mort, I totally screwed up, I thought green was down and orange was the one still up, can I change that attack? If not, I will repost it. I posted in a hurry not reading who was up and who was down. I would have had ratel and bear attack the standing monster.
GM Mort
Go ahead. I was really wondering at the party's questionable decisions. Like choosing to CDG when threatened and moving from a standing opponent to hit a downed one etc...
GM Mort
If I failed to give clear information, then yes it is my fault. But if I did and players fail to read...well.

No, your info was great, I just got in a hurry and didn't check the colors... Sorry.
GM Mort
I need a direction you guys wish to head - north east or south east before I can move things.
"Hedran"
Hedran will claim a few things if no one has an objection:
Aside from the wands and scimitar which he claimed in game he will grab the wand of grease, and the handy haversack so drawing things does not provoke.
GM Mort
Mind you, you guys might start thinking about equipping your NPCs...they're not loot greedy fks like Greta who'd help themselves to anything that caught their eye, being both good aligned.
Grenwold Houtvester
Cirieo should get the chain shirt and the korrigan club I think.
Noelan could get a magical longbow if he doesn't have one, I think Robert took the adaptive one, so maybe his old +1 longbow if he's not using it any more?
GM Mort
Hmm better to hit but 1 point less dmg on hit. Not sure if tradeoff is worth it but I've never been good at numbers.
Grenwold Houtvester
+1 to hit is 5% increased damage. If the damage is at least 20ish per hit, +1 to hit is a little better than +1 damage. Otherwise damage tends to be a little better.
That said, sometimes it's better to just hit!
GM Mort
To be honest I feel that equipping NPCs with you is the party’s responsibility and I really shouldn’t need to remind you on it. When Nigel was playing Strange Aeons on solo Gestalt mode – he actually BOUGHT GEAR for his friendly NPCs.
GM Mort
For those who don’t know: Greta’s True Neutrally aligned and her former occupation was as a town guard before she started following the party like a puppy. In more ways the one. That was in a game I previously ran.
Ratel Dier
hey, just checking in, I've caught a head cold and a little under the weather. I will check the boards when I get back home from work.

Hey, we’re trying! :D
GM Mort
There are other things on the Loot list they both can use.
Considering that Father Noelan's character sheet is on the campaign page, while Cirieo has nothing on him except what the party has given him.
"Hedran"
Give the NPCs a cloak of resistance each, it looks like there are 4 there.
The club can be used like a dancing weapon that's a good choice for Cirieo. He can take a small morning star and small heavy crossbow as well.
Someone with low saves should take that lucky horseshoe or duct tape it to bear.
Are all item slots available to animal companions because I all for strapping some cloaks to bears, wolves, elks, and weasels?
"Hedran"
can bear wear/use the horseshoe?
The horseshoe is a slotless item it is not like the actual horseshoes for hooves that exist in Pathfinder.
The bear likely can't activate the horseshoe for the +4 without 3 int but Paizo has only made strong rules for this in PFS.
GM Mort
Use animal archive for which animal gets what slot, Extra item slot can be for anything slot you choose. PFS rules for magic item activation aka 3 Int.
GM Mort
The club can only be used as a dancing weapon If you have a long beard (2 ft), which Cirieo does not.
GM Mort
Look at his mini, does he have much hair to begin with? Besides Dancing is meh since it doesn't add your other bonuses.
GM Mort
Adventuring is adventuring, but think about how you’d feel if I dug out George Washington’s grave, opened it, looted it, then left it out there in the open. I would believe you’d find me disrespectful as well.
"Hedran"
I don't know. I have not seen the national treasure movies.
Other comparisons include every mummy in a museum, Roman graves, and Celtic burial sites and the relocation of cities worth of cadavers from London graveyards. The world almost ran out of mummies because we were digging them up and eating them.
Though I agree putting the lids back on is a respectful idea.
GM Mort
Maybe some of his war medals might sell for a fine sum since they're antiques?
Eating mummies is rather a disgusting thought and that's saying a lot since I'm known to eat nearly everything.
GM Mort
Yeah but long dead human remains? Eww. I don't eat humans and certainly not cadavers. I like my meats fresh, thx.
At least eating tiger p*nises and rhinoceros horns sound less gross.
I'm also not counting provisions since you guys have like more then 400 points of provisions at this point of time. And maths is Not a strong suit of mine.

Slight exaggeration :-P
Mummia was used as a medicinal in Europe for several centuries, due to a mis-translation, but the real danger to Egyptian mummies came later, when they were not only used as a popular party game ('Victorian Mummy Unwrappings' were a post-dinner-thing, for a while), but were also ground up to make paint, their wrappings used to make butcher's paper (for at least a brief period), and at one point used as an alternative fuel in steam trains (although that last one may be apocryphal, from what I understand).
Ratel Dier
so does this conversation make anyone else want to rewatch "the mummy"? the good one I mean with Brendon Frasier, not the stupid new one...
GM Mort
Nope - too many movies to catch in holiday season and too little time. I need to catch the Grinch, my BF wants to watch mortal engines, we both want to watch Ralph breaks the internet, and Into the spiderverse.
So it's really a lot of movies. We watched The Crimes of Grinderwald yesterday.
Grenwold Houtvester
I loved the mummy movies!

The scarcity is not really exaggerated there was such high demand and the supply chain ran so low that sizeable counterfeiting marked developed. Now it's true that Mummies were being used for that they were being used for other things.
"Hedran"
Last night Hedran would have scribed mount (from the scroll and consuming it) into his spellbook. Provided there was a break from the rain. I understand if it was to rainy.

Oh, I agree - the market for counterfeit mummies became quite large; I meant that saying it was solely because they were being *eaten* was a slight exaggeration ;-)

I'm not one of those GMs who destroy people's spellbooks because it rained/they got wet. If you want to scribe, you scribe fine.
If you do stoopid things like putting your spellbook in your backpack while going for several hours of underwater exploration, then yes, I'll say your spellbook gets ruined because that is really not exercising common sense.
GM Mort
Yeah anyway last night was so cold that you'd probably need to find shelter or get fatigued, but since everyone has tons of survival so I'll say you guys managed to build a serviceable camp on take 10 survival. So wherever you were sheltering, you were relatively dry.
Though really, someone wanted to head out in the thunderstorm, but the post was deleted. I remembering seeing that let's go post and going???
I stated lightning was flashing across the horizon and someone just goes, let's go adventuring?
GM Mort
How this episode is working out is instead of just giving you reports on what happened in your absence, everytime Misthome is under attack – you’ll get to run its defense – each of you taking control of NPCs you’ve previously interacted with. If you haven’t had any interactions with any, then a random NPC will be allotted to you. I felt it was a more interesting way of dealing things rather then just have NPCs report you the result. Of course at the time that you’re playing as the NPCs, you can suggest things to improve the defences – or things that will make life easier for the next attack.

Also as part of Beat Saber silliness I'm going to do a demo at the Beat Saber booth in front of all my colleagues who are interested to watch. Buh bye for a bit!
