Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Vuvu & Locke :
A little bit later arsil will tell Locke and Vuvu all about the coursal: This is indeed a rare creature you have here vuvu, how did you come about it? It is a coursal an animal compagning to the fire gnomes. They share with the Hell hounds a sense of loyalty but they aren't evil. They have a fire breath weapon they can use every so often. Of course they are immune to fire and a lesser resistance to all the other elements. They can also have a latent growth aura, which accelerates plant growth in the area they are in for more than a day

I cut him out of a cocoon made by spiders.

Vuvu kneels down with Ash Growth huh? Well perhaps you can help me grow some herbs to heal folks. Vuvu hugs his friend and scruffs his fur.

[b]Maybe I can find you some meat for dinner tonight.

"Now that you think of it Vuvu, why didn't he burn the ashes?"

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Vuvu & Locke :
Well is will be a loyal friend to you i believe. But be extra careful he is a rare oddity and therefore valuable.

Ashes don't burn...

Arsil and Locke:
You mean someone might try to kidnap him? Monsters. Thank you for the information Arsil Vuvu says awkwardly.

Vuvu lets Ash knock him down on his back. If anyone tries to take you boy, I will bomb them into the next life. He commences to wrestle with his friend.

Possibly seems odd considering how gruff and unsocialble Vuvu is that he seems to be so friendly to an animal.

Paladin 3;Hp 35/35; AC 19, T 13, FF 16; F +8, R +7, W +6; CMD 20; CMB +7; Per +2; Init +5; Melee +8; Ranged +6; Speed 20 ft

"I meant the cocoon, apologies."

"I think we found him trapped under some rocks passed the spider. Wasn't there a bunch a moss growing around him?" Locke says and questions. Looking through the piles with a sense of curiosity.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Vuvu & Locke:
No i mean other people, wizard or just anyone with enough gold that would be interested in having him around. He is a better guard, pet than a normal dog and have interesting fighting abilities. The moss would be normal considering his plant growth aura ability

Wolf:
Hemmings takes the coin bags, and gets out of there before any weirdness spills over. Once away, he stops to count coin. After that, he will look around in the basement for any other things of interest.

Arsil Locke Tyrel:
Yes there was moss around him. Yes I healed him and gave him water. He has been traveling with us since. Buy him? He is not mine to sell. He is my friend, and I like to think I am his. I could not sell him. Such arrogance. Vuvu scowl deepens even more as he imagines someone trying to buy Ash.

The scowl vanishes as Ash licks his face and he sputters.

"I would also think that he is your friend. For all I remember, Ash is the only one that takes off the scowl on your face."

Vuvu scowls at Tyrel

Hemmings:
You count the coins, in each bag there is 25 gp. How do you exit, the door, or secret passage? Likely the door which opens up into a hallway that you have not explored before... two doors at the far ends of the hallway and two more doors on the sides.

M Halfshanks Rogue/3 HP:21/21 - AC: 16, T:14, FF: 13 - Perception +8 - Init: +3 - F:+4/ R: +8/ W: +2 (+3 vs fear) - CMB: +1; CMD: 14

DM Wolf:
How many are a "few" pouches of coin? Like 3 or like 14?.

Hemmings will head for the nearest door, listen, then attempt to open in stealth mode.

Percpetion: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

Hemmings:
Sorry, 3 pouches. Taking your time hearing for threats then opening and closing the door quietly. You find yourself in a hallway. Then in your head you hear ruby, "Your group is being sent out, I will not be joining you on this one, though follow me and I will get you topside quickly." Assuming you follow Ruby she takes you down the hallway through the door into a room with many liquids on the wall in different kinds of containers, stairs lead up to a trap door that opens when you get close enough to the general room.

Arsil:
Drake activates the stone in your possession. Take your group, saddle up, kill the goblins and check in at the the tower, Forsend will meet you there tomorrow. Another group will be in to defend at noon.

*Edit, please read it again for any changes.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Arsil will tell those around her.

I just received our new order. We are to saddle up, kill the goblins and check in at the tower, the bard will meet us there tomorrow.

she pause for a second

Pass the message to the rest of the party. and let's get ready.

Arsil will leave to go to her room get her armor and her backpack ready.

she will knock on locke's door

Locke:
About the coursal i just wanted to tell you also this information: Their blood is known for use in healing potions. One of the main reasons they are hunted.

"I healed most of those with dire wounds, and bandaged up anyone else, all the villagers should be fine, though slightly in shock." Locke says then goes inside to collect his gear. Nodding to anyone or anything on his way.

Arsil:
"Very interesting, though our potion maker is Vuvu, it would be good to tell him this as well." Locke says as he is finishing collecting his gear and throws on his backpack.

Locke gets back down from his room and goes straight to the stables, unless someone stops him to chat or some other reason.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Locke:
yes i know he tried to sell me potions already. But i figured since is has to do with healing i figured he would take it better from you. After all you are the specialist in that aspect and he thinks that i am just a pretty face with not much inside...

Vuvu has the stone again so I read it.

This is foolishness. We need to rest. I am useless until I have. Vuvu will say this to Drake. [b]Unless you would rather we all get killed.

I have nothing left of worth.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Untrue. Locke, Tyrel, Seg and i have no need to rest. You might feel useless without your bombs but you can still wield a lance can't you?

I have no bombs, no healing to offer. I have two flasks of acid. After that I can throw rocks. Don't be a brainless fool. The goblins have most certainly made their camp, and it is not like they aren't easy to follow. Resting is the smart thing to do. Vuvu speaks very slowly as if speaking to a child.

And no I cannot wield a lance.

And where the hell is the halfling.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

I still have lots of power behind my sword arm, i believe Locke has a decent amount of magical energies left and Seg and Tyrel can still wield their weapons. You have spend most of your ressources, i understaind but this fighting force as a whole doesn't just reply in your strength now does it? replied Arsil in a playful tone

Then I might as well stay here and let you all take care of it then. Because I will be of no use other than keeping a dogslicer from stabbing you all once. Not my idea of fun. Vuvu says and takes a seat on the ground.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

you are selling yourself short vuvu, you can wield a shortbow or any other simple weapon, or just stay home. So who is going ? she ask smiling

Which means it is likely 9 in the evening. Darkness is upon you.

"I only have my water healing, the rest of my magical energies have been exhausted, true, it would be unwise to set out until morning. Though if you choose this route I will follow." Locke says with lack of emotion, though he smiles a bit at the end.

I agree with Locke and Vuvu. They have numbers over us already. At night, with their superior vision, they could easily set an ambush. Never underestimate an ennemy just because they are short and atinky. I saw one use alchemicals at the vilkage. If they have acces to alchemical fire and acid they could pitetialky create a deadly trap. We shoukd wait for morming, leave early and catch them at noon when the glare of the sun is at its higheat. They will be tired and blinded and probably disorganised. Goblins are not known for setting up good camps.

Locke walks up to Segregius, "Are you alright Segregius, are you drunk, you seem to be talking strangely." He says with concern on his face, he will start checking you out unless you dismiss him.

Serious people please spell check yourself, if needed put it in a word processor.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Good call i haven't seen Hemmings since i went into the inn the first time when we got hit by the aura of fear. Anyone else seen him?

M Halfshanks Rogue/3 HP:21/21 - AC: 16, T:14, FF: 13 - Perception +8 - Init: +3 - F:+4/ R: +8/ W: +2 (+3 vs fear) - CMB: +1; CMD: 14

From a side door, at that very moment, Hemmings appears. Bin in some interestin’ places hereabouts, what’d I miss?” He grins sheepishly at the assembled group.

He explains a little about the trapdoor, the basement, and the strange behavior of the 2 Drakes, speaking multiple languages all at once, and acting very erratic. He also tells them of the unconscious Forsend in Drake’s secret room.

”Ruby says we’re getting’ ready to leave again, but that must be in the mornin’. It’s dark now, ain’t it? Where we headed, then? Back to the Tower?”

Pouch or gold. Vuvu says as he walks over to Hemmings with his hand out.

Not that I don't trust you...but I don't trust you. Vuvu says with what is as close to a smile as anyone has ever seen...it looks more like a sneer.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Ah Hemmings, so good of you to drop by. In the morning we are to track down the goblins that escape, then head to the tower and meet Forsend she replied with a smile

"Why do we care s'much 'bout the escapin' goblins? They ain't hurtin' no one else since we gave 'em back that jade skull thingy. Let 'em alone I say."

To Vuvu:"I had a line on a pouch but it disapperared with Kirren. Yer coin is not on me, I was dressed fer dinner, remember. I can get it soon enough."

Paladin 3;Hp 35/35; AC 19, T 13, FF 16; F +8, R +7, W +6; CMD 20; CMB +7; Per +2; Init +5; Melee +8; Ranged +6; Speed 20 ft

"That is true but, being of destructive nature, there's no telling that they might not come back."

SM 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 I assume you are tellig the truth

Well go get it. If you think I am leaving that much coin with you, you must have been hit in the head. If you get a bead on one then I will give it to you again.

M Halfshanks Rogue/3 HP:21/21 - AC: 16, T:14, FF: 13 - Perception +8 - Init: +3 - F:+4/ R: +8/ W: +2 (+3 vs fear) - CMB: +1; CMD: 14

Hemmings scurries off to retrieve Vuvu's coins and prepare his gear for the next days' expedition. When he's all good and packed, he delivers the coins to Vuvu's room or wherever the grump alchemist is.

LOL

When Hemmings returns, Vuvu grabs him by the arm.

Hmm you returned the coin. You must have been hit on the head. Stand Still.

Unless he runs off, Vuvu does a quick check on him. Heal1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

Now remember that healing draught I gave you will not work in the morning. So take it tonight or give it to someone who needs it before you sleep.

Once he has counted his coin, and made sure all of the loot has been stored safely for everyone, Vuvu gives Ash some water and food, and then he brews a Con Mutagen for himself, before sleeping. In the morning he prepares his extracts and is ready to go bright and early.

Locke is not in the mood for celebrations or much interactions. He gets a few drinks at the bar and then heads to bed. Most of his gear already to go.

Seg walks over to Vuvu during his inspection of Hemmings.

I could use some stitches myself. Those goblins cut me up in a few places, one of them tried to blow me up. I also wanted to ask you if you found anything on the corpses?

After the conversation with Vuvu the cavalier will inspect the goblins for heraldry or other hierarchical or military signs, emblems or symbols. He then goes back into the Dragon's draught and head for the bar.

I'll have a bottle of brandy and two glasses. Just put it on my tab

Walking to a table he makes eye contact with Hemmings and nods at him to follow him with a slight smile, its not an insistent gesture but more of an invitation.

Here drink this. He takes the infusion back from Hemmings and tosses it to Seg.

CLW1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Then he sets to it with more mundane methods [ooc] Any healing if I use the healers kit dm? I do in any event.

Vuvu takes out his kit and sets to work patching Seg up. Heal 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27

Hmm that is a nasty contusion on your back. I recomend refraining from...your usual vigorous nighttime activities tonight.

Seeing Seg's face But what do I know I am just the healer.

M Halfshanks Rogue/3 HP:21/21 - AC: 16, T:14, FF: 13 - Perception +8 - Init: +3 - F:+4/ R: +8/ W: +2 (+3 vs fear) - CMB: +1; CMD: 14

Hemmings grins at Vuvu's continued grumpiness and follows the cavalier's invitation to join him, intrigued by what this mighty longshanks could want with him.

Seg there are a few symbols in the stuff of the goblins, though after analyzing them for a while, they are just symbols, mostly scribbles or drawings, no words. It might make sense to a goblin.

Quote:
Treat Deadly Wounds: When treating deadly wounds, you can restore hit points to a damaged creature. Treating deadly wounds restores 1 hit point per level of the creature. If you exceed the DC by 5 or more, add your Wisdom modifier (if positive) to this amount. A creature can only benefit from its deadly wounds being treated within 24 hours of being injured and never more than once per day. You must expend two uses from a healer's kit to perform this task. You take a –2 penalty on your Heal skill check for each use from the healer's kit that you lack.

then I will do that! taking off another healer kit charge! Seg you get another 5 HP back

It looks like we are waiting and Seg and Hemmings to finish their interactions then we can move on to the next day. Oh Wait! You boys do that in spoilers, we are going to move ahead to the next morning.

Next Morning!
Many of you can hear the muffled voices of singing...

Once downstairs, or at least to the banisters:
Locke and several women are singing praises to the gods of good. To bring blessings upon all for the betterment of all.

It looks like the Dragon Draught is back to normal business with the barmaids, bartenders and quite a few of the ladies on the banisters or sitting in comfy chairs on the second floor.

What do you do when you wake up?

Vuvu actually wakes up with a smile, as Ash is asleep in the coals of the now burned out fire. He pets him awake and heads downstairs, enjoying a nice meal of bread, fruit and cider. He gets a chunk of cheese and feeds that to Ash.

Vuvu loads up his gear and gets ready to go. Of course by then the smile has turned into a frown.

Hp 35/40 AC 23 / 16 / 17 (+5 Perc; +6 Init; Fort +6, Ref +7, Will +5)

Arsil will head downstairs, after all being an elf had many advantage including the little amount of "sleep" needed.

She will listen to the song and will not disturbe anyone.
She is in light armor and carrying a backpack with her left hand.

Once the song is done she will order a light meal, and loock for the spokperson for the girls she talked to last night.

So i take it that you made some satisfactory arrangment with Cornash for youre continued stay and employment ?.

She will chitchat a bit asking about the wellfare of all the girls since the attack. Then she will head over by locke and ask him if he felt in better spirit today?

"Well this is a nice change compared to what happened. The townspeople need this change of attitude."

She responds to Arsil appearing fine, "He sounds to be more of a bear of a boss, though it seems he wants to better us, one way or another. We will see what the future holds, though either way he has said he will take care of us."
