perception DC 20:
The pale elf, is bending over Tali, he asks her several questions about Kirren, and their relationship. He nods, then taps the other figures gauntlet which a red gem on it turns to blue and that hand then goes to her wrist.

The pale elf gets up and walks towards the group. "I am Cornash, and this is my establishment, sorry for any confusion, and who are you?"

Locke has been running around making sure the townsfolk are not hurt, healing those that need it, and making sure goblins are dead.

If your character wants to do something specific, use a check that makes sense and roll it. I might have you do another check, but feel free to take the initiative.

Cornash has taken over the inn along with a subordinate of his. That surbodinate radiate a powerful aura of fear. I was the only one able to resist it really. Long story short he is back with vengence and looking for those that betrayed him. He is interrogating Tali. On other news we are subduing the fire. Any instructions for us regarding the inn?

Seeing Vuvu barges in inside the inn, Tyrel will immediately come to his side,

"Stop, proceed with caution. This figure casted an enchanting spell earlier causing the rest of us to run away, panicking for our lives. As far as I know, it is Cornash."

Hemmings will try to move stealthily past the group in the doorway, looking for the secret downstaris entrance he saw Forsend and Drake use before.

Cornash looks at the paladin with a curious look on his face, then he smiles. "My minion here is now healing Tali, my granddaughter. She was just doing what she thought was right, in protecting the inn and her father, I can't hold that against her."

Drake responds to Arsil, "Let Cornash do as he wish, I just deal with whoever the owner is, I have worked with him in the past. Are the goblins taken care of? Fire, oh yes goblins, good keep it under control."

Yup, if you wanted to find the good stuff a perception would be best. Though you did find 6 gems each worth 3d6 gp. Which is the good stuff, also there is coins.

Cornash laughs at the statement, "My minion is just very fearsome, as you can tell he has repressed the aura. I could demonstrate if you wish?" Raising his eye at the two of them.


Hemmings you get to the room you think, not noticed. You get to the fireplace, and eventually find the hidden switch, hit it and go down the stairs. At the bottom you can either go right, left, or forward into a small alcove.

Arsil will put the object into her pocket since vuvu has left in a hurry and will head back toward the inn.

I am very confused as to what is happenimg now. I thought Arsil had left the inn. I said i was goin into the inn. From what I understood, Hemmings entered some time before me and possibly Tyrell as well. In any case, am I with Cornash and his minion now? I think you may have missed my last post.

Seg, I don't think your last post made it through. Presently, Hemmings is away from the group. Tyrel, Seg, Vuvu, and Ash are all in the Dragon's Draught conversing with Cornash, his minion is next to him and healing Tali. Arsil was outside, but presently shows up.

Unless specifically hiding behind things, which no one but Hemmings has stated so far you are all in line of sight of Cornash and his minion, but Seg if you want to come in hiding go ahead and do a stealth check.

"You attacked them?!? " Cornash asks his minion, then states, "And they are not very bloody at all I am impressed."

"No I did not attack them, merely frightening." The minion says.

"Oh, well." Cornash figures. Then Vuvu comes crashing in. Cornash askes Tyrel, "Is this brash one with you?" Pointing at Vuvu.

Yes, this is Vuvu. He is one of the bravest man I have ever seen fight. He is brash and quick-tempered but his heart seems in the right place. I am Segregius Balatorius. I understand you are the owner of the Dragon's Draught?. We assumed in your absence that another man, an elf, was the owner of this inn.

Walking around the room, Seg goes to his sword, wich he picks up and scabbards right away, and to any other weapon wich may have been dropped during their flight.

You can see a latch of some kind just out of your reach, it is attached to a small metal plate that is on the wall in front of you. There is a lever to your right. You don't hear much of anything.

This being said, Seg goes to his room to gather his belongings before leaving the Dragon's. He exits the building and gies where Vuvu piled the goblins, waiting to see if anyone else will meet him there.

I talk to drake and he said that he will work with Cornash and deal with it when he returns. We are are to go with our business as usual, dealing with the goblin, the fire and the local population.


Vuvu heads back to Arsil. He holds out his hand for the communicator.

Someone find that halfling he owes me money or an item.

Vuvu will then go about gathering all the goblin loot into a pile, which he will sell once everything calms down See Discussion for the amount everyone will get. DM can tell us when that actually happens

He will also attempt to appraise the small jewelry box, made of cherrywood, with some ornate symbols on it. A few feathers woven together.

Hemmings:
You do not find any traps, you pull the lever and the wall in front of you slides into a hollow section in the wall to the right. Before you is a room, luxary carpet on the floor, expensive tapestries on the walls, Forsend out cold on the floor 10 feet in front of you, both Drakes moving about, one at a globe, and the other checking maps and books. The room is about 40 feet x 40 feet, with a door on the far side. Three desks with chairs, a large table with the globe and papers on it, 2 lounge couches, and 4 plush chairs with a dining table between them dominate the room. The Drake reading the documents looks your way, "Yes, Hemmings?"

"Well I don't want to be hypocritical, thus I will give them lodging for a week, and I am sure we can come to an accord or I will give them a decent discharge rate, assuming Kirren didn't rob me blind. Tell the women to return to their rooms and it will be in their best intrests, no threats implied or given." Cornash says to Arsil, "Thank you for being the mediator for this dispute, Arsil was it? I am sure I will remember that name." He winks at you as he begins to walk away.

Arsil will give the news to the leader of the woman's group and ask them to think about it
She will point out, if she understood correctly that all the woman will be free and not forced to work using their charms if they don't want.

Arsil will also give her share of the spoil in cash to be distributed to the girls that do wish to resettle elsewhere.

Tyrel it looks like i will be able to mediate the girls situation. she says as she passes him by on her way out.


The women that are left thank you Arsil, for speaking for them.
"Is it safe to enter now, or should we wait?" One of them asks.

If you say it is safe another asks, "Would you be so kind to escort us to our rooms." Another one pipes up, "Yes, yes, yes, we can thank you for helping us!" Many of the other women look at Tyrel in curious winks. A few of the women do the same of Arsil.

No worries the big, strong and courageous goblin slayer Tyrel and i will escort you all. i'll take this chance also to clean up this goblin's blood is sticky.

you should have seen him rushing to vuvu's aid and dispatching 8 goblin's that was threatening his life.


The girls coo and awe at the sound of his heroics. The girls follow Arsil and Tyrel, one girl on each of your arms as well. A few girls separate from the group to go faun on Seg and grab his arms and hands and playfully start to pull him to come in and let them thank him appropriately.
