"Bunklevore" barely has time to regard the moving shadow, much less deduct that it has no point of origin before it makes contact with his shadow, spreads over it, and in a split-second within his head loses a war for his brain, body, and soul. The lone goblin, fully invaded by Itzal... bleeds slightly from his eyes, and strangely, his gums -- making his broad mouth full of pointy teeth particularly gruesome. A quick fleck of the tounge and the blood is gone however, and a sudden blink reels the bloody tears back into the goblins head, as if to assert that every cell of this creature was now his slave...

Is Itzal PMing these actions to you or do we have some DMPC action going on? Also, when are we getting a gameplay thread? It helps me keep my campaign organized. :)

Good to know, ty. Am I able to verbally communicate or...what? Should I start learning 8-legged sign language?

I am SOOOOO glad you asked, Tsao -- "Zalgan" can be spoken and understood by any other being from the dark tapestry, and it's reliance on sense-organ warping, auditory, and visual cues to relate context means that no matter what host you hijack, you will always be able to communicate with other party memebers.

You could FORCE the spider to talk in another language, but the wear and tear on the host would be substantial at your, and it's, CR. Hope that clears things up. :D

I created a campaign thread, Which I will update, but it's called "Horrors of the Red Cathexis!" -- I didn't mean to DM-PC anyone, and surely we will work out all of the kinks in these first moments... but I got the impression Itzal was holding an action to stay stealthed until the ideal moment to strike, and an ideal moment presented -- he now has possession of one of the goblins, and the other four goblins are still dragging the trash in...

I just figured if people set parameters that for example they were hiding until it was time to strike, and an important window was closing -- I should throw dice. If Itzal corrects me I'll apologize, but I thought I already had instructions!

Certainly people who want to make sure they roll all of their own dice, may do so -- just don't be surprised if moves are processed out of sequence because other people are posting more frequently. We'll work out the kinks as we go, I for one am pleased with how things are unfolding! If you have constructive criticism, feel free to PM me -- I'm new to PBP here, so if I am not hip to the culture, I'll learn, and you can help. :P

Guess I was botted. I was at work and had to step away for a few moments, but I was going to say he'll go for it. It was the target and circumstances he was waiting for.

"Mine." Itzal began laughing telepathically, following his comment. He had only sent the message to his fellow hijackers.

There should be a link under the gameplay tab that allows you to create a thread that is automatically linked to this campaign.

It's the action he was waiting for, I just had to step away for a few moments. No hard feelings here.

Created new thread, thank you Choon! It's "HORRORS OF THE RED CATHEXIS!"
-- so we can migrate there. I must say I am enjoying myself -- I'm not fishing for praise but do let me know if so far we are meeting expectations, and PM me any suggestions you have for improving the experience!

If anyone was lurking before is coming back, This campaign has officially started -- but you can still dot your interest if at some point in the future you still might want to join. If you have checked out the campaign thread, any opinions or constructive criticism of how the game is run is richly appreciated. This is my first Pathfinder PBP!

I'm always lurking, :)

Its running quite smoothly so far... I especially enjoy the interparty cooperation with conflicting reasons

:)

Anybody out there interested in resurrecting this game idea?

Welcome back!

I would be.

I would be interested in this.

I'm curious. Is there a character creation post, or are you looking to rework the idea more?
