seeing tyrel making a will save i am wondering also. i though that only Hemming was concerned since he was the closest to the creature.

Stay here, form a circle and stay together. Look impressive and no one will mess with you. Your group is big enough for that to work.

After giving his advice, the cavalier heads into the inn.

I guess Tyrel is scared of talking statues.


Vuvu, Ash goes after the goblin, quickly running outside after it. Vuvu, only with a DC20 Perception check would you hear the call to battle.

Vuvu:
"Well at least you came. I am fine, just have a few scratches." He staggers over to some of his herbs to start make a gauze.

The creature puts off an aura of fear. If panicked, then 1d6 rounds. The aura is 60 feet, centered on it.

Seg, feel free to look at the spoilers above to get a feel of what is going on.

Tyrel runs back out of the inn, as Seg gets to the doors. The two floating suits of armor are still just standing on either side of the door. Arsil has blade out, and half way to the new figure.

Hemmings watches the elf thing torture Tali, before it can reply to the elf's question, fear overtakes him despite his Halfling innate bravery.

He drops his rapier, and dashes out the door as fast as he can. Right past Seg and the women standing around the entrance.

[b] Whats tha..[b] Hemmings runs past Seg so fast he barely has time to say those words. Now worried, he steps into the room and see the malevolent figure himself.

Ice grips his hear, fear like nothing he has ever felt runs through his body. Without an ounce of hesitation he turns on his heel and runs out the door, he's out of the building before his sword even hits the floor.

I knew i had low will but, lol, i couldnt even make that save with a twenty without a challenge or a calling. I better get Iron will in there.

and then arsil just realise all of them save the poor girl are affected by fear and she is now left alone with the stranger.
She pauses for a second to consider her situation and starts backtracking to the door putting her weapon in front of her defensively.


Arsil:
"Since all the boys ran, it looks like it is just me and you, dear." the malevolent figure says. He waves his hand and the doors fly shut.

"Now little one, who do you serve, who are you allied with? Then my master will deal with you." It says in a deep lurking voice.

An elf lies on the ground whimpering behind the figure, it then begins to float in your direction. One hand on his chin and the other grabbing the opposite elbow.

do i recognize the elf lying on the ground. any knowledge i posses that will help me figure out what the thing coming at me is? what time of the day is it? any windows in the common room?

DM:
I serve no one but myself. Who are you and what do you want ?

DM:
Arsil will move in such a way that there is always 35ft at least between her and the creature. The reason is that with all the chairs and table in the common room he won't be able to charge her.


Arsil:
Good point, you make sure that tables and chairs stay between the two of you. The elf on the ground is female and looks to be one of the barmaids. You just had dinner with the group, which means that it is early evening. The sun is not down, but getting there. There are windows but thick curtains cover them right now, the windows are on the third level and sky windows.

"So you are just a patron of this... this... building? I am a servant of Cornash, one of many to find those who have betrayed him and disable them, like the elf you saw me disable. If you attack I will disable you as well, sit and I will go look for others who fight."

Hemmings you feel the panick leave you, and come to your senses. The doors to the inn are shut. What do you do?

Once he has done his actions Tyrel comes to his senses and the two of you can interact and figure out what you are going to do. Seg is over there having a panic as well.

Vuvu:
Ash eventually comes back with the goblin in maw and drops it on the other body. He sits, wags his tail, and barks quietly at you. As if he is saying 'Look what I did.'


DM:
Vuvu walks over to Ash and pets him vigorously Such a good dog He hugs him before turning his attention back to his mentor.

Yes i am just a patron of this inn, as you can see from the fine dress i am wearing i was in the middle of dinner here when a goblin raid was called. I just had the time to grab my weapon in order to defend my life, while the big boys outside where dealing with most of them. Cornash you said, well i am sorry to said that it doesn't ring a bell. If it is other you wish to fight to avenge your master, by all means don't let me delay you further. Its not like i can do much about it.

Tyrel as the fear passes from holding your brain and body in flight mode, what are you actions? The doors are shut.

Arsil:
"Ummm, that does not make sense, but sit and I won't have to disable you." it says while using the hand that was on its chin to scratch where its forehead would be. The other hand goes to its side.

An elf in fine attire, though the same kind of multiple plated bracers and gauntlets begins to walk down the stair case. "Well it looks like most of the employees have left, and the patrons as well. Interesting." Stark white hair, bright sapphire blue eyes, and skin that looks to be made of white marble.

"What?" says Tyrel obviously in shock after he realizes that he just left his party inside with a monstrosity.

He tries to open the door, but to no avail. He quickly goes around to the back door.

Is the back door closed too? I mean that's what we used during the goblin attack, and it's going to be behind the bar since that's what they used for the bar supplies.


Back door? You don't know of such a thing to the Dragon's Draught, though you might ask the women who streamed out of the West side of the inn.

They point to a hole that looks like it would not fit a cat, once you get right next to it, you can see that the hole is large enough for you. It is steps down.

"We should warn you that leads to the skills parts of the thieves guild, if you are not that graceful, you might fall to your death."

I'd rather stand if you don't mind. I feel less sticky with all that goblin blood on my dress. Indeed all the people inside the inn left as just 2 minutes ago this town came under attack by a goblin tribe our 20 or more raiders. Everyone is outside as some buildings were set on fire. If you are done here i should go back and help also, and leave you and your friend over there to your business. DM arsil will still keep the same safe distance form those two

Using the windows, Ok, DC 25 Climb check to climb up 50 feet to the first windows.

Arsil:
Do as you wish. The elf says with a wave of his hand the doors crack open. He descends the stairway and begins to walk over to the elf on the ground.

Hemmings looks at the door of the inn trying to tell if it's locked or magically held or something else.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

If it looks locked, he'll try to open the lock.

Disable Device: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15

Failing that, he'll circle the building looking for alternate means of entry, including glass windows or other floors.


Vuvu continues to converse with his Master, blissfully unaware that anything is going on.

The two floating suits of armor with morningstars come a bit closer to you Hemmings and hold their weapons down to your level.

If he can enter safely, Hemmings will try it.


Hemmings slips through the doors to find Arsil coming his way.

It seems there is another figure in the main hall with the other same menacing figure.

Vuvu finishes helping patch his master up and he and Ash walk back outside and proceed to loot the dead goblins.

tali is answering a few question for these two person. Not much i can do about it. now turn around and gather every one. We have to get to drake.

If any of you girls have served Cornash, he is back with a vengeance so run. Those of you who don't know him just find shelter in town and help the villagers put out the fire you will be find.

not waiting for long she will search the town hard for either the V-L or the V-C to tell them exactly the same thing


Hemmings would likely try to look around once in, though there was no perception check on his part... 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

Hemmings you can hear some whimpers about 40 feet from you, the two figures stand about where the sound is coming from. You move just a bit to get a clear view and you are sure you see Tali, at the two figure's feet. Well one of them has a fog around where its feet should be and the other more humanoid figure has a robe that reaches the floor.

The women follow Arsil's suggestion and they all begin to help put out the fire with the townsfolk.

Soon the fires are put out and many of the townsfolk return to their houses, allowing the women to join them.

Vuvu you show up in the clearing in front of the inn as the townsfolk are dispersing. You start to loot the bodies, are you just collecting the coins, gems, and other shiney's that they might have or more of the mundane items too?

Any sign of Either Drake?


Arsil searches the town building by building, though after searching the 50 or so buildings in town she does not find either Drake. You did see that about a dozen goblins left with the goblin leader holding up the gem glittering in the sun in the far distance.

Vuvu collects the coin gems and shinys, but he also makes a pile of the weapons, armor and mundane stuff as well.

Hemmings tells Arsil in a whisper, before she departs:"I saw Drake and Forsend open a secret passage and head down it when the goblin fight started. Maybe they are still inside the Inn somewhere? Also, Vuvu may still have the scrying glass that contacts Drake. Find him and ask."

Hemmings looks at the 2 figures, assuming the one with foggy feet is Cornash, do I recognize the other? Do I see any way past into the building either upstairs or downstairs?

Seg runs back towards the inn, pausing to pick up two dog slicers before heading for the door hw fled from. When he sees Arsil leave the building he stops.

What was that creature? What does it want? Did they do anything to you?

I will then enter the building and go for my sword while making a prayer to Aroden to grant me strength and courage.
