Wolves are people, too!
Wolves are not people! They're dogs! Now cats are people =)

Actually, I would argue that wolves and dogs are quite different ;-)
For a start, Nigel can talk to wolves (and rats, and bats), but not dogs or cats :-P
Re: Having space, I appreciate that is more difficult in Singapore - where I grew up, we had acreage, so planting a few ex-Christmas trees in the 'house paddock' wasn't a problem!

If we want Fenton to be medium sized for the fort, we have to have Robert shrink him for 3 hours. I’m going to sleep, so I’m fine with that if everyone wants it so we have more room.
Note that Fenton is still a bodyguard because we haven’t had a chance to talk to the trogs.

GM Mort wrote:Anyway as a large cat, I do not have green paws. So asking me to grow anything is an exercise in futility.Have you ever tried growing succulents? I go into them in a big way :-)
At the very least, surely dragonfruit would be suitable for the Singaporean climate...?
We live in flats like these, so there's literally no space unless you grow out of the pot. And I live on the third floor so the void deck is rather shaded. The only thing I might manage to grow is what we call a money plant. Dragon fruits are more akin to cacti then other succulents. They need a LOT of sunlight and well drained soils. Commercially they are usually grown on hill slopes. Yes, I may not have green paws, but I have a rank or two in knowledge nature, being a kitty wizard.

Nope! Wolves and Dawgs all belong to the canine family and wolves can breed with dogs which means their DNA is pretty similar.

Great, well, if they are basically the same, does that mean Nigel can talk to (and understand) dogs, too?
:-P
Wolves *can* breed with dogs, but from what I recall, their offspring don't really fit into either parent's world...?
Hmmm...
Well, there *are* succulents that prefer (some) shade; your other alternative would be to install reflector panels to funnel more sunlight into the balcony area.
Heh. Around here, the stuff you linked is called 'devil's ivy' ;-)
This is what I think of as a 'Money Plant', if we are talking succulents...?
Just a Mort
|
No because pathfinder rules are explicit on what you can talk to.
And some people like owning wolfdogs for whatever reason. Ain't my business.
You are not allowed to install reflector panels anywhere outside your apartment to reflect sunlight in.
Different naming conventions, Nigel
In Singapore if you asked for money plant, you would get devil's ivy.
Ratel Dier
ok, I think Ratel and Bear are ready. Bear is now large, I think I've got all his stuff right. He can't wear his harness or leather armor any more but I'm still counting the ice armor, if I need to change that please let me know :-)
OH, as for wolves and dogs, we used to have huskies, genetically their the closest to wolves, one female we had was 1/16th wolf.
little known fact, years ago sled dogs were let run in the summers and would occasionally breed with wolves. So it's possible to have an AKC registered husky or malamute that have wolf bloodline. It messes up the conformation, but they are still registerable.

Going for Gym so I probably won't post till after lunch. Meh, don't really feel like rushing.
Ratel Dier
had a YMCA membership years ago, I found no joy in swimming laps or lifting weights. If I could do something that was a game or competitive like racquet ball I did ok.
GM Mort
I wanted to upload some of my beatsaber videos... I have one here
The issue is if you're playing competitively, you need to move fast, and the more bulk you have, even if you can move fast, it's only for short bursts, which won't last you the whole game. I don't move fast enough so... Nevermind =P
The guys who can move fast in our office are Urm... Rather lean. There's a rather round guy who can move decently fast, but he usually only plays for 20 min out of 2 hours. I suspect it's a stamina issue.
Grenwold Houtvester
Putting myself as available to scout for a bit, like we did before. I think I've been training stealth too, so I should be a fair bit better. I'm at +14 stealth, +13 perception without Fenton adjacent.
FYI thanks for the wand of Reduce Animal Mort, yer the best.

Anyway my spectacles just broke, so do I get a day off?
*Grrrrrrrr* Replacing them will cost a bomb.
GM Mort
It’s called I can’t see anything so yeah how useful am I going to be since I’m blind as a bat without them.
GM Mort
Sort of get the point why I wanted to get to a computer before giving you that?
GM Mort
OK specs guy managed to stick my glasses back with glue, so I have some time to get to my spare glasses. I won't be able to post tomorrow until night as I am at my cousins Christmas lunch. I must say having that bit of extra time off made me a lot less stressed, since I need to pick up the cake tonight. Having to pick up my spare glasses and the cake in one night is cutting things very close, and causing me to get stressed out.
Ratel Dier
I messed up my elbow playing racquet ball, so I stopped. The only other activity I did was softball with our church team. Not really very athletic.
Good to hear your not blind Mort, enjoy the party. By the way, beat saber looked really cool.
Grenwold Houtvester
Enjoy your party and sorry to hear about the glasses!
GM Mort
Actually when I meant a day off I meant a day off PBPs. For the virtue that if I can't see what I'm reading, how am I supposed to post replies...
Also racquet ball looks similar to squash.
That's my third try on that song btw, I sorta like it for the workout it gives.
GM Mort
Nigel - you might appreciate this. First try, I don't do it as well as Mortal Kombat.
You'll probably need to DL it to see.
"Hedran"
I have no problem with the idea I don't want anyone to get burnt out. And Christmas is comming up so posting will be a bit harder for me.
Ratel Dier
it's up to you all, but if were taking a break for the holiday is Christmas eve really the best time to expect everyone to post?
Grenwold Houtvester
Anything is good for me, whatever y’all wanna do.
GM Mort
Yeah I think I'll take a break until 27th Dec 2018. Sorry but with me having to cover for my colleague and assorted family commitments over Christmas has been making me testy, not to mention I still need to pack extra time to exercise so I can lose weight, so I've been running on short sleep in addition to that.

Merry Christmas everyone!
I also learnt a new trick today, you can play videos on your laptop, then follow, to do your workout in your bedroom^^
Grenwold Houtvester
Belated Merry Christmas to those celebrators, belated solstice (winter or summer) to those folks who do not!
GM Mort
A lot less stressful and very exercisish. No presents because we don't really celebrate Christmas. Had to go clean my brothers fish tank filter. I don't know why but it stopped working yesterday because the water inside it ran out ><
Also yesterday it was making noises, and my brother was saying something about cavitation, which is on air inside the air pump, which can damage the motor in the long run. Urk.
Grenwold Houtvester
Same. I also will put a “reduce animal” statblock version of Fenton in my profile. I asked Robert to do a charge from his wand before the fight - should last 3 hours.
GM Mort
Sure, of course mutagens are fine to the party but if you're talking to people on the low magic strata who have never seen something like this before and you suddenly morph into an abomination, well...you get a predictable reaction.
Chesanardo shape shifting involves shifting in a natural creature, aka a tiger, Eagle but not a mix and match critter.
I did not bot Hedran as I am busy with work as well.
"Hedran"
Thanks Mort. I should be mostly back now. I will have an outage tomorrow evening (my time) and then a few travelling hours on the following day.
GM Mort
I just won't bot people. And may be a bit slow on the response, since today I have to clear up the Christmas tree decorations, and tag a whole lot of furniture(it's the annual stocktake), so I am going to be away from the computer.
The good news is my brother's fish tank filter now looks to be running as intended.
